on 'Monty Python' star John Cleese might have a role in 'Justice League'

John Cleese, best known from the Monty Python movies, may have landed himself a role in the DC Films universe!

Last week, Batman News reader Dennis Lamb noticed that the Batman v Superman UK account and set photographer Clay Enos began following John Cleese on Twitter. And now recently, Cleese followed both Ben Affleck and Justice League director Zack Snyder.

While Twitter activity may seem silly to some, it actually has proven to be useful. For example, Rick Famuyiwa began following a bunch of DC-related accounts before he was officially announced as the director of The Flash (though Famuyiwa left the project last month over creative differences).

        There was a line in a recent issue of Deathstroke where it was said that Slade and Wintergreen are roughly the same age, just life as a soldier was rough on Wintergreen and Slade's accelerated worked in his own favor.

      There's a scene in BvS, just prior to Bruce-Diana (Alexander's Sword) scene, where we see a guy on TV, resembling GG and ranting about Superman.

    Voice of Tomar-Re. Geoffrey Rush did a great job in Green Lantern though. Imagine if that movie was successful. I wonder what the DC Films slate would be looking like.

    There is some footage in it of a brand new open world game wb montreal is working on which currently has a batman icon on the pc. You even see a brand new batman in a brief gameplay sequence at the end. Interesting...

        apparently one is a damian wayne game with a old bruce wayne. But its not set in the arkham verse or at least it isnt right now. The other one is the Suicide squad game. The sequel to arkham origins. It was leaked and teased many times before, i just thought they would bring out the game when the movie drops but apparently it will be a little bit later

    I remember hearing that the movie would have scenes at the beginning that explain the mother boxes and an ancient conflict over them. Perhaps Cleese is doing the voiceover for that?

        I would be surprised if the (noticeably cheaper) pet movie made more money overall, due to the mech blitz the DCEU gets, but did you even see the CG film? I can barley remember it...

    I get that people are kinda excited for this for some reason but hes kinda a total shithead personality so wish he'd just not be in it at all. He made some shitty (basically racist) statement about Scottish people and then failed to realise the sarcastic response of a very well known Scottish comedian and I'd sooner see him drain away before being in a DC film
