Ben Affleck says 'Justice League' is coming to San Diego Comic-Con next month

Why do celebrities make the big bucks? Well, for a lot of reasons. But one of them is because they can't go anywhere without being mobbed by fans! Ben Affleck took a break from filming Justice League to return home to Los Angeles for Father's Day over the weekend, and the paparazzi caught some of it on video.

Affleck was casually chatting with fans as he signed their Batman pictures, and revealed that Warner Bros. is bringing Justice League to Comic-Con!

"Will you be at Comic-Con, sir?," one fan asked. "Yeah, we'll be there," Affleck replied.

Warner Bros. already announced that they're bringing Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman to San Diego Comic-Con next month, leaving some fans to wonder if there was any room for the cast of Justice League. According to Affleck, there is, and they'll be there in July!

Speaking of Justice League, some members of the press were invited to the set in London last week. They have some big news coming tomorrow morning, Tuesday, June 21st. Stay tuned to Batman News to hear all about it!

I thought it was a bit soon for them to be at Comic-con this year, since they still have next year. I guess they'll be going all out with Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League.

Why not? JL is coming out in November so we will have trailers and teasers before next year Comic-con, so it would be good to see them this year, BvS was on three Comic-cons so its not that soon to have JL there, but probably main focus will be Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman

      Yea, I mean I'm not complaining. I just wasn't expecting it and then since they're sharing the panel with other WB properties like 'Fantastic Beast', it'll probably be a small amount of time.

    They've been shooting for a couple months. I say it wouldn't be too implausible if they showed some footage. Hell, I'd go crazy even if the cast just came out to say Hi. It's the Justice League for heaven's sake. We've been waiting our whole lives for a live action JL

      Only if they shot footage specifically for comic con, which would be a waste of money considering they have movies to advertise that come before it and that could use the hype... Maybe some images, or the actual costumes they'll be wearing in the film.

BvS did the same, two years before its release. Zack brought Ben, Henry & Gal.....I remember he showed off a tiny clip (which didn't end up in the film). Also that was the first time we saw Gal in full costume

  I disagree. Fans of the DCEU (Man of Steel) pretty much liked it, but DC COMIC fans for the whole thought it was garbage. I've seen many major comic book websites and forums trashed by hardcore fans, it's crazy.

      If you are as much of a Comics fan as you say, then you should have had no problem with either MOS or BVS. Both films were heavily influenced by the comics. Almost to a fault.

      I think its a build-up to their personalities, i think it could get boring if they started a whole slate of films already in their complete and finished character arc in the first movie, There's a progression in the motives for all of them (Batman was at his darkest, Superman inspires him at the end).

      Is that why so many DC comic writers and artists complained about MoS and BvS? Plus this comic fan didn't want a Lex pulling a Killing Joke reference, Jimmy Olsen getting shot in the head and Supes not caring, and the death of Superman story tacked on for the last twenty minutes.

    Dc fans are different from marvel fans in that the majority of them where fans of the comics prior to the release of the DCEU, meaning the have higher standards, whereas a large majority of marvel fans became fans after the release of their cinematic universe/movies which means they're more accepting of the MCU's decisions. My analysis anyways lol BTW loved Batman v superman and zach snyders take on the universe and I've been a batman fan from the age of 6 lol

      Just trying to clarify; are you stating the majority of the Marvel movie fans became so after the MCU gained steamed or Marvel fans in general?
      Also, I don't believe the Batman and movies of the 90s & Nolan's trilogy gained its box office numbers & popularity by comic book readers. Sure they help, but if you make niche movies, expect lower box office numbers when only the fans show up.

    I'm a big fan of Man of Steel and found BvS hugely disappointing. There was much within the film that I enjoyed but as a whole it wasn't very good.

      Yeah, pretty much. Although there are fans of BvS who rave about it and think it's one of the boldest comic book films ever made. I have to be honest and admit there may be some bias from them for DC films (they openly critique Marvel/non DC properties). But yeah, the fandom is still well and truly there for Zack & DC

      Man of Steel got a much better response from critics, and had a positive overall score on both metacritic and rotten tomatoes. BvS didn't, in either of them, and got a worse imdb score and cinemascore than Man of Steel.

    Ive always viewed the movies as a separate earth, theres earth 1, 2 and theres also the movie universe which i don't think has to follow any comics religiously. Like Jimmy Olsen was shot in the head by Joker in injustice

      I just hated Zack's reason, which according to an Empire Podcast it was to prepare us for how cynical his world is. But that can't work when the scene introducing himself as such was cut, so it turned into a sadistic Easter egg.

