Jared Leto brought Jimmy Fallon a creepy gift from The Joker

By now you've heard the stories over and over again. Jared Leto was in character as The Joker 24/7 while shooting Suicide Squad, and gave his co-stars some strange gifts. Everything from a live rat for Margot Robbie, to bullets for Will Smith, and even used condoms.

Last night Leto was a guest on The Tonight Show and brought a gift for host Jimmy Fallon, which he said was from The Joker. When Fallon opened the box, a live snake slithered out! It was just a baby snake, but Fallon was clearly afraid of it, and Leto had to get it under control. Check out the madness in the video above.

Later on in the interview, Leto said he feels that The Joker is a "sweetheart" and he completely fell in love with the role. Check out the rest of the interview below.

Maybe a little warning of a Joker/Harley Quinn scene in the bottom video, in case no one wants to see any scenes u til the movie showing. That scene made me wished I could watch the movie right now though.

well I mean they basically say, "this is a scene where...". I think if people don't want to see anything they can easily just hit pause, its not like the video unexpectedly opens with a scene from the movie

Although I think Leto looks great and I think he's gonna kill it, I would have loved to see Zack Snyder's version of the Joker.

    Ben and Zack became buddies during BvS and he set up Batman´s journey, so i expect his creative spirit to loom large over the Citizen Cape series.

Zack is the creative mind behind the entire DCEU. He most likely came up with the idea and concepts for all the characters. These are all his stories and they all connect to his universe. He's producer on every single DCEU movie. And he even helped write the original story of WW, among others. So this Joker is Zack's Joker.

  I don´t think that SS is "his" baby, Zack´s production role is reduced on this movie and especially this Joker is an Ayer credited idea. He perfectly fits in his filmography.
  Zack´s high creative role in the DCEU is correct though.

    It does make sense. Cesar Romero wasn't a great actor yet can't even remember if batman was even on screen with him! I'd also bet Di Caprio, Di Niro, Depp would be nominated for Oscars in the role as joker. Even competent actors like Le Boeuf , Cumberbatch or Hiddleston could play the part easily. Probably a crap actor like Orlando Bloom might even be able to do it.

I like that Leto corrected him on the note. I can see how he won an Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club. A great movie, that one.

The majority of the critics are overwhelmingly slamming this it seems, and no , I don't think Marvel are 'paying' these critics .

It is however a real shame as I thought Suicide Squad would be the antidote for the BvS disaster that was Zack Snyder. It seems anything associated with ZS and DC is a disaster apart from their exciting trailers. DC should charge people to watch their trailers instead as they seem to have a lot more going for them than the movies....

Yeah, because they are struggling so much with their competition, right? They are doing spectacularly, with dc getting good or bad reviews (the dark knight rises was released even after the Avengers, and it got the best reviews out of any comic book movie since it's release).
