Justice League of America adds two ninjas and a bastich!

Vixen, Killer Frost, the Atom, and the Ray were revealed a few weeks ago, but since then, fan speculation about the rest of the roster has been in high gear. At last, the guessing games are done and we have a clear picture of what to expect.

Bats and Canary are easy (but welcome) additions, but Lobo is just the sort of bonkers choice that many were hoping for. This is not lost on Orlando:

For some people, Lobo will be a hero. For others, he'll be an anti-hero. It's moving past these black and white definitions and realizing that you have to have a malleable idea to serve everyone instead of just the people in the mainstream. Lobo, I think there's more to him than ever before.

  There was a cute video on YT of a kid unboxing all the happy meal toys that made me excited LOL. But ugh, so little news trickling out, I just want to lay my eyes on the show already, I have high hopes for it.

  You're not. I can imagine Lobo joining the team purely out of spite, which is the direction I hope Orlando takes it. It's an oddball, left-field choice that was made for a reason, and I'm really interested to see what that reason was.
  Granted, it could just as easily implode and turn into another "Harley Quinn isn't that bad a person," but I'm optimistic.

    And Lex. Remember Lex? Remember how we all thought his tenure in JL was temporary, and that his true nature would soon show itself? Well it didn't. At this point, it's pretty clear that he is staying.

      Lex is a strange case these days. The idea of him "playing hero" while still being self-serving was a great idea, there just wasn't any follow-through. Action Comics and Superwoman have dropped hints about where his story might be headed, which is great because right now the character is dead in the water.

This isn't Crystal or Louise.
Caitlin has always been a tragic villain who's not irredeemably bad. She even sided with the good guys during the Crime Syndicate invasion back in Forever Evil.
And, since one of the themes of Rebirth was said to be redemption, she's a good candidate.

I'm in! I guess they'd be an extention of the Justice League, so Batman's inclusion makes sense. Black Canary was a good call. Supergirl and/or Martian Manhunter would've been cool additions. And I guess skinny New 52 Lobo, either died during Rebirth, or hit the weight room.

So come this title, every month will have Bruce Wayne Batman in Batman x 2, Detective Comics x 2, All-Star Batman, Justice League x 2, Trinity and JLA, which I think I read as being twice monthly. I'm in. If Nightwing wasn't in Titans, I'd have loved him to be on this team instead of Batman.

I would have used Nightwing or Batwoman as the leader but the team itself is very promising. What i don´t get is how the "America" part factors in. Most of the characters have JLI equivalents btw.

It would have been great seeing Nightwing leading this team. They should have called it Justice League Action like the new cartoon.
