New image from 'Justice League' shows Batman, Wonder Woman, and the team standing tall

USA Today premiered a brand new image from Justice League in their new "must-see films of 2017" article. Batman News was able to obtain the image in high resolution, you can check it out above!

We get to see a new look at Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Flash, and Aquaman inside the "Flying Fox" aircraft. Superman will be coming later, probably in the second half of the movie. Don't forget... he "died" at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The USA Today preview has some new quotes from director Zack Snyder as well. Check them out below.

With Superman (Henry Cavill) having laid down his life for Earth, Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) recruit a superteam to take on a new threat to civilization in Justice League. “It was all about the filling-out of this massive comic-book pantheon with the biggest and coolest heroes we could,” director Zack Snyder says of his group, which includes seafaring warrior Aquaman (Jason Momoa), speedy Flash (Ezra Miller) and high-tech Cyborg (Ray Fisher). Fans are getting a big character arc for Wonder Woman in 2017, beginning with her solo movie set during World War I. In it, she finds “humanity isn’t always the most kind and awesome thing,” says Snyder, also a producer on Wonder Woman. “It has its moments, but it can be brutal, and her coming to terms with that dichotomy is what we come to learn about her. And in Justice League, she’s fully evolved into someone who’s embraced mankind, partly through Superman’s sacrifice. She’s like, ‘All right, I’ve got to pick it up.’”

God I hope they don't mess it up. Im still looking forward to it. Its my most anticipated movie of 2017, but I'm going in with realistic and low expectations, no matter how hard that will be.

  Loki was great, the Chitauri army was a bit disappointing. Aliens or robots? It's like they pulled a Phantom Menace on us, by destroying the Mother Ship everything went off. That was pretty meh.

    Well, to be fair, JL will have the parademons, which will be exactly like the Chitauri army: faceless enemies that our heroes will destroy quite easily. It's the problem with armies like that in movies: never really make that much of a threat. Hopefully, Steppenwolf will be more than enough to beat their ass and create conflict and stakes.

        What do you mean? They were spreading out, but obviously the Avengers didn't want them to spread too far, so they tried to contain it, and tried to kill as many as quickly as possible. It really wasn't over just one street. That was more towards the end.

      Despite the obvious physical similarities when compared with the chitauri army, the parademons aren't controlled by a mothership so that means the Justice League has to defeat their general in order for them to retreat. Or else they'll just keep coming and that means prolonged battle sequences in the movie itself which i welcome.

        Sorry not quite the same. I mentioned that they have to defeat the general, Steppenwolf, which means more screen time for the villain of the movie and we get to see his powers and weaknesses whereas in Avengers all we got was foot soldiers.

        It comes down to the same thing, and I doubt Steppenwolf will have as much screen time as Loki did. He didn't just show up in the third act. He was featured throughout the whole movie, from the very beginning.

    Loki was lovable and entertaining, and Tom Hiddleston is perfect, but he didn't really do much or have much to say that had a lot of gravity in Avengers. There was also surprisingly little debate between him and Thor.
    I love the MCU, but it's biggest weakness for me so far has been villain development or impact.
    I mean, there was enough to enjoy the movie for sure, and I'll rewatch it happily, but I still craved more to chew on. At the very least, more of a hero vs villain perspective discussion, or more intense menace.

    One thing that really caught my attention from the scene descriptions after that expositional set visit was the mentioning of a "nest" of parademons! While the parademons obviously follow commands, at the end of the day they still have instincts - something the Chitauri army completely lacked - so I really look forward to this idea of having some of them hiding together in a nest like ambient in Gotham, maybe snatching some people from the city then drawing the attention of a certain police commissioner...

      I'm thrilled about this! It's going to make them so much more creepy and memorable and interesting. Feels a little more personal when they are stealing people away in the night to their secret nest.
      Instead of them just being action fodder, they get to have a bit of story. We'll see how they're made out of the poor, stolen people, what they do when they aren't just fighting our heroes, and the point of them in the overall structure of Darkseid's monolithic war machine.
      This is good world building.

    We have to build from somewhere. I think it's better to start small and build bigger gradually, than to blow your load right away and then eventually throw in some C-Listers later that people will complain are disappointing compared to the previous movies.

      If we were only getting one or even two JL movie(s), I would agree with you. This is an extended universe though, so we are afforded time to make that big event feel epic.
      I think a slow burn is needed for Darkseid. We need to fear him based on reputation, and that starts by exploring his minions and his army. It starts with introducing Cyborg alongside the mother boxes, etc. It's the right call.
      The movie can be big in other ways, and I hope it succeeds in focusing on developing the heroes properly.

