   I am almost certain that the Bruce Wayne to Arthur Curry, "so I hear you can talk to fish" line will not be in the final cut of the movie. I believe it was just a throw in scene to show some humor.

      I haven't watched Ultimate Cut yet, so I don't know if it's in there, but I saw the magnificently realized Gotham in those pics and was very sad that we never really saw it in the movie.

   Batman literally tells the Joker that he's not gonna kill him, he wants to rehabilitate him. And then after some corny joke by the Joker, Batman OUT OF NOWHERE starts laughing, apparently driven insane, and ambiguously kills the Joker?! That's unacceptable and embarrassing. LOL Although it didn't serve the main story AT ALL, at least Batman boning Babs, actually makes sense. It's the infatuated college student, getting it on with the ultra cool professor.

      Batman told the joker that it was boiling down to one of them killing the other, and that he wanted to help him. The joker said that it was too late to help, declining batmans offer. It wasn't out of nowhere. Batman said multiple times what was going to happen. In fact, I wouldn't even call that foreshadowing, they just straight up told us what was gonna happen. Also, the beauty of this scene in the movie (and also the source material, where this scene comes from) is that they leave it ambiguous. Batman might have just tranquilized the joker and taken him to Arkham.

   I've really enjoyed watching WW Reaction videos made by women. The emotion shown gives the movie an entire different level of importance.

   I really liked the killing joke.

   I thought the prologue was ok. Didnt mind batgirl crushin on batman and them having sex. I never really saw batman as a father figure to batgirl. Batman dated batgirl in 66, BTAS, batman beyond comic, etc. And sure thats weird to have sex with your partners daughter but it happened in the flash. Age wise batgirl is like 21 batman is like 35. Gordon is like 50 something so its not like they are the same age. My biggest gripe with the prologue like other is that its disconnected from the story. Would have prefered more gordon/babara/batgirl interaction. I do love the discussion batman has wither her about the "abyss". By the end of the movie she has completely stared into it but isnt jaded or cold but came out in a way stronger. In a sense you could argue that the joker is also trying to drive her crazy.

   I dont get most of the criticism for the killing joke part of the movie. I re-read the killing joke an hour before watching so it was fresh and it is a faithful direct adaption. I do agree that the joker reveal could have been better and more intense. i thought the animation had some scenes that were really bad and a few that were really great and the rest were standard good.

    i know you both did not the killing joke, but bruce timm said that he wanted it to feel it was like you were watching 2 different movies so if you different like the first part of the movie you can skip to chapter 5 and start the killing joke part.
