It's Throwback Thursday, or #TBT as the kids on social media call it, and Gal Gadot has shared a new behind-the-scenes photo from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!
Gadot clearly had a blast playing the role of Wonder Woman, and is all smiles in between takes of saving Batman from Doomsday.
Gadot even added in some hashtags for the Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition Blu-ray. If you haven't checked out the 3 hour cut yet, it's available on Amazon now.

Great photo! Gal remains charming and beautiful as ever...And the Ultimate Edition of BvS is the only one that exists as far as I'm concerned!
I'm puzzled why they released the theatrical cut at all
I know it's been mentioned about fitting more showings in - but it's a bad cut; and if that's the only version people have seen, then you can't blame them for saying it was a mess
The only thing I chalk it up to is that they were freaked out by the much better 3 hour cut, and felt that they were doing the lesser of two evils by putting out what in their minds was a safer version of the film. Lesson learned, you'd hope.

I don't think the movie is perfect by any means, but cutting half hour out is like trying to read a book with a load of the pages missing
Totally agree. The poor man got a lot of bashing for a thing that obviously he had his hands tied up (and he didn't even complain a little bit and keep on working). I'm sure that he has his faults, but if WB had left the movie alone the reception would have been a lot better (although I personally liked it and think that the UC is a great movie).
After watching the uncut version; I'm looking forward more to the justice league when it comes out. It's clear Snyder and crew have character arcs over multiple films in mind that started with mos, rather than dump it all in over 90 minutes

When they cut the movie, who's responsible for it? The director or the editor?
It can be a combination depending on the studio mandate. Normally the director will work with the editor to get the best possible takes etc; but outside pressure can take things out of both of their hands
In this case the 3 hour version on blu-ray/dvd was what Snyder wanted people to see - whereas the 2.5 cinema version is what the studio thought they could get away with and make more money

It pains me. She is so radiant here. In the hands of a capable director, she and Cavil would have created a legend. And they still can.
I've been rooting for a Supes and Wonder Woman union myself.
Amy Adams is only contracted to reprise Lois through JL. Might happen in the MOS sequel.
Good to know Nick. And the MOS sequel would be a perfect time to do it.
Team up movies seem to be the trend right now, so who knows? Might be a good way to continue both their story-lines in between Justice League films.
Plus it would be a team up like no other with
two actual superheroes romantically involved.
Clark Kent is "dead" to the world in the movies
now and maybe a heroic demise for Lois Lane in
The Justice League would allow for a logical pairing
of Superman and Wonder Woman in the Supes sequel.
BvS UE is a masterpiece to me. To each his own.
It's not a masterpiece but it's far more better than the theatrical version. They still had 4 hrs of material and failed to assemble the best superhero movie of all time.
That's the beauty of personal opinion. People view art differently all the time. To me, BvS UE is high art and I'm not wrong. For you, it's not. And you're not wrong either.
C'mon man didn't you see that some CGI was failing hardly like the crashed World Engine and the cameos of the metahumans.
The only thing that looked kinda wonky was Zod's ship cutting through the buildings like a hot knife in butter in Metropolis but then I remind myself that I'm not an engineer and have no way to know what that would actually look like.
Also, questionable CGI is not going to break a movie for me. I was 8 years old when Batman '89 came out and saw the original Star Wars trilogy at an even younger age. I've grown up to see the evolution of effects in modern tent pole films. What we have today is the best it's ever been so I don't get caught up in that because I remember how (what we consider to now be) crappy CGI has looked over my last 35 years on this planet.
The cameos of the meta humans felt forced the first time I saw in theaters. Not so much the second time, and upon 2 viewings of the UE at home, I love it.
I urge you to put on some glasses next time you watch BvS.

Look, the point is, neither of us are wrong on our opinions with the film. People perceive things differently and that's ok. If everyone all liked or all disliked the same things, the world would be pretty boring.

In all seriousness though. I highly recommended to check out Fast 5 / 6 (+7). The films got "good" then and i thus wanted to see Gal cast as Wonder Woman since 2011. Even for the canned Amazon show.
Someone agreed with me. Fast 1 (Ayer wrote it) is ok too, but itยดs ultimately a lesser Point Break rip-off.

In other news, Suicide Squad has officially done better than Batman v Superman at the box office. I don't mean it has made more money in general, what I mean is that half of Batman v Superman's domestic revenue was from it's opening weekend. Suicide Squad, which is on day 20, has already passed that mark. It could become a good success in the studio's eyes, therefore the DCEU might not need a reboot. Fingers crossed for Wonder Woman!

The box office generated for the first three movies alone secures that no reboot is needed. There is a massive fanbase for the DCEU. Can't wait for WW!
No I'm not crazy. I definitely don't want a reboot, but several people online have wished for the DCEU to get a reboot after the critical failure of BvS and SS. While I do enjoy the DCEU films, I wouldn't call any of them "masterpieces." I do love most of the characters and the concept behind these films. I'm just genuinely fearful of the Studio chickening out.
Gal is my Hollywood girl-crush. She's so beautiful, but not in an extravagantly showy way. I always feel that her smile can radiate and brighten her surrounding. This is why she's Wonder Woman.

What was once the biggest casting question mark in the DCEU, is now arguably the favorite actor/actress by many. She's just perfect.

Gal was a combat instructor (!) in the IDF, so her military service was more hardcore than mine, and she was great in FF 5 / 6. I will thus never get that particular doubt. Letยดs wait how her movie will be received by Mr. Tamato too, there are no sure bets with the DCEU.
I for the record have never doubted a DCEU casting choice and like all. Sklipnot is my the biggest "disappointment" so far, of all people. The comic version had a bit of an arc to him but that is arguably not an acting problem.
Does anybody think we'll get her villain Cheetah on the big screen?

I'm usually extremely reserved in following celebrity beauty trends. But, man, in all objective thought and emotion, I can't think of anyone other woman who has Gal's pure natural beauty and radiance. She's the closest thing to perfection. A Goddess. I honestly can't be happier she's embodying Diana. Her acting skills are debatable. But her sheer presence, grace, and beauty are beyond anything I've seen capable of fulfilling the role.
The same smile that Diana makes, after her and Bruce have just finished consummating their alliance together...
BVS still sucks. Keep watching it thinking something will click. But it sucks.
