on Ben Affleck thinks Sienna Miller is perfect for a Batman role, but he won't say which one

Ben Affleck's Live By Night co-star Sienna Miller has expressed interest in a Batman role before. She previously said that she'd like to play Catwoman, but was told by Affleck that she's not in the script. But lucky for her, Affleck has a role in mind that he thinks she'd be perfect for.

During an interview with HeyUGuys, Affleck was told that Miller would be a perfect Vicki Vale. Affleck disagreed, saying "She's perfect for anything. Vicki Vale is kind of bitchy, I think she's better for like..."

Affleck then stopped himself, either because he didn't want to give away any secrets about The Batman, or because he knew even just suggesting a role would spread like wildfire online. Check out the quick clip below.

        Now that Gotham City Sireens has been anounced, i'd say Poison Ivy (or Catwoman).
        Not too sure about her acting tho, so it may just be a supporting role!!

    Catwoman. I don't see any other female character that would fit her well. Batgirl is really the only other main staple for Batman that's a female and I don't see that happening here.

        He still didn't say that either thou, the interviewer was Joking about it and he was going along with it, and decided to not go to far or the seed will start more shit about the Batman movie he's sick and tired of been asked about, especially on the promotions of other movies!

    I definitely would love to see her as Poison Ivy. Miller is a great diverse actress and can certainly pull the nerd to sexy look with Ivy. I think Catwoman is too obvious to choose from Bat's Rogue gallery.

    I'm not implying Batgirl. I'd rather see Oracle, because if another Bat comes to town, I, personally, would like to see Batwoman instead.

    Googled female villians and found this never even knew they did a female ventriloquist. Also would be a bit if a waste unless they show her before she's frozen but I thought Nora Fries for a less obvious choice.

    Another awkward Batman related interaction with an interviewer, this time with his girlfriend, I mean co-star, sitting beside him. LOL I like that Affleck humored the interviewer (sweaty fanboy), and had a little fun with the response. There's a chance that David Ayer could cast Miller as Catwoman in the Sirens movie. Hopefully Barbara Gordon will be the (non-romantic) female lead in The Batman. She's obviously long overdue.

      Dat still unfinished run was poison and the OG Silver is a bit of a Marry Sue. I ain´t necessary against this but why not go full Andrea Beaumont, just without her villain identity. They fulfill the same function.

    I could see Sienna being a Poison Ivy choice for sure. She's in a good age range for the role. I'd personally make my Ivy older just to show she's tangled with the Bat for a good part of those 20 years, but at 35, she doesn't have to be around for Batman's crusade from the start to be Ivy. She could have sprouted up halfway through his 20-year span. If she was part of Gotham City Sirens, I wouldn't be surprised. Who knows though.... her love for Catwoman could win the company over and allow her to have the role in GCS.

    I personally am more curious as to how Ben will choose to spinoff this Batman film. In fighting Deathstroke, will it be seen as in the past, before Batman v Superman? That would make sense. After it is the future Justice League I and II. It allows to him to be a little bit younger. But will it tie back into Batman v Superman? Will he treat it like BvS never happened and just acknowledge it as a DC Universe where the rest of the League exists?

    These are the questions I'm curious on from Ben and I am not even sure I want them answered until I see the film...

      If she's 35, and Batman has been fighting crime for 20+ years, that would put her in her teens when he started.... Roughly the right age for Babs, don't you think? Particularly since the Lego Batman Movie is going to give us "Barbara grown up" per the previews?

        Agreed. She is in the ball park age for Babs and has the look. As a redhead, I actually think she'd look like a better Babs than Poison Ivy. Sean Faris is my first choice for Nightwing and he is 34, so yeah I'm not against that at all. Great pick.

    Live By Night hasn't released yet where I live... But what exactly is wrong with the movie? I've heard from many people it's his "worst" film and disappointing, but still a good film nonetheless. So how come it has such a low rating? What were the issues?

      I've read those critiques elsewhere... Seems like you're not the only one saying this would've worked better as a miniseries. So I reckon the plot is the problem. Let's just hope Ben is able to write a good Batman script, after all, he wrote Live By Night.

    Ehh not really, how long has Bruce been Batman in the DCEU? 20 years? She's 35 so that would put Barbara in her teens when he first started.

        I agree, Barbara 10 years younger than Bruce sounds just fine, she always seemed to be the same age as Nightwing to me, and that is more or less a decade younger, and it would work perfect on screen.
        Also, in movies, age can be worked easily.

          Bruce is reaching 50 in the DCEU, 10, or almost 15 year gap sounds good.
          She could play an almost 30/something Barbara

            Well, that is up for debate, i was chatting with a friend about this subject, everybody wants an 'origin story' for every single character to be introduced, and with that comes a young actor to play it, but clearly DC, WB, Snyder and co. didnt went for that, they brought in a middle age Batman, which funny enough, fits the age i always thought the Batman persona/character was.
            A 31 year old Barbara, and a 33 year old Dick, (maybe a hidden proximity between them even) could work wonders on film.
            In the end, it was the interviewer who suggested it, not Ben, so most likely, is not happening.

            When they cast an older Batman, we have no choice that everyone else in the Batman Family is older too. Flash backs work just fine. That way we just get a few minutes of the kid/teen stuff and don't have to deal with teen stuff on the screen for the whole movie or two.

    He wasn't the one who suggested it tho, it was the interviewer. He was just responding politely. Couldn't have said, "Nah, she's not suitable for any character in my movie."

    Totally agree about Live By Night. Not a bad film by any means but definitely a weak one. Coulda been great but the story seemed overworked almost. Excellent ideas and there's some story points in the film that I thought were amazing but the film as a whole, I thought, wasn't executed as well as it should've been. 6/10 for me.

        All i can say is, i love that DC/WB are playing their cards close to their chest.
        The Doomsday trailer(in my opinion) ruined BvS. You literally saw the whole movie in a five minute trailer. Right down to the death of Superman.

        Really happy they're not making the same mistake. It was obvious they were a bit enthusiastic for BvS.............

          Alan is always very open minded and critical, to label him for only one comment, i don’t think that is how he meant it, its the attitude of the fan asking for a special treat for his supposed birthday, which is pretentious and pipe dreamy, but i read the whole story, its not even the fan's fault, the guy wrote to Mangold's and Zack's twitter like thousands of fans do, not waiting for a reply,
          it was Logan's director who decided to answer back and call out Zack.

    After watching Live by Night I am worried about Affleck writing dialogue for Batman. It was so clunky and I can only imagine that in a superhero setting.

      That would be a good fit, Ben Affleck's Batman is derived from Frank Miller's so it wont be too much of a stretch.
