on Hot Toys is making 'Batman v Superman' figures and 1/6 scale Batmobile (photos)

Hot Toys, the company behind the highly detailed collectible figures, announced today that they're making a 1/6 scale Batmobile from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. We also got word last week that they'll be making Batman and Superman figures as well (sneak peek pictured above).

The Batmobile will be unveiled in full glory very soon at Hot Toys' booth (F01-16) in the upcoming Toy Soul 2015 on Dec 18 in Hong Kong! Check out a sneak peek in the gallery below.

    I effing love Hot Toys. They are the best. True detailed quality work. I knew they would do BvS figures because they are pretty much owning the superhero side of things in their business. There is no major superheromovie without some Hot Toys figures from it. They are expensive but the quality justifies every cent. Who needs sideshow collectibles or childrens toys when they can have these photorealistic bad boys?

    I cannot wait for the HT Wonder Woman figure. My Black Widows are already yearning for some female company on my shelf :D

    There's three Batman's. If you look behind Superman, it says "BATMAN" Could it be the desert Batman look?

    Ugh I need the Batmobile and a Wonder Woman Figure in my life

    So I was watching Creed the other day and I think the Soundtrack by Ludwig Goransson is pretty amazing. His theme for Creed is so epic that at times I felt like I was listening to the soundtrack of a superhero film and I was imagining, wouldn't it be great if he did a theme for Wonder Woman or the Justice League, just listen,

      Creed.... What an emotional roller coaster the movie was, espcially the music. Best movie of the year IMO

          I couldn't even possible choose a best of the year (I wouldn't be surprised if it's Star Wars) but Mad Max is still pretty amazing too, I was just talking to my friend the other day like "wow... I can't believe that was a thing"

        It really was, the scenes between Donny & Rocky after a certain emotional scene I was just in the theater like ;__;. It was a great movie. and those fight scenes... ugh, just so good.

    That Batmobile has literally become my favorite version of the iconic car and the film has not been released yet. I could say the same about the Batfleck suit, I have seen all the minor details in Arkham Knight which is the closest look of them, but i have too many Batman figures though from my childhood and I'm not made out of money but I need that Batmobile! Haha, I'll need an update on these, on the prizes especially.

      Nah I think the Arkham Knight Batmobile is the best. What an absolute beast.

        Yeah that Batmobile is not for me haha, I like the sleeker ones, I would probably rank that one third or fourth. But we all have different opinions :)

          I would rate them like this:

          1. Arkham Knight
          2. BvS
          3. Smallville
          4. Nolan
          5. New 52

          Personally I am not a fan of the classic "limo" style Batmobile in the 80s and Burton films. Don´t like the 66 one either. Sorry Adam West.

            What do you mean by Smallville? Did they make one for the show?

            The Tumbler will probably always be my favorite, I love how much it looks like a bat crawling around on the ground! I think you could argue that Arkham Knight and BVS are somewhat derivative of it as well.

    Hey just one question for you guys. Does anybody think that Zack Snyder didn't edit the 2nd trailer? It just doesn't seem like his style to me.

      Snyder edits NONE of the trailers. Why do people always think the director is behind the PR materials ? Thats all the studio.

        That's kinda hard for me to believe due to the Comic-Con Trailer

          Thats not the directors job. The studio puts that stuff together. Sometimes these trailers reveal even more then the director would have liked (e.g. Terminator Genisys. Alan taylor wasn´t too happy with that trailer but it was out of his hands)

            Some directors even don´t get a say in the final cut of the movie. Again Alan Taylor heavily complained how Marvel went in and made him do changed to Thor: The Dark World that he wasn´t very happy with. He even said that Marvel basically took over his movie during post-production. Joss Whedon also had some severe battles with them over Age of Ultron (marvel wanted to remove the farmhouse stuff and more focus on action and setting up ohase three. They insisted on the norse pool scene which Joss didn´t want to do but it was the only way to get Marvel to agree to keep the farmhouse stuff).

            Working in a studio system is tough. the director gets some freedom and some directors get to write their own scripts but the studio have the final say about everything. Marvel is notorious for exacting that power on their movies. Some directors like the Russos or James Gunn have no problem with that as they mostly see eye to eye with the studio anyway, others like Whedon, Taylor and Edgar Wright as well as Patty Jenkins (who left Thor 2 due to such differences) want to be more individual about their films instead of making them part of the studios vision. I am surprised that jenkins is now doing Wonder Woman as she is undoubtedly facing a similar system with DC and WB (who also have the final say about everything not Snyder)

            Well that sucks. The reason why I asked that question is because Zack Snyder didn't even mention the new trailer until 9-10 days after it's release.

        "Thats all the studio." - not always. If I remember correctly, Fincher had full control of marketing for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". It depends on what director will win in the contract.

        And Snyder SOMETIMES edits trailers for his movies...
        Surely he edited himself one for "300". He also watches over all trailers for "MoS"... Third trailer for "BvS" simply doesn't fit to his epic-style. Probably because he is busy with pre-production on "JL", so studio doing everything for him :/

      The marketing is a whole different department. I don't think Zack is in charge when it comes to that

      I know there is something called "trailer
      houses", responsible for (marketing and) editing the trailers for the studios. But i dont know how much it is currently used.

    I'm really awaiting the figures with anticipation especially Batman. The 1/6 Batmobiles are enormous (I've seen the Burton one) and very expensive. Personally I will get the Hot Wheels Elite 1/18 version when it comes out.

    There's 5 character plates there. 3 Batman and 1 Superman can be seen. Please let that last 1 be Wonder Woman.

    Those are cool...and they're not going to be cheap.

    Always wanted the 1/6 Tumbler (to go with the 1/6 DK Batman) but I have no room for that behemoth

    Wait..almost forgot the 1/6 scale "The Bat" . That would need it's own apartment :)