  I didn't like MOS. I didn't like BVS either. Should I hold out hope for JL? I'm going to wait it out and watch on tv. All the hype is for marketing and comic con used to be fun. Now it's just full on marketing blitz.

      I liked Marvel's Civil War, but also want to give DC a chance. I just wish WB would lighten it up a little with these films. My life is already depressing and I want to go to the movies to get away from real life, not see the same type of dark mood there. And I'm not asking for love interest. Hate the Lois love idea-she got on my nerves in BVS, just maybe humor and connection in the storyline that makes sense. Action like a James Bond Superhero movie version.

  Maybe in this website, where there's propensity for fanboys that would pretty much love anything they would throw at them. Meanwhile, the general audiences weren't that impressed, and that reflected on the movie's word of mouth. There's people who hated and it, and loved it, but in the middle, where sane people stand, it was a very mediocre response.

  WB marketing was top notch until they released the 2nd trailer(Dec 2015) after the Epic Comic con trailer ! But looking at the Marketing of Suicide Squad ,I am pretty sure they have learned from their mistakes. Can't wait for Justice League !! :)

I think it'll be the same as last years comic con Suicide Squad. They meant to show that trailer only to Comic Con but it got leaked. I think it'll be something smaller maybe like a 30 second shot of JL members assembling or something. Nothing much, they'll save the rest for next years comic con.

I hope they handle this movie more like they've been handling SS than the way they did with BvS, I like way they've been advertising the movie, it's really cool, creative and they don't give away too much. I still don't know what's actually going on, it's like what happened with Interstellar.

Might as well and why not?! There's no looking back anymore with Snyder, there's no point... Here's what we can all expect, awesome pics and maybe some awesome teaser followed by a multitude of people bringing up BvS and divisive opinions that come with it. I 100% believe Ben will be announcing Batman solo movie coming in Oct, 2018 since his film Live By Night has now been moved up from 2016 to 2017, it just makes too much sense now, from JL straight to The Batman!

THey aren't going to address it they are too stupid to even acknowledge the fact that their movie was a major dissapointment . Hell they even convinced their blind fanboys to believe in a crazy ass conspiracy against snyder and dc comics led by disney . Just expect a couple of nice looking pics, amazing teasers, snyder coming out like he was a boss and talking about how deep and inteligent his movies are and how JL is going to be a hit.....but we know better now don't we ?

  I think that nothing's gonna change much unless Batfleck changes something about the execution of JL as an EP. Only 2 or 3 trailers and NO MAJOR SPOILER in the trailer to get a good marketing. People wanna be surprised at the cinema.

    Considering they had a full year marketing this movie, the fact that the two biggest super heroes were on screen in live action for the first time, and the 400 million dollar budget, that was only able to make 871 mil at the box office, it was a huge disappointment in the financial sense. The 44 metascore and 27 tomatoscore only further this argument.

      I give sites like rotten tomatoes zero weight. I don't use those sites or critics to dictate what I see or don't see.
      How many movie companies would love to garner $871 million at the box office? Would $900 million made it a success? What about $1 billion? Would it have to equal Age of Ultron cash or beat Marvel's Avengers? At what point would the movie unquestionably be a success?
      The movie currently ranks 5th for top grossing movies this year; probably end in the top 10. The movie earned a profit.
      If home media sales skyrocket, wouldn't that show how successful the movie is?
      Everyone could've hoped for better numbers, but stating "major disappointment" without establishing a base for success seems overly exaggerated.

    Lets be honest here, BvS should have crossed a billion EASY, granted it did make 800M with such shitty reviews but still, common it has the world's two biggest heroes.

      I think the issue was the tone more then the reviews. Transformers movies gets crappy reviews, but DoM made $1.1 billion.
      I don't have an issue with a darker tone, but I've got friends who wouldn't take their kids to the movie because of it. That hurts box offices when an important section of the audience isn't getting there. Look at all the movies crossing $1 billion. How many excludes younger audiences?

      It appealed to all 4 markets. People were going multiple times & bringing their kids. I don't believe it was a mistake blood wasn't added & the death senses were off camera.
      Plus, Ledger's death didn't hurt TDK.
      TDKR rode the coattails of TDK.

We all know that justice league is going to be a lot different from Batman vs Superman dawn of justice in every way possible and be the movie you feel that Batman vs Superman dawn of justice should have been like this one is moving forward with Batman and Superman the way it should be and make up the difference when you see the movie in November 2017

A dark screen...then you hear a Bruce Wayne monologue ...music builds...it reaches its peak...the picture becomes clear...we see Batman recruiting Green Lantern and Flash...then a quick cut of scenes showing Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg in action...then the music stops...screen goes black...and the trailer ends with a quick flash showing Superman is alive
