Zack Snyder shares photo of the 'Justice League' Batsignal for Batman Day

Director Zack Snyder is currently celebrating on the set of Justice League in London, and just shared a cool picture of himself standing in front of the Batsignal.

Update: In a follow up tweet, Zack Snyder revealed the first look at J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon!

According to Justice League set visit reports, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Cyborg all join Commissioner Gordon on a rooftop by the Batsignal at some point in the movie.

Have a great rest of your Batman Day! Hopefully we hear something from Batman himself, Ben Affleck, at some point too.

  I find it necessary to support everything they're doing because I agree with it. I don't believe they're running them into the ground. I believe they're putting those characters through a crucible. There's a difference, in my opinion. At the end of the day, it's all subjective. Just let it go. It's just a movie. Even if it was as you say, even as a die hard fan, I wouldn't be bothered by it. life is too short to be bothered by such things.

It worked in BvS. The symbol was distorted on the clouds by still had an bat shape. The signal in general is useless on a clear night.

    All in all BvS was a mediocre movie and that's the hard truth, if Snyder fucks up Justice League then he's out of the game. Strange thing is the more i watch Man of Steel the more epic this movie becomes.

      Well i do not completely agree with you on all points but what should've been the most epic superhero movie of all times was a failure on many points. You would expect that with the title of the movie and after 3 years of filming.

I'm sorry that I can't write a whole book about why you get all these things wrong. Especially when the MCU doesn't get criticized for the exact same and gets a pass in every category BvS gets crucified for.
About Batman "forced" into acting out of character. No offense, but you just don't get it, Batman is a multi-layered character.
He's done things in the comics you have no idea of, even me. We're introduced to a veteran Batman, with a long history of criminal fighting and a dark past. Just look at the destroyed Wayne Manor and let's not forget Todd's death. We're at a point at his life where basically he gave up on his goal, till Superman's sacrifice renew that hope and purpose.
You have issues with him killing? Guess what, Batman killed in Burton's and Nolan's. Let me guess, we roll our eyes because NOT Snyder....
Seriously though... you have problems with Luthor going that far? That's nothing compared to what he did in the comics.... not even close.
Would you like him to be a weak ass minded villain, with no specific purpose in his life, who gets distracted by a random dance off or something?
Call the movie depressing all you want, but think about this alien guy showing in our world like a God. Getting judged or criticized by us for every heroic act of his. This movie is pretty much a reflection of our fucked up reality. Even the characters call the events and Superman controversial. So WE DO. The DCEU takes risks. Something the MCU doesn't, even after 13 movies deep.
Here's a tiny review of the UE from someone trustworthy who understands the characters, the concept and the depth of the movie. This guy gets it. Not saying that you're stupid or anything, but you think the way you do, and I can't change that.

  I agree with you on all points.
  For me, the only reason I enjoyed BvS UC was because of the actors and actresses (except JE, his Luthor was a big bag of fail).
  The only reason that I don't hold the script in too much contempt and was able to remain entertained is, technically, all points did link. A did go to B, which lead to C, etc. That, however, doesn't make for a good script at all but does keep it from being total garbage. I agree with you, they could have done so much better.
  That being said, I thought it was infinitely better than the script for TDKR. Killing and all. Wth was that crap? As far as I'm concerned, the only live action Batman movie that got Batman right was TDK and maybe BB, though Bruce's training only coming from one place really pissed me off but whatever.
  Nolan's brother (whatever his pointless name is) and Goyer really need to just retire from screenwriting. Just have Timm and Dini fix this crap, WB.

    I'm sorry, but it was not better than films like Argo and Django. Better than the Avengers? Sure, but WB could've just re-released an Adam West Batman episode and succeeded on that front.
    TDKR featured a whiny bitch Bruce, made zero sense when it came to the military and CIA (not that BvS did either, but that's another story), idiotic medical ailments and remedies (sorry, I'm familiar with medicine), psychic Robin, psychic Bane, plot holes out the yang, missing Batman in Batman movie, inept stock exchange officials, terrible fight scenes (Nolan isn't really good with these in general and he admitted as much after complaints with BB, so I blame this on fans), and whiny bitch Bruce (did I say that one already?). Even Han Zimmer phoned it in on the score.
    No thank you, TDKR by every definition is a far worse film and Batman film.

Maybe because he isn't an actor, has never acted, and probably can't act for shit (especially since he can't ever finish a proper sentence when talking as well)?
