Margot Robbie thinks Harley Quinn is the best character in 'Suicide Squad'

Margot Robbie is featured on the latest cover of Australian magazine Oyster, and inside she talks about how much she loves her role as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad.

"For the first time, I thought that I had the best character in the movie. I wouldn't trade my character in Suicide Squad for anyone else's," Robbie told Oyster. Robbie is also a big comic book fan now.

"The comics are rad. I hadn't read any growing up, but now I'm obsessed. I read them in my own time. We went to Comic-Con this year and I didn't get to be in and amongst it because we were shooting, but the energy is insane. People are nuts. I could go as Harley Quinn in the actual costume from the movie, and somebody there would have a better one."

I honestly didn't expect much from her as Harley, but she's exceeding my expectations thus far. Can't wait!

  The fact that we've only seen one minute of her as Harley, and yet she has managed to leave such a positive impression on me. That is why I can't wait for Suicide Squad.

        No DC Film is going to be entirely standalone. They're telling a continuous story that'll temporarily shift the focus onto the character-of-the-film--this being a shared-universe (called DC Films, not DCEU :https://www.facebook.com/DC... and all.
        It's confirmed that Wonder Woman will be set 'mostly' in Diana's past. I assume the 'recruitment' itself will happen in JL part one.

        What fans? Almost every franchise ever had been 'officially' named by the executives. Fans didn't come up with DCEU in the first place, nor did they put forward mcu. DCF doesn't but DC Films does, à la DC Comics. (You could make fun of the last part if you want.)
        I wasn't speaking of the WorldWar-I setting. Everyone's aware of that. I meant there 'will be' world-building as the story left by BvS will be progressed.
        Yup, I agree. I'm talking iron-man not showing up at the end of winter soldier kind of inconsistency. There's been bombings in the capital city of the USA but no iron-man whatsoever.
        All those setbacks could at least be made less conspicuous by making each film mimic an episode of a properly written TV show. It'll still be really hard to pull off and I'll reserve judgement 'til I've seen at least two more episodes, I mean (DC) Films.

        Star wars is ONE franchise. All those anthology films about to be released will fall under this franchise. The spin-off films don't become another franchise just because someone thinks so. LotR is a franchise of which the Hobbit films are a part. The Godfather films are a franchise. The Transformers films (that're about to go the spin-off/standalone route) are one as well.
        I personally don't believe high-quality films are stronger than high-quality television. There's a lot of noise on TV but so is the case with films--it's just that we can choose more prominently what films we watch. When someone puts on a TV and there's nothing they really want to watch, most of them watch whatever's on.
        I was talking about finding a middle-ground, which doesn't necessarily mean succumbing to TV tropes.
        I have every reason to believe WB isn't as restrictive to the point of suffocation. The two films they've released (and the upcoming Suicide Squad) prove they're not out to make committee films.

        I agree this so-called shared-universe only gets shared when there's a new avengers movie--or one disguised as something else--is coming out. If your franchise-argument stems from this I know what you mean.
        That's not the case with DC Films (I just like calling them that). BvS literally continues Man of Steel's storyline. And Suicide Squad is set after BvS and it'll do the same but from a back-seat perspective. Wonder Woman 'could' progress it further.

    I concur in part and dissent in part -- enough of Batman already. I love him as much as the next guy, but DC universe needs to learn to fly on its own, without the support of his leather wings.

That´s not that difficult because many many Harley costumes from the comics or games are WAAAAAAYYYYYYY better then the movie version.
As much as I love her Harley (performance wise she nails the character a million percent) I have to disagree with her though. She´ll only be the best character onscreen as long as Joker is not there :P Cause you know nothing beats the Joker, he has been the ultimate scene stealer for 76 years now.
Not to mention there is freaking Batman in the movie (Did Margot actually say that she is better then Batman?)
