I wouldn't buy any of these shirts because they're just not fun. This fashion seems to take itself way to seriously and where are the colors?! Why can't you just sell Spider-Man or Captain America shirts that are full of color and fun instead?
I'm just waiting for the slew of comments you'll get attacking you because of your "dislike" for these.
Keyword is "fun." Apparently BvS just plain isn't fun, therefore it must be a terrible movie. Why can't DC just be like Marvel? They make "fun" movies that everyone without a brain can enjoy!
It has a myriad of other problems that can't be overlooked because it's not fun.

So you want Snyder replaced because he's not popular with the critics? At the end of the day the only person's opinions and critiques that matter are your own. Screw reviewers and screw box office numbers. He's the right man for the job in my opinion. Hopefully you will agree with me after watching the movie.
No, critics' opinions do matter. If they make movies that ONLY fans will love, then they will never create a successful franchise. Even if you do like Snyder, you can't deny that WB can get a much better director for their movies.
So you're saying you're either a critic or a fan? If what you're trying to say is that the opinions of masses matters then I agree with you 100%.

I care. I said one year ago that two things would break this movie for me:
- Superman not inspiring hope
- Batman murdering people
And what do you know? Yeah, they did kill two birds with one stone.
I mean, Snyder killed both of my favorite heroes in one hit. No, I haven't seen it yet. Going tomorrow. But I don't see how Snyder can ever justify Batman killing, with Suicide Squad right next door. Did they forget to tell him that Joker is alive and kicking? He'd be the first to go! In fact, all of Batman's rogues would go!
And at the end of the day, the consensus of professionals is almost often correct. There are exceptions, of course, but they are rare. Like Psycho.

Just saw it, thought I'd update you if you want to know. I was disgusted seriously, SPOILERS:
Batman mows down guys in the street with his Batwing like it is in the trailer. He also brands people despite it being common knowledge that the Batman brand leads to being killed in prison.

I was thinking the whole time, my god Snyder you seriously couldn't have made it self defense or at the very least in the heat of battle where there is absolutely no other option? Snyder has turned Batman into a murderer.
I can't believe I just wrote that. Seriously he should have just made a Punisher film.
Bale's Batman would stop this Batman and deliver him to GCPD.
I'll just continue to mentally stay in 2005-2012 with regards to Batman on film.

Btw, it's obscure but probably not in the way that you are hoping.
No the first half of the film is him plotting murder with the murder of several mercenaries thrown in for good measure. He believes and clearly states that a 1% chance of Superman being evil is justification for murdering him.
And make no mistake, his plan is to kill superman and it's only stopped by a moment of rather selfish self reflection.
There's that, and a scene where a mercenary in the back of a Jeep,product placement, is shooting at the Batmobile to no affect and Batman just shoots and blows up the vehicle. He also uses a tow cable to drag around an occupied vehicle and slam it upside down on top of another occupied vehicle. He drives the Batmobile into several occupied vehicles destroying them but its hard to tell what really happens because this scene is visually incomprehensible.
There's another scene that's tough to describe without spoilers where he may have set someone on fire/knocked them out a window. Can't quite remember that one in enough detail. He also makes a questionable decision to use the Bat-plane to lead Doomsday into a populated area because that's where he left the only weapon they have to fight him, which begged the question, why didn't he fly into the city, get the weapon, then go back to fight Doomsday?
Exactly it doesn't make sense. Even in the new comic interpretation Batman doesn't use guns, they even say it is the reason he uses batarangs and such like you say in your comment.

