   Great work as always gents. Here's a question:

   Me and my friends have gone back and forth on what the Batman solo movies should be about. We've talked about the Red Hood arc, that would help utilize Joker and introduce Todd based on the robin costume in BVS. We've also talked about the use of Hush and Batman Inc to expand the Batfamily. What solo Batman stories do you guys want to see come to life? Who should be Todd? Hush? If like Matt Damon for Hush. Thanks.

      A modified mix of elements of Hush and Red hood would be awesome ! Direct adaptation of these may not be viable for this cinematic universe or maybe just a red hood movie...
      P.S-Matt Damon perfect for Hush :)

      I would love to see a Red Hood movie. I dunno if the Hush storyline would translate that well to cinema, because there's so many characters... but it could work. But a Red Hood movie would pretty much work perfectly in this new DC Universe.

   The "Do you bleed....you will" line, works perfectly. The line isn't said just to be cruel. It has a purpose. It obviously foreshadows what will happen later in the film. When someone bleeds, it represents vulnerability. Which is what Batman plans on exploiting in Superman. Why? Because Superman basically tells him that he's not allowed to be Batman anymore! And THERE'S your Dark Knight Returns-like conflict. And HOW they resolve that conflict (which is the most important thing), is what the last trailer didn't give away.

      That's not the reason for the conflict. That would be a weak "reason", and we know why they will fight each other.

      Yeah I think there's more to it as well. I think it comes after a longer discussion than we may have seen about the people that died in the battle of metropolis, etc. and Batman may be trying to ground him in the reality of the suffering the Kryptonians caused with all the people that died both through Zod's direct actions and the two of them fighting, asking him if he himself bleeds to even know what it feels like to be human.

      I also think that's where the line "it's time you learn what it means to be a man" comes from. He's going to show Kal-El what it means..

      It was definitely a way of making Superman who is seemingly nigh invulnerable feel how everyone else feels, as stated in TDKR. "You're feeling it aren't you? What the rest of us live with everyday" And possibly mirrored in BvS, "It's time you learn what it means to be a man."

      Batman served the people while Superman was serving the a higher power, the government. Very representative of who they were. On top of making a convincing fight as to fake his death and disappear from the government, Batman wanted Superman to understand what it felt like to be a normal person. People say the fight was shallow to prove Batman could beat Superman, but it was everything but that.

   Question: How do you both feel about post-credit scenes? Is this something you would like in the DCEU?

      Agreed. This is my favorite podcast by far!

      While you wait for Sean and Andy to chime in on the next episode, I'll give you my 2 cents...

      I think Marvel has claimed their territory on the post-credit scenes. If the DCEU did them now it would just look like copying. Give me some Batman Begins Joker card moments at the very end to help set up the next film. I prefer little teases like that.

         I think they are planning to make DCEU a big giant film , just like Snyder said. Each movie will not have an end, it'll be more like the beginning of another one..

   I think one of the main reasons Jai Courtney seems to be so successful in this role is because he doesn't have to fake an American accent. In every other movie I've seen him in that's been a dud he was boring and unconvincing with his dialogue. I think him being able to let out, if not play up his real Australian accent and mannerisms, is making some of the difference in his characterization being seemingly on point so far.

   On the DC special? Yes they did. They showed the scene from the trailer of him going down the building and using his heat vision and Wonder Woman blocking it with her shield.

    Hey guys just found the podcast and I am loving it so far. The colors in the chemicals in the joker dive to harley scene are for sure the dye from their clothes. You can look closely and see it coming off the jokers jacket, bleeding into the chemicals.

    So, I loved everything about this trailer, except the end with the Harley line of "We're bad guys, it's what we do." It felt too forced. Hopefully it's just a trailer line and it won't actually be in the movie. Every other part with her in it is fantastic, but that one line threw me off.