      They should have gone the mech Batsuit route and built a little and augmented with CGI. Dark Knight Returns suit looked amazing in Dawn of Justice.

        Did you notice the 100% CGI armor of the Kryptonians in Man Of Steel? No. Now the same. One thing is that you do not like the design, and another CGI. The CGI does not pose any problem in order to recreate an armor/cyber-body.

        It's far more noticeable here.
        They did an amazing job in MoS (and with Batman in BvS), but Cyborg sticks out a ton by comparison.

        Nope. It wouldn't work. Batsuit is a armor. Unchangeable and permanent armor. Cyborg's armor isn't really armor. It's body, powered by Mather-box technology.

  I roughly agree. I'm not geeking out over it, but I do like it somewhat more than just 'eh'. I'm also having mixed feelings on Flash's suit.
  What I'm hoping is that these are prototypical suits - costumes in progress. Maybe Cyborg hasn't figured out his armor yet (as he does look a bit skeletal in places), which I would like to be more chunky and simplistic; less overly cluttered.
  And, with Flash, maybe this is an early, scrapped together suit before Bruce Wayne helps him make something more streamlined with his resources.

        Introducing GL would have been easy, they could have let him warn about the invasion. At the end of BvS, the Guardians send Hal back so he can prepare. Introduce GL, set up JL and the Knightmare scene wouldn't have been necessary in BvS.

Meh. I feel like Batman's armored look, Flash and Cyborgs costumes are still a little over designed. It starts to just look clunky and cheap. Also I feel like Flash's look appears way to heavy for someone that's suppose to be a speedster. All that would just create drag, especially for someone that's always trying to be the fastest. I know they give reasons, like these wires are to redirect the lightening and somethin somethin and this or that but I imagined his costume looking a bit more like Superman's. Slim and Sleek. HOPEFULLY he does get a new costume like everyone has been saying.
If they didn't want to go with something similar to this, the more slimmed down looked.

I mean I get that because it comes from a mother box that it's suppose to look all extraterrestial because of it, but it legit looks like the insides of a transformer. I wish it looked a little similar to the Jeagar Pilot costumes in Pacific Rim.

  the Flash suit has way too many details, is a flaw present in all superhero movies these days, they try to make them "modern" and "realistic" while totally missing the point of what makes the designs work in teh first place

    Yea, I feel like the suit should also be a representation of the Hero and his powers. This doesn't seem like that at all. I feel like they're trying to do this thing where they over explain the capabilities of the suit and how it works, where it should be as simple as how Edna Mode explained Dashes suit in The Incredibles.
    Edna Mode: "Your boy's suit I designed to withstand enormous friction without heating up or wearing out, a useful feature."
    I feel like they're so busy trying to make sure it makes sense on paper (even though it still doesn't lol) that they've also forgot about aesthetic, which is just as important.

Woah, beautiful image!!!!! I love the colors in it! only things that bothered me were the look of Cyborg - he looks too "transformers" - and Batman's goggles, I just find them ridiculous. Also, this is me bitching, I know, but I still don't see the Justice League we know and love when I look at this pic, hopefully only due to the lack of Superman and a little bit of green... :)
Never been more scared about a movie, expectations are under the ground, but hey, that's not always a bad thing!
P.S: WW perfect as always, now rocking her beautiful colors <3! And Aquaman is pure badassery!

    Let's see what use they have in the movie, but I'll always prefer a more simplistic look like the regular wholes for the eyes or even the kind of eyes he had in Assault of Arkham, kinda white but in a way you could still see his pupils from up close - even though I think I'm the only one that liked his eyes in Assault of Arkham haha!

  Key is to keep expectations realistic. You already know this won't be a very sophisticated film nor the smartest one. That should be good enough... It's Snyder, so we'll have some great looking action sequences, well shot too, and that's probably it.

      He is still the director. Sure, not everything about a movie should fall on the director's back, but he is taking the highest position when it comes to filmmaking, therefore it is more of his responsability than others. Affleck is not supervising anyone, he is merely executive producing the movie because he is now in charge of all things Batman at the DCEU, so he is overseeing his character in order to have a natural evolution when he makes his solo movie.

Cyborgs body will probably change some point in the movie, like it did in Justice League War. He'll probably have a battle mode or something, either way its fine to me. All that's missing is Green Lantern, that I'll never get over.

        You re right. On the arms its the light. However 2 things 1) look at the way the armor is tied to his left leg. The color of the "belt" pops out and has a strange texture to it. 2) even the color all over the plates look very silver. I'm probably panicking because george Clooneys "ice" suit is on tv
