3. Speaking of bombs...Slipknot may die first.

SlipknotSuicideSquad

I speculated in my piece on the last Suicide Squad trailer that Slipknot would be the first to die, but for different reasons than now.  Here we see him trying to zip away away killing/incapacitating two guards.  This clip happens during Rick Flag's speech about all the different reasons you could die and as we see Slipknot zooming into the night, Flag says "Try to escape...and you die."  I'm afraid this knot may have come undone.

4. Enchantress is not part of the Squad

AmandaWallerSuicideSquad

When Amanda Waller is addressing the military brass at the White House, she has a row of photos on the wall behind her of the members of the Suicide Squad- Harley, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, Slipknot and El Diablo, but no Enchantress.  The last trailer also made me think she was not part of the Squad because she wasn't in any group shots.  She's probably something else...which I'll get to shortly.

Enchantress looks much more threatening with her demonic eyes. I do hope they improve that shadowy effect that surrounds her though.

Croc looks amazing, so glad they went practical, Joker and Harley are terrific and I love El Diablo and Boomerang. Katana looks badass. Batman is pure Batman, Affleck nailed it in BvS and it was great to get some more shots of him in this Blitz trailer.

In fact, this film is a dream come true and we haven't even seen it LOL

Enchantress is fo sho the movie's villain.

Monster T and Joker are probably side villains too. Or at least, distractions for the Squad.

My prediction is that the June Moon works for Waller, but goes rogue after she's possessed by a demon, then becomes the Squad's main objective.

    We're not worthy!

(But an Enchantress-centric trailer set to Dream Weaver wouldn't be a bad idea!)

In other news, Batman v Superman broke 800 million worldwide at the Box Office yesterday (according to Box Office Mojo). It also beat Man of Steel domestically, and by tomorrow, it will beat it adjusted for inflation too. While I doubt BvS will cross a billion (it could if it wasn't for Jungle Book), it will probably make enough to further secure the DCEU. We can hope SS will do just as good if not better.

But the take with Harley falling is in the city and Batman is diving into water, so it might be something completely different.

Batman diving into the water may be for the Joker driving into it.

Makes sense. Remember that footage with the stunt car? It stops right at the edge of a bridge or something and Bats is about to use the grapple hook.

batman's appearance could be the whole prologue, maybe the whole chase is what ends up being the how harley gets into custody and eventually as part of task force x. Maybe joker jumps out of his lambo mid-chase leaving harley behind, so batman finds himself busy saving her while Mr J. gracefully escapes.

Wierd I didn't realize until now I've never heard this dude talk. He never says anything in the trailers and after seeing those and all the pics of him I would have never guessed he sounded like this. Pretty excited for this movie though..

No mention of Croc? Not only is he given more screen time here, he actually talks in this trailer! Honestly, I imagined he'd have more of a raspy voice, similar to Arkham Origins (though to be fair, he only says one word in this trailer).

  14. Harley Quinn Avatar

I like Katana she's so mysterious, I wonder if she will talk in the movie or at least say some words as Cassandra Cain did in the comics "Batman & Robin Eternal".

  15. Scott Peterson Avatar

Or maybe the part where Captain Boomerang kills one of the mystery monsters with a boomerang in one hand and a PINK UNICORN in the other.

I have a feeling that the Joker/Harley/Bats chase does indeed take place before BvS.

Noooo if you pause the Bohemian Rapsody trailer just right you can see the back of a black dudes head inside the mess of tenticles or whatever it is.

Only hang up I have with Enchantress being the bad guy is that in an earlier trailer Rick Flag was talking with her when he's summing up the Squicide Squad. So why would she be working with the government if they're the ones who send the squad in?

I wonder what Bruce Waynes involvement is in all this. We can make some pretty generic guesses but I can't really think of a specific reason. Maybe Wayne Enterprises is a contractor for military supplies?
