on 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' trailer #3 reveals Doomsday

We got a sneak peek at the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer earlier this week on Gotham, but Ben Affleck just premiered the full thing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The trailer starts off with banter between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, and then kicks into 3 minutes of epic new footage from the movie! It also reveals that Doomsday is the main villain that the Trinity will need to take out. Check it out above, and let me know what you think in the comments below.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016!

Why are people freaking out that the trailer "gave away too much?" Have they read the freaking synopsis??
"And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."

    Why is this surprising again?

I've noticed a lot of people believed this was a "Vs." film so seeing a villain at the end that will bring the heroes together was a spoiler to them. Maybe it's too much to ask for somebody to properly read the title of the film? I don't know.

Then they're gonna be pissed with Civil War because their synopsis practically reads exactly the same.

What in the world is wrong with this trailer? OK, apart from the misjudged music - which is not even from the film itself. But the actual content shown is superb. Are Marvel fans really so pathetically insecure?

Pretty boy Cavill and Anorexix feed me a burguer Gadot dont really belong in this movie,Ben and Jesse are the only ones that can actually semi-save it....

Batman at the end holding an automatic weapon? lol.....yeah bad bad bad call, reminds me the demented Batman version of the animated movie "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" where Batman is actually Bruces father.

And its funny to see you all clap for DC and their awesome two line funny scene at the end:

-Shes with you,i thought she was with you thing, its funny thou...Marvel got burned and flamed again and again for being to funny, you defended DC and its gritty non jokes in movies MO to the end and now you applaud this funny little tidbit at the end?

You are all lost like DC is,as i said before DC's main problem is that they do not want or cant find the right tones for the movie, either they go to dark (shivers at MoS) or they go the clown route like GL....so yeah someone give DC a compass, they truly are lost.

P.S:Didnt know BvS was doing a crossover with TMNT....oh wait, that is the bad guy from the hulk movie...oh wait it looks more like my mother in law lol...what a waste.

P.S.2:Copy and paste from another poster and another site, sums up my thoughts exactly:

"it aint doomsday per se. it be a creation by lexington luthcorp. he
gonna use zod body and the birthing pods to create his own superman, but

it gonna fight batman y superman then flatchest woman will have 0 lines

movie. it is hurting my internal organs when i watch this trailer for
the 15th time tonight. shit trailer. shit movie. batman vs superman?
more like old man vs man who can't act, vs lex overacting eisenberg.

And that is NOT a good sign. I've always said that this movie will
either be considered the best thing ever, or the biggest colossal
failure. I can't believe I'm saying this but I think it might be the
    latter.

Wb/DC honestly should not have made this film this
early. They should've just contiued with solos and iron out all the
kinks and slowly create what they want their cinematic universe to be.
And once people have confidence, then make BvS. Now this all just looks
    like a huge mess."

I'm getting a panic vibe from DC. They are going overkill with the

I think it's both... Lex creates the Zod-monster which is effectively Doomsday. It doesn't bother me as I think Doomsday sucks as a villain anyway, but as a monster/weapon Lex creates he's fine. I'd actually much rather have this than waste a movie on the tedious backstory and motivation-less ball of kill that the comics-accurate Doomsday would bring to the table.

The trailer suggested that the plot will be about as conventional as I have long suspected it to be (Luthor sets Batman against Superman, Luthor creates a clone, heroes recognize that Luthor is the real enemy and team up to defeat his threats, much like the aborted 2004 BvS film). But it would be a very strange -- and probably unenjoyable -- comic book film that strayed too far from typical comic book tropes. This movies looks fun and visually stunning. I'm sure I'll be thoroughly entertained.

Yeah seriously haha. Most of the scenes are the same as the teaser and 3 minute clip at comi con. Anyone who follows dork shit as closely as we do assumed a monster type creature either doomsday or bizzarro was created by lex using zod. Now we finally saw it but still don't know who it is or if zod was used. That huge explosion is still cut in ways that you can't tell what set it off because they always link a sick Wonder Woman scene to it. I doubt her shield absorbed that huge blast like they make it look or her gauntlets set it off. So all we got that's really new is a great interaction between Bruce and Clark and Lex, parademons in what was thought to be a dream sequence but now who the hell knows, batmans voice, and an action shot of the trinity. There's still a lot to be surprised about.

Some people are saying they're disappointed at the fact that they revealed doomsday already but I think that given the fact that he's the movie's main threat it has to be shown, also why keep It a secret when everyone practically knew that he could be in the movie? It's like when talia showed up in TDKR, it wasn't quite a surprise anyway since everybody was already expecting it. Good move my opinion. It also serves to beat the leakers down the line.

I love the trailer, but if only they made it shorter and just cut out the entire ending of the trailer. We know Batman and Supes would come to terms and would fight alongside Wonder Woman, but I think they showed a little bit too much. Doomsday could have been such a brilliant surprise for the movie.
I actually like the design, since he looks exactly like comic book Doomsday, minus the spikes (that he only gets through death and revival), but I think they have shown a tiny bit too much. I know they are not dumb and are going to save tons of shit for the actual movie, surprises, twists and whatnot, but I really hope they don't go the Marvel route and show too much with their trailers and sneak peeks. That's something WB/DC movies always got better: Trailers.

I enjoyed the trailer. I loved the banter between Clark and Bruce (I think we'll see tons more of that), and I love Jesse as Lex Luthor. The Doomsday reveal was obvious to me, though it seems to have made people very upset. I loved Wonder Woman saving Batman's ass! Here are my worries:

    1. I wasn't a fan of the editing of the trailer. The music was off. I totally wish they had used Han Zimmer's music.
    2. People are worried Doomsday is going to have 15 minutes of fame and then die off, and some are comparing it to Spider-Man 3.
    3. The CG needs work.
    4. I hope Wonder Woman has more scenes than have been shown.

People seem very mixed about this trailer and it has me worried. Why would WB decide to reveal so much? Normally, they leave things to the mind when it comes to their trailers. We'll see. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping this film will succeed :)

i don´t think it reveals too much, in my opinion, snyder already planned all this scenes to be part of the last trailer previous to the movie´s release; the first two trailers were more "coy" if you will, even when interviewed snyder tried his hardest to not give too much away, that would've been pointless if the scenes revealed in this new tralier were, in fact, spoilers. so don't worry, there's too much kept in safe for march 2016 (aquaman, scoot mcnairy's role, lex's true motivations for pitting supes and bats against each other)

Revealing the look of Doomsday bothers me just because of the "don't reveal the monster" meme. Using Doomsday himself in this film doesn't bother me because I think he's generally a poor character (or, rather, just a raging monster) and I'd much rather see him as Lex's weapon than as a lead villain in his own right. Wonder Woman... I think she's not going to appear until the big fight at the end, but we'll be seeing Diana in spurts throughout the movie to set up her character (of the three, she's the one with the least difference between civilian and warrior personas) and to get us wound up for the big reveal (and tell me that's not an applause moment in the theater).
