Dr. Pepper has teamed up with Warner Bros. to create limited edition Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cans. They feature Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, and Lois Lane. Check them out in the gallery below.

  Because we can infer a lot of stuff about Superman and Batman from what we've previously seen. They probably want to keep the Wonder Woman backstories really hush hush untill these subsequent movies come out. Dont be surprised if you see more media for her before her solo film.

      Atomic Man's right. Finch will probably have more screen time and more of a role in BvS than Diana. Diana's role is probably a subplot (until the final battle with Doomsday).

      Plus, Finch's story ties into the overall tale in these comics about people's reactions to Superman; Diana's would be radically different since the Amazons aren't normal people.

  I kinda thought the same thing. I'm guessing the Senator Finch comic was attached to her can which is a bit weird. Why not just have Senator Finch on the can instead?
  I don't think I minded that she didn't have a comic of her own I suppose, considering they are probably wanting to keep her past and current actions in wraps, but I expected a reference to her in one of the comics. Not obvious maybe, but maybe some vague reference.

    Because Wonder Woman will sell a lot more cans than Sen. Finch, but Finch is probably a lynchpin in the story of BvS where Wonder Woman is a lynchpin to JL.

I wonder how in tune with the movies these comics are. Sometimes with prequel comics to stuff its like way out there compared to the material its based on. I'm hoping these are pretty accurate. That Firefly comic was pretty much exactly what I'd love to see in Batman for these movies :D

  In the senator finch one, a politician was talking about how Kal el stopped a great forest fire from spreading, which could have devastated an entire state. I think you see that in the comic con trailer where he's saving people from a burning building. Thing with these prequel comics is that there is absolutely NO problem if you don't read them, but if you do, then you just know a bit more.Your to gain :)

Eh.. but I still think that Eisenberg should gain a little weight in future. I don't expect a bodybuilder, but at least more athletic Luthor. That would be perfect.

    When fighting Superman, it was always clear his brawn wasn't enough. Luthor thinks himsel f perfect, and having an incredible physique is part of that. making him a shrimpy nerd takes away from the character.

If I wasn't convinced before, then I am convinced now that this Lex has been made for Jesse Eisenberg. I could totally see him playing this role. And I love the fact that he's in almost every prequel comic (at the end). It just means he's keeping tabs on everyone. Except Senator Finch who, from the trailers, seems she's already affiliated with him.

Hmm, are those photos Finch was showing to the Committee supposed to be fakes in the comic? I can't seem to remember a scene in Man of Steel with an Armored Zod zapping a building while flying and destroying planes on his own (I rewatched the movie recently, I'm sure). I remember the World Engine destroying some planes, though. Idk, I'm just trying to prevent the idea of a continuity error.

  It's not a direct scene from MoS. The military leader with Finch, said its a rendition of what a kryptonian can do based off what happened is metropolis. So, in short, thats not Zod.

Those were great. I especially liked the Lex Luthor and Senator Finch ones. Gives a real good idea about these powers who are more or less opposed to Superman.

Critics/trolls claim that the idea of BvS is too reactionary to the success of competitors and shoehorned with characters, yet all the promotional content I've seen including these prequel comics indicate that the implications of Man of Steel are properly centralized throughout and progress more fluidly than I could have hoped for.

Hopefully we get this throughout the film because I found all five comics not only captured the characters and situations perfectly it was genuinely interesting and the world felt like a believable and organic progression from the events of Man of Steel. I am really looking forward to seeing what this film has in store.

Normally I find comics based on films to be weird. And in some cases the art style here gets a bit distracting in being rather inconsistent with trying to look like the actors (mostly with the Lex comic), but honestly its better than most attempts at comic book tie-ins. In fact, they're really good. They don't feel like cheap inserts for marketing purposes.
