Update 01/07/16: After all that, it turns out this report from Comicbook.com wasn't true. Netflix and Marvel just announced that Daredevil Season 2 will premiere on March 18.

Warner Bros. thought they were out of Marvel's crosshairs when they moved Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice away from Captain America: Civil War to a new March release date, but they have competition once again.

Comicbook.com reports that Daredevil Season 2 will premiere on March 25th on Netflix. If that date sounds familiar, it's because that's when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters. This was certainly not a coincidence from the clever people at Marvel and Netflix -- they just declared war!

    I first thought this Daredevil move was because of the Fandango poll that just released with BvS ranking as more anticipated than Civil War (but behind Rogue One and Finding Dory--so I guess technically Disney has nothing to fear in that regard). And Wonder Woman as the most anticipated new comic book character. While I don't believe in Fandango polls that much, I think the timing of this announcement is a bit too coincidental.

    Or it's just click bait, some blogger desperate for a story found that Daredevil was being released the same day as BvS and made a whole hullabaloo about it and people are buying into it.

    Can we not do the clickbait headline thing again? It doesn't reflect well on the site. I'd argue it hurts credibility and pigeonholes those of us who visit regularly.
