2 and a half days till midnight release in UK! Never been so excited for a movie before. Can't wait to see these two just share the same scene together.
First two reviews from Rotten Tomatoes.....both rotten, both hispanic.
Hopefully the positive reviews that come in the next few hours drown them.
Those reviews have no weight, 2 rotten reviews among a huge amount of praise from the people who have been lucky to see the movie thus far. I'll be seeing the movie tonight in Sweden, can't wait!

Well, I am truly sad about the recent reviews of the film because they do not do the film justice even the slightest. I'll admit that the movie isnt perfect but it sure is a strong 9/10 for me atleast. Batman/Bruce and Lex were the highlights for me, they were phenomenal (as was the rest of the cast).
There was a lot to take in and I do believe that I will need to see it atleast one more time before judging it.
I read those reviews, both are not done well, the guys who wrote them where trying too hard to dislike the movie, so I'm not taking them seriously.
Yeah, I read that too...it was pretty obvious, almost seems forced....most reviews from the Mexico audience, and some members here on Batman-News, have been that the movie was the best superhero movie ever....
The way I see it is that people will hate on the movie so people can read their article or watch their videos on YouTube and by us reading their article or at least by clicking on it watching their review on YouTube they win so don't read that garbage, I saw the movie and it was amazing so just go see the movie and don't let other people influence you
The writer kept comparing to Marvel. This isn't Marvel and it's not trying to be! He was so obsessed with the notion that DC is trying to copy Marvel. They aren't. DC are forging a more unique darker and grittier path.

So you know, I read the original review and there are like 30 comments from fans all saying YOUR REVIEW SUCKED.. you probably did not watch the movie and well .. yes a bit of hate.. but I am kind of glad they are giving him a hard time. He gave it 6 out of 10 and most of the things he says are total opposite of what I have read in all websites... I think this review does not represent well the critics.
RE Superman being Jonathan Kent's dream, I think that's supported in MoS. Kent talks about Clark one day standing up in front of the whole human race and showing what kind of man he is. I've always gotten the impression that hiding Clark's powers was more because Clark wasn't ready *then*, not because he would *never* be ready.
Saw it last night! Can't wait until you guys see it so I can talk about what I just saw. I'm still amazed. Also can't wait for the podcast on it. If you for some reason thought about not seeing it, ignore that thought. It's so freaking worth it.

Of course. I'm glad nobody spoiled it for me. Honestly, and in my opinion, 10. I absolutely loved it. So tough to work today and not think about it. My wife, who is sort of a Batman fan because of me, really enjoyed it.
Awesome...yeah, the lowest review I have heard about from a reputable source was a 9.2, so yeah pretty much a perfect film.....man, what a way to start a movie universe, DC just took it to a whole new level.
Don't go in expecting it to be perfect cos you'll find something you didn't like and will be disappointed that it wasn't perfect. Just know that you'll enjoy it and it's a good movie. It's entertaining and thought provoking. Enjoy the experience! Have fun with it.

I can't wait for you to see it. I was so nervous, like 3 years of anticipation on one moment. It felt amazing. Then after seeing, realizing how awesome that just was. Don't make your expectations unreachable though. Jeez I just want to talk about it lol. Can't wait until this weekend
I solved that by not going to work today. I knew I'd be unproductive. Lolol. I just wish I can watch it again today. Can't wait to see it again on Thursday with more people watching it for their first time. I love watching movies like this where people are excited in the theater. The energy last night was palpable.
Haha good idea. Me too. My buddy wanted to go so bad, so I'm pumped to see it again with him. Gosh, it was. Everyone was so into it and just as excited as I was. It was a great place to be.
Same here. My friend couldn't get in last night so I'll see it again with him for the Thursday opening. It'll be all about the energy and experience for me again. I'll watch it with a third time when it's quieter to appreciate the dialogue. The writing and the lines were so good but I know I missed some. Then it'll be a long depressing wait for the extended Bluray to see the directors cut. Sigh.

Well...I just got a particular spoiler about Batman in this movie that is a deal-breaker. I was right....God fukin damn it, I was right....I will deduct points on Metacritic for that....Fuck....
That sucks. Spoilers suck! I stayed off the Internet a week before I saw it. That also sucked but so worth it
I believe I know what you're alluding to and I will advise mental flexibility based on context as in the context of the story they're telling and where the character very specifically is at because of Supermans arrival and what is believed to be at stake it makes sense. It is new for the character in the films story too.

