There's no way around it, Henry Cavill is a beautiful man. If you need proof, just look at the latest photo that he shared on social media today. The Superman actor has started to work out for Justice League Part One, which has a rumored start date of April.

"Warm up phase for Superman training started today! Posting this pic to set myself a minimum goal...and force myself to actually keep going haha!," he wrote on Facebook

Not bad for a "warm up phase"... but Cavill better start doing more pull-ups if he wants to be as jacked as Ben Affleck is as Batman!

    Just want to point out that Cavill has said he drops down on his weight between his stints as Superman. He may not be at Affleck's status in that clip based on this picture but given how jacked he is when he's playing the role I think he's more than equal to Affleck:

      Yeah, he recently said he gains 30 extra pounds of muscle for Superman, and then brings it down to just 10 extra pounds inbetween shoots. So he may still have about 20 more pounds to go. Dude's huge!

        In terms of arms and muscle size, Cavill is bigger than Affleck, but Affleck is taller, so he has it easier when it comes to overall size and potential.

          You misunderstand me - I'm a DC fan. That's why I'm sayin' Darkseid is worse than Thanos, as a threat. Not a concept.

          Darkseid is more challenging and is to be taken seriously.

          With that said, I'm not a Marvel fan by any means (my comment history proves that, you are welcome to look at it), and I prefer Darkseid over Thanos any day of the week. Again, Darkseid is worse because he's a greater threat. That's what my original post meant. Thank you.

        Canning the movie that will have massive young audience appeal? I doubt that.
        Cyborg has a lot of appeal in todays society(Technopath) also and most would prefer Martian Manhunter over him.

        Rock is excited to play Black Adam unless they plan on filling the 2019 Shazam slot with something else.

          I don't know about his talks with Marvel but yeah, he'd also be a perfect fit for Gordon. I think Darkseid needs to be played by someone who really commands the screen and can stand against the entire Justice League. I think Cranston is capable of doing that. It'd be wonderful to have him as Darkseid.

      Affleck is much more stocky I guess, while Cavill has the much more body builder physique.

        It's just that Affleck has a bigger body overall, from height to his bone structure, so even if he doesn't gain as much muscle as Henry, he will look bigger than him

        Cavill, to me, looks like he's training to achieve that Roman God physique (All mighty and powerful). Whereas Affleck is more like a jacked up weightlifting human (compared to Superman who is a God)
