15 Years of Coverage (2010-2025)
It's July 5th, and you know what that means... we're exactly one month away from the August 5th release of Suicide Squad!
Warner Bros. has kicked off the official countdown with a new banner featuring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.
The hype train will keep on rolling this month, with the Suicide Squad having a huge presence at San Diego Comic-Con in just about two and a half weeks from now.
Let me know how excited you are for Suicide Squad in the comments below!

Can't wait for comic con this year! Footage from WW, JL and hopefully a Solo Batman release date followed by the Squad. This is gonna be a good month!
Joker and Harley are obviously big as a DC fan to have them on the big screen together. But honestly, I've been wanting Croc in a movie since the Nolan Trilogy. I cannot wait to see how creative they are with him.
Manbat and Black Mask are on my list of villains that i hope to see eventually
+1 for Man-Bat!
I want clayface.
Yes Clayface is another i would love to see
Bane might be too soon 2012 was the last time we saw a live action version of Bane
Catwoman i want to see because i didn't like Anne's version same with Talia i thought she was wasted in DKR
Ra's al ghul i want that classic green robe look that we saw in BTAS and Under The Red Hood
Basically i want new villains or ones we have seen before but done right like Catwoman Ra's Bane(to some extent design and voice was my biggest issue) Mr Freeze Poison Ivy
Not enough color.
Not enough smiles.
Great White Savior.
still patiently waiting presale tickets seriously i would buy my tickets a year in advance if i could
Squad!! Let's go n save the univ... DC universe
...........
So immature, the both of you.
poyi thooreda vayyenki
Ayer is specialised for friendship between guys. All of his movies portrayed this. An the man knows how to use a gun..harsh times, end of watch, fury are examples.Thes story got this all.that's why Ayer is perfect for this
End of watch brought a tear to my eye, great film.
One month got me like http://66.media.tumblr.com/...
Shut up, Carl.
I still find it hard to believe how much I'm looking forward to see Jai Courtney as Capt. Boomer
So we can start to see that Harley Quinn is here to stay in the EU....and I ain't mad about that! Lol
what?
EU = Extended Universe.
European Union, you village!
There are many EU like Star Wars etc.
True dat. I didn't feel like typin' "DCEU" when I made my earlier post. Lol
Can't wait!
...
If they do a sequel, who would you guys like to see in the next roster? Personally for me Killer Frost, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Mirror Master, Solomon Grundy and Cheetah.
I'm excited for the movie, and for most part I think it looks like a very good action movie with the right amount of dark comedy.
But I'm just curious what people think would happen if it were bad and/or underperformed at the box office. I think the latter is much more possible and troubling for WB. Even if it underperforms though, it's unlikely it will be a flop.
It has a good release date (the same as Guardians of the Galaxy, with not much competition besides Jason Bourne which comes out the week before), and looks and is a very different type of super hero film, so it's not going to be so affected by super hero fatigue (which is in full effect this year, and Apokalipse already felt it). I'd be very surprised if it flopped, and I think it would only happen if it ends up being a bad movie (which doesn't look like it is). What could make it underperform is the budget. A movie like this shouldn't have a budget over 150 million (no major super heroes to draw people in besides a small appearance from Batman, no high salary actors, since Will Smith has fallen of the blockbuster wagon) but a few months ago one of the actors said the budget was like 200 million. That seems way too much, and needs to do very well just to break even... Let's hope for the best.
Honestly, after everything that's gone on since March 25, I really wonder why any well-meaning person (i.e., not trolls) who doesn't actually have a direct financial stake in the movie even worries about whether a film "underperforms at the box office." I don't think I have any TWC stock in my 401k, and I know I've never been invited to buy into RatPac, so... why should that matter to me?
Bc a lot of people want to see more films made and underperforming could possibly hinder that.
Anyone knows when the first reviews will be in?
Probably a week before release.
Agreed.
I just hope this movie doesn't turn out to be a Harley Quinn prequel.
Killer Croc has me the most excited i'm glad they didn't go Arkham with his design the hoodie i hope he doesn't wear that much
I hate to be "that guy," but it's Harley's live action motion picture debut. She hass been portrayed in live action television shows before.