No Spoiler Review:
First of all, the writing and dialogue was worlds better than Man of a Steel and if the one thing you thought was missing from TDK trilogy was that Batman was not a master detective and brilliant tactician who remains one step ahead and is like a wraith in the night inspiring legit fear... It is in this movie. The comedy beats also work well, unlike in MOS where they fall flat at times especially it's all downhill from the first kiss or whatever cringeworthy stuff. Here those parts flow naturally and just work.
To ground your expectations, which I think is important, It's not better than the Dark Knight and Batman begins as a cohesive narrative and linear story but I thought it was better and a lot more enjoyable than Rises, and its cinematography in a comic book film does not have an equal. It's only flaw is a few extra bits or parts of scenes that aren't needed really or could have been trimmed, kind of like a graphic novel that's trying to fit many pieces, which could have streamlined it more to keep the pacing perfect. It's a layered story with depth though - real depth that's not in most comic book films like this - and it takes its time to start steamrolling. So it's not Jurrasic World popcorn goofball theatrics with quips throughout, but it pays off and it's visually spectacular, to say the least.
And I have to say, and I will say it endlessly In the future I'm sure - this Batman characterization is what I've always wanted to see. As much as I love TDK trilogy it felt like Bale's Bruce Wayne was being led around by Alfred and Lucius to understand scenarios, criminal motivations, gear, etc. In this Affleck channels Conroy and Frank Millers Batman in a way I really enjoyed; he's very smart, worldly, and it really felt like a Batman that masks his pain both literally and figuratively, which we saw aspects of in Batman Begins. It doesn't have the flawless pacing, impeccable story cohesion, and superb dramatic tension builds of a Nolan film - and what does really? But if you want a movie that feels like a graphic novel come to life and channels the best Batman of the better DC animated films you should enjoy this. To put it in perspective I'd give Man of Steel a B- or C+, the Dark Knight an A, and this a B+ or A depending on its replay value, which I expect to be high because while the story builds slow and really delves into the psyche of the main characters, the intro scene and the Batman scenes alone, and the end are fantastic.

Not off to a good start review wise...
Highest rating I saw so far was 3.5 stars, the rest are either 3 or under, yikes.

Reading his review was difficult. Trying hard to be credible in his review while obviously biased. haha. Oh well. Everyone else says the movie is freaking fantastic. I can't wait to watch the movie in 2 days

review embargo has been lifted and it doesn´t look very good. And not just "normal" reviewers are giving it a bad score but also CBR (one of the biggest comic/superhero websites there is) has given it a bad review, calling BvS "dull".
Zack Snyder is like Michael Bay. Those guys just don´t have any chance with critics and reviews. Several reviews even say that BvS is the nail in the coffin for DC. After the very mediocre reception for MoS Warner really needed BvS to be a giant hit and commercially it will no doubt be huge. But looks like BvS will yet again be another controversial movie with lukewarm critical reception at best. at this rate the movie is lucky to get a critical score as high as MoS.
I was really afraid of that. none of Snyders films have ever been critically acclaimed (his best reviewed movie is still Dawn of the Dead and even that one has a score of less than 80 %) and I was really hoping BvS would finally be his critically acclaimed megahit but it looks like the critics are crushing him yet again. of course the movie will make a ton of money anyway but Warner is starting a cinematic universe here with the first two films critically underwhelming. yes Marvel had some critical duds too but they started out extremely strong (Iron Man has a critical score of 93 %) and since then had several critically acclaimed hits to build on (Avengers, Winter Soldier, Guardians). The DCEU has now released two films and both of them seem to be critical failures (or at least critically underwhelming). If Suicide Squad also gets that many bad reviews, then Warner REALLY has a huge problem.
To make this clear - I don´t take pleasure in this. In fact I hate it. I had wanted BvS so badly to be a critical milestone like TDK or Avengers. I wanted DC to go to the top with this film and finally get the critical acclaim and respect they should have.
But making a movie that only appeals to fanboys and comic nerds and completely turns off most critics just isn´t enough. The DCEU needs critical hits or it won´t be able to sustain itself for very long.
Financially this is a huge win for WB but critically this is a disaster, especially in the face of Deadpools great critical success and its more then likely that Civil War will be at least as well received as Winter Soldier. And there is Singers X-Men: Apocalypse which will most likely get great reviews as well (Every Singer X-Men movie got great reviews).
BvS might actually end up critically panned and being the least well received movie of the year. Which is exactly what I hoped would not happen.
Kinda funny how the two hosts are trying very hard to believe that the Justice League movie won't be as grimdark as any previous DCEU film before it. Face it folks. With Hack Snyder at the helm of this ship trying to ape Nolan, you won't get to see any sort of primary colors or any hint of joy for that matter, in these movies. I'm a little giddy seeing the terrible review for this. Maybe WB will finally get that hint that you can't apply the Batman Filter to anything and expect it to be as successful as the Dark Knight.

after what happened in Brussels (near my friend's home) I wondered why people are in the mood to watch this dark, grim, serious film and to be cast on shadow again
