Said Taghmaoui is the French actor who accidentally gave us our first look at Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman, and now he's back with a photo that probably won't get him in trouble.
In the new Instagram post, we see Taghmaoui alongside the lovely Gal Gadot in her Diana Prince costume. He also shared a photo with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.
Taghmaoui's role is unknown, but in an interview last year he said he's playing a superhero.

She looks great still nervous about her headlining her own movie but the trailers have done a little bit to ease my anxiety. We really will not know until the movie is released.

So he very well could end up being a superhero, but I feel like there is a language barrier with some actors who are told that they're going to be in a superhero movie, and that they will be one of the good guys, which then results in them saying they're actually a superhero. When in reality they're just a good guy who is on the actual superheros side. The one thing that gives hope that he is actually a Superhero character is that he said he was picked from a huge list of people and also had to get in good shape for the role. We shall see

There are still legitimate doubts however about her acting ability to carry a movie by herself.
Let's not bury our heads in the sand and be subjective when WW actually comes out.
The doubts (or dislike?) are mostly for her accent i think, only by checking out her years acting in israeli tv drama (a fact not everybody knows) its obvious that she has more range than she has been put on screen (the fact that many hollywood mega stars do the same character in every movie is also an indicator that we could be judging a bit too much on her).
Im not saying she is a high calibre, but WW is not Shakespeare either. She sold it to me in BvS.
The rest is up to Patty Jenkins to deliver the best of her performance in the final cut, and please, make it ONE cut.
I was sold back in 2015 at the Comic Con women of power panel (or whatever it was called). This girl is Wonder Woman! there's a reason why she got the role over all the actresses considered, she has that underscritible charisma and grace . She was born to play the role and her flaws as actress will line up perfectly with the "fish out if then water" of Diana.

This film is not for sure
All bets are off on the monumental JLA getting one coherent cut (Snydra is cursed i tell you), but WW indeed needs to keep it clean. The only other DCEU solo origin film MoS managed that just fine after all and only Shazam looks to be another origin film, from the ones announced. These iconic origins are cemented in stone by now. It can´t be that hard to land on the same page in the end.

That assessment still stuck around though. Gal 100% nailed the role but don´t expect a rousing reception any time soon for the solo film. Millions of people, and enough critics, competently wrote the DCEU off, and they will only show up to see their bias confirmed. I can already see the snappy judgments: "The new Angelina Jolie certainly makes a nice figure but she should be enjoyed in small doses, and not a separate film."
PS: I actually wanted her cast, she was my front runner.

He could be playing Ibis the Invincible, but that character seems far too powerful and obscure to muddy the waters of this film with. He would be a distraction.

I have little faith in this movie being good.Maybe because of DC's bad track record, false advertising in past trailers, Margot Robbie saying you shouldn't make a solo woman's movie for the sake of women's power, or maybe it's bc I don't think Gal Gadot is a good actress. Either way, I don't think it will get near 7/10 stars.
