I haven't seen the movie yet, but I think a beloved character dies.

Glorious! I love how Wonder Woman is caught in the middle. I've long suspected that in the case of Batman v Superman, Wonder Woman will serve as the ultimate judge.

Loved the Wonder Woman one, liked pretty much the Sups, in the other hand we have the Batman poster... if his face didn't looked weird (it looks weird in my persepective) it would have been my second favorite.

What's your problem. Gal Gadot is an amazingly beautiful woman. Just because she's tall an slender doesn't mean she's anorexic. She's a great role model and seems like a good person at heart. a strong, proud female. Exactly what Wonder Woman represents. If she was fat and people called her out for that there'd be riots by now against the fanboys.
She's damn sexy.

It's the little things, right? So glad we're past the 'origin story' stage and Superman can finally be Superman.
My biggest hope and fear for this movie is for Sups to be inspiring. I get what he had to go through in his origin, and that's fine. But now, he needs to inspire hope in me. If he doesn't, that will be a major point deduction for the movie.

No, but she has trained like a beast to kill by ancient warriors. And she is supposed to have the best technique of any DC fighter...The bulk comes along with it.

But it has to do with visual depiction...As in let the character's look show me that she is a fighter, trained and bred to be the best....Slender powerhouses already exist in the form of Supergirl and variants.
Supergirl died 18000 years ago in this mythology; she doesn't count.
Second, she's a princess from an absolute monarchy. That requires a great many attributes and skills beyond those of combat (e.g., diplomacy), and she'll have cause to use those more than the pure fighting. So far Gal Gadot has seemed to look on point in both the Diana Prince scenes and the battle scenes; do you think someone with the build and looks of Ronda Rousey could have pulled off the former ?
totally valid points. Still I would prefer a buffer WW...also considering the majority of her(and the league's) problems are solved through combat and battle scenes rather than diplomacy

Maybe Lynda Carter is more your type? Or a two-dimensional drawing? If it makes you uncomfortable, you can always just ignore fiction altogether and look up pictures of real life roided out female bodybuilders. Might be more your thing. That's cool.

I think a woman with Gal Gadot's or Lynda Carter's physique is a good representation of the classic character. I know a lot of athletic powerful women in my life. They don't need steroids or silicone injections to give them strength. The strength comes from training, resilience, flexibility, discipline, etc.
If you prefer a more superficial or literal minded definition of strength, that's cool. Like I said, fiction isn't for everyone.
He's correct. My girlfriend is hotter than Gadot and I can think of 9 other girls I'd rather bang than our supposed Wonder Woman. She's not sexy at all. She looks like she hasn't gone through puberty yet.

Well, that picture of Black Widow is heavily photoshopped to increase the size of her boobs and butt, while making her waste smaller and adding more space between her thighs. (Also, where did all of her internal organs go? Maybe a super spy like Black Widow has been genetically modified so she doesn't need a rib cage?)
If that's your definition of what 'feminine' is supposed to look like, I'm guessing you spend more time looking at magazines than talking to actual women.
ScarJo is a beautiful woman. She stands on her own. Not sure why they needed to add all the padding and photoshop her into a something with Barbie doll proportions. Then again, the reaction from men like you might explain why Hollywood continues to promote unrealistic body standards as 'normal.' Something to think about as you argue that any woman that isn't either photoshopped, heavily padded or using steroids doesn't deserve the right to be seen as a hero.
