Jason Momoa teamed up for a documentary titled "Canvas of My Life" about his love for his family, his hobbies, and acting. It's a beautifully done, and DC fans will be happy to know that it includes some new behind-the-scenes footage from Justice League!

Jason Momoa is well-known for his rugged exterior in Game of Thrones, but this film from Brian Andrew Mendoza and Carhartt investigates the man's lesser-known role: a father. Momoa credits his mother for imparting her love of the arts and sport to him, and now he aims to provide his children with the same foundation in an effort to develop their self-expression and creativity. "If I teach them to climb then they can push themselves to the limits; gracefully move through fear and doubt," he says in the video. Follow more from Momoa on Instagram here and Carhartt here.

    Hope they let Jason show all the heart he has. Henry always seems like a super cool and charming dude outside of the camera and that does not really translate into his Superman performance. They need to let the actor's natural personalities bleed into the performance a little more.

      His "interrogation" scene in MoS had some pretty good coolness and charm. Actually, I think he and Amy Adams have some nice chemistry on-screen.

      I hope when Superman comes back from the dead, in a full arc, he will come down from the clouds, with a beautiful smile, facing down towards the Justice League members , as they stand in shock, looking up to the sky ;)

        If that happens, I might tear up a little. The end of BvS really got me the first time I watched it, and a beautiful re-emergence like that would probably do the same.

      True, which I think it was the purpose to cast people close to the character's personalities. However, they have yet allowed the actors to do this for the most part.

    Looks freaking great! Aquaman will be the standout from JL, I think even more than the Flash.

      I really hope Aquaman and Flash play off of each other a lot. They have personalities on each end of the spectrum, and I think Barry could really get under Arthur's skin in a very humorous way.

      Cyborg will be Cyborg - all business.
      Wonder Woman will be up there with Batman because those two have been pretty awesome together so far. I know Bats and Supes have always been besties, but I'd love to see that reconfigured into Diana and Bruce; seems they're going that way, what with Superman not being around, and them being together for the recruitment stage.

        It seems that the way they're going is that Barry and Vic would be besties seeing as they're the two youngest members (my heart bleeds for Hal and Barry's friendship), and Bruce and Diana would be like the most respected members as well as co-leaders of the team. Arthur is probably too badass to hang out with anyone.

          Haha true. And yeah, I can see them putting the younger guys together. Just from that short clip we've seen, Cyborg looks to have the personality of Robocop with a little more humanity thrown in. That could be a nice play off of Barry's snarky wit; lots of unimpressed staring after a Flash joke.

        Batman and Superman have this love/hate relationship and I hope they play into that. Superman feels Batman is the most dangerous person in the planet, and Batman well we all know he has something for each of the Justice League members in case they go rouge. I really hope they show all this.

          Did you ever read the story where Wonder Woman takes out everyone in the League? It's pretty awesome. Also, do you know what Batman has for WW's rogue situation? I can't remember.

            Yes, also the almighty Tower of Babel story, would be awesome if at least they touch upon that. Batman injects Wonder Woman with some kind of technology in her ear, which causes her to be in some kind of virtual reality of some sort. In it, she's fighting an opponent she can't defeat, and due to her refusal to stop fighting she tires herself out and dies. Batman always somehow takes your biggest strength and makes it into your biggest weakness, this is a guy nobody wants to cross in any comicverse.

            I think Vandal Savage used Batman's way of stopping the JL in Justice League: Doom, it hey use that storyline for JL2.....whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

            I think the only contingency plan Batman had for Wonder Woman was Superman. I know that's the case in at least one story; I remember him telling Clark, "she doesn't have a kryptonite."

      I agree. He seems to be the strongest casting choice given the character's long history of embarrassment. I'm really glad they went with such a large, imposing, and intimidating presence for Aquaman.

        Hey, not classy, all franchises has past embarrassments, and Batman survives everything, he survived Schumacher, this is a new version, Aquaman never had a film, his embarrassment comes from cartoons.

          I'm not sure Dunkirk will hit high at box office. Except TDK & TDKR, nothing went high in BO from Nolan. His movies that deserved to hit BO hard, didn't. Batman Begins (best solo Batman so far), Interstellar, & Inception. Sad, right?

            Interstellar and Inception made lots of money. It just doesn't make stupid money stateside because his films are actually good.

            Dunkirk will have the One Direction fanbase running to theaters for Harry Styles. And the WWII nuts, and all the Nolan fans.

    Given the current environment, out of all the castings in the DCEU, Aquaman and Harley characters are interpreted by people who were born to play those roles, I can't remotely see anyone else but Momoa and Robbie in them.

      IDK about that... Still need to see Rogue One, plan to with my old man in the coming weeks and will see it in IMAX to catch Dunkirk.
      But the track record with directors is okay I guess.
      JJ Abrams did his very own take on Star Trek then played it safe with Star Wars.
      Gareth Edwards Godzilla film was an absolute joke for the first half. And the final fight barely redeemed it.

            Wait you do not think SS is hot garbage? You must have smoked some good shit before you screened that movie. If you that far stuck up the DCEU butt I do not know how to talk to you. I really cannot think of one area that SS was better than Force Awakens. It literally had to have a comic con reel explain to the audience who these characters are cause the movie had such thin characterization and plot lol.

            I think it's a CBM. All of it's problems can be pointed to most CBMs.
            The only legit problem for an SS fan is the plot doesn't at all work for the Squad. Save the world isn't at all what the Squad would do.
            But all actors NAILED their portrayal of the characters in the Squad.
            The movies soundtrack while sounded like it tried to be hip got the feel of the characters like Kehlani - Gangsta was perfect for Harley/Mr. J, it did suck they cut together a non abusive relationship.

            I'm not saying SS is better than TFA, I'm saying both films accomplished different things, and if you really want it's not hard to break TFA down bit by bit and laugh at the joke of a plot and characters that were exposed to the universe.
            Ren was the most pointless antagonist I've ever seen in a Disney film... And that's saying A LOT.
            Reys plot armor made her the most forced character in the film.
            Finn felt like he belonged in the universe even though his back story and reasoning was a total joke and made no sense.
            Poe was your "We tried to copy Han but failed" guy.

            Again...TFA was a solid Star Wars film but the new characters really ruined it. The sad part is the film had no Obi-wan/Qui-gon Jin... no beacon of hope amongst the mediocrity of the new characters. One thing SS did extremely well was establish the characters in the universe and make them still fun and show the backstabbing family that the Squad is about.

    If you look behind Momoa in picture 3, you see the lonely house with clothes hanging on the clothesline waving in the wind. Could it be that the scene in MoS when Clark comes out of the water and steals a pair of clothes be at the same location?? If so, could it be that it actually WAS Aquaman who saved him? Maybe I'm stretching, but even in the video, you see a shot thats resembles the same shot in MoS...

    Great documentary video. He is exactly as he appears and then some. A rogue and free spirit. A man's man. He's still an unknown to the majority of people. I have no doubt he'll give Aquaman justice and in doing so, he'll put his name on the map.
