BTW, animation is more fluid than we saw in the trailer. Still a bit stiff, but nothing a true Joker...I mean, Batman fan can't forgive.

A-level animation quality, a true "OVA" of the old breed, and i fully expect TKJ to be this year´s beast comic adaptation or animation. Morrison also did a cool remake of this with a Dead Man's Hand twist:

The movement is amazing, most current anime film look worse. Just look at the Persona 3 films, or don´t... This ain´t cinema quality but i deliberately used the Japanese OVA term.
The budget for these film is rumored to be 3,5 mil. and 1 ep. of the above average looking One Piece costs 100.000$.
The movement is one of the worst things about it. just watch the couple last dc movies, and see the trailer for this one and compare. It's not fluid, at all.
The first trailer was in slow-motion, eh. The most recent trailer plays in full-speed.
the animation is the same as most of the other DC animated features, which is alright, but definitely not as good as it could be

Damn has this scene got some creepy vibes to it. The music is excellent, and the art really puts you off. It's wonderful.
They show the same Batman walking scene that looked bad before. It does look like they slowed it down and it flows much better now. The animation is good. But the art is what stands out the most.

I can't believe I've had a copy of The Killing Joke sat on my shelf for almost a year now and I still haven't read it. I think I burnt myself out a bit from reading so much Batman from the new 52. That and I had exams.

I love the constant change of color palettes reminiscent of the original comic's coloring. So surreal, so deranged. So ominous.

Ugh, the animation is so... not good... the voice acting is superb though.
I think I said this when the trailer came out, but now I'm certain that there wasn't a problem with the animation, it was just that they slowed it down in the trailer to give it a creepy vibe, which caused it too look choppy

When Batman's walking down the hallway, after he passes Dent, he's drawn at a tilted angle that doesn't match up with the angle the hallway itself is drawn at. I know it's a nitpick, but it pulled me out of the moment. Feels weird to look at.
I wish they had the Dark Knight Returns animations.
Loving everything expect the animation , just not felling the art style .