Honestly the bit I most can't get over is him branding people despite it being common knowledge that it leads to being killed in prison. That is straight up murder. I can even live with him shooting people in the batwing because it was in battle. But branding people leading to being killed in prison? That is murder. I just can't believe Snyder has turned Batman into a murderer. It's insane.
Also forgot to add to your point. A Batman that clearly has no problem killing yet he lets the Joker live who kills hundreds if not into the thousand mark by the time BvS roles around, cripple Babs (if she is in the DCEU) and kill a Robin and yet won't kill him? That doesn't even make sense for the character in the continuity of the DCEU as Joker is alive in SS.
I'm just pissed at Snyder at the moment. At least if your going to make him Punisher Batman be friggin consistent with it.
What you are referring to is a "what if" scenario. I'd watch the movie before drawing any conclussions if I were you.
To your first question, yes. There were people who said TDK films were shit because of a voice or a suit. These are the same people that will love Dawn of Justice simply because it looks like a comic book and has tons of slow-mo.
Who do you mean by "they"?
If you mean the people making movies, I don't think they were taking anyone's opinions seriously. I think Zack Snyder simply is one of "these people" who looks through comics and only looks at pictures or who thinks action and imagery supersedes story. I'd honestly be surprised if he even looks at the pictures in any books; I think he prefers licking the pages.
That's describes this whole film, someone should have said no.
I like a morally responsible Batman that's trying to promote change, not one who fight criminals just because.
Maybe it's good you're not going in with the highest of expectations. I honestly hope you enjoy the movie. If you don't, these are all characters that will eventually be reborn with different visions so its all a matter of time before you get the version you've been waiting for.
Sorry, but you CAN'T "screw box office numbers" it's the most important factor for a movie franchise, especially one as big as this. If you don't believe me ask Brandon Routh. Superman Returns production budget alone was 270M not including marketing... It ended up making 391M when it was all said and done globally and yet it had very favorable reviews (76% RT score), franchise over! MOS on the on the other hand 55% RT score but it made 668M in box office plus 106M in DVD's with a lower budget. Money matters more than opinion in Hollywood and it always will. When you can have both, then you have a true winner!
I see your point and agree that money matters a lot in this corporate world we live in. What I meant was personally I don't care if a movie fails at the box office as long as I believe its well done and I enjoy it.
Comparing MOS (which released during a successful era of CBM genre) to Supes Returns when DC was having a rough patch? Even the great Batman Begins wasn't a huge blockbuster, but it did manage to erase the haunting memories of Batman & Robin and restored the faith on franchise and set the tone for future Batman flicks.
MOS, despite having the biggest superhero of all time, marginally out grossed Marvel's b grade superheros' (Thor, Ironman, Caps etc) 1st ever live action releases. Most importantly, it left mixed taste in the mouth of many fans, left many fans in division. And, if BvS goes same way, even if it makes 1 billion (which it will anyway), then it will only get worse. Snyder and his films are topic of polarization, it's becoming a fact after his every release.
Preach! Never 'loved' any of his movies, either. 'Watchmen' may be an artistic masterpiece for some, but I can't sit for another 3 hours to watch that film again unlike some other comic book movies. I'm going to watch the 1st show this evening and I hope I could say I loved this movie when I come out of theater. But, I'm keeping my expectations low.
One of the major reasons why Snyder might have got to direct so many films related to WB/DC, is his relationship with WB and Roven, also probably due to the fact he's one of the producers. I can't say if BvS is good or bad, but if it does leave me disappointed, then I seriously don't want him to direct 2 big JL movies which are very crucial for the future of DCEU, because the films which are already announced until JL II are going to be made regardless of reception BvS receives. But, if JL movies fail, then WB might be forced to reboot once again after few years.

Just watched the movie.
It. Is. Great.
Won't get into detail but... You can CLEARLY see some byassed critics' reviews, or at least antiquate ones.
People cheered more than once and we all clapped at the end of it.
I was really bummed by the critics. But after watching it... Man, WERE THEY WRONG.
While I agree that they are overstating a lot of these problems there is huge issues in this film that I do think they are right about.
That's just my thoughts anyway.
If it's about that thing about Batman, I digress. I think people with different mindsets will see it differently. To me it lies the same place where Arkham games do.
Afleck may still be able to somehow resurrect Batman with his solo movies. And Wonder Woman still has kind of a bright future. But Superman is done for. He is solidly in Snyder's clutch. And he won't let go. Now I'm kinda starting to root for the rating to drop as low as possible, so that the execs will look at it in shock and say, "Man we fucked up. We better start listening to the fans. What's the loudest thing they are saying? Oh yeah, Snyder, you're out!"
I think there are still hopes for Batfleck. He seemed to have done a great job, and if the movie brought in enough money, I think the DCEU would have a high chance of keeping going and that means Batman standalone directed by Batman himself is still in the picture and Affleck may be able to bring it back to life

just got home form watching the movie... and I think it's good, it's okay, but it's not what I hoped it would be... and it's really evident that they cut 30 minutes from it, it shows because sometimes the flow of the movie or the pacing seems odd... I also think we saw a lot of Bruce Wayne (Affleck did a great job) but we saw so little of Batman... also Batman felt redundant in the final battle, he could have been a little more involved... LOVED the cameos or intros of the other superheroes it got me really excited for JL. Don't like at all Batman's moral code, but I'm still not sure if it is because they actually made him kill or because of bad writing, sacrificing his moral code just for action and explosions. Anyways, I'm still processing the film, and I'm sure the 3 hour edition will be A LOT better, so I will hold my final judgement until I see it.

Good Morning Bat-Fans just got my tickets the other day so let's all be bold .. Who is all ready for this movie my best friend isn't to excited about it but me as a bat-fan is beyond excited I know the trailers may shown to much already but I think Zach has something up his sleeves
