We're finally getting a Justice League movie in 2017, but did you know that one was almost made in 2008?  Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller was just about to start shooting Justice League Mortal, but the writers strike and tax breaks in Australia forced Warner Bros. to cancel it. It would have been set in a different universe than Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.

Armie Hammer was cast as Batman, D.J. Cotrona was Superman, and model Megan Gale was cast as Wonder Woman. Little has been seen from the movie... until now! Photographer Mark Rogers (via Superhero News) was hired to take photos of the cast and production, and he recently shared a photo of Megan Gale as Wonder Woman. Check it out in the gallery below.

How do you think this design compares to what Gal Gadot will look like in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? Hopefully it won't be long until we get to see what Armie Hammer would've looked like as Batman. He had previously described the Batsuit as something different and unique.

    She actually looks great. I still thank God for Wilkinson and co. who has done wonderful work on Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman costume. Megan Gale looks good. The skirt I'm not crazy about... Why go to a cloth fabric unless they wanted it to tear easy? I guess then they could reveal bikini look?

        Well have to agree to disagree. After seeing Sin City 2, Eva would be perfect for Affleck's BM as CW. I don't see Circe having as significant of a role in the DCEU as CW in the long run.

        Eva is a wise choice. It depends if you want Catwoman to fight or not. If the answer is yes we want a butt-kicking Catwoman then Eva is not Cynthia Rothrock nor Gina Carano if the answer is no , we don't want her to fight , ok Eva is sexy enough to drive a man crazy

          I thought Eva was convincing in 300 2. That and Sin City is what convinced me she could play DCEU character like CW.

      How is she a model and how does the person responsible for this call themselves a photographer? The vacant expression, the lifeless hand placement, the awkward hair on the shoulder and some harsh light do not add up to a good looking model or photo.

    Gale looked so much better in Mad Max. I don't really care for the costume, but I love the detailing on the bodice and her tiara, the boob parts look like Melons tho

    It looks like they didn't stray too far away from this initial outline, and the actress is spot on.

    Wonder Woman spent most of her career without any "WW" logos; I don't think they're necessary. You can make an argument that they're an anachronism on Gal Gadot's costume as that letter wasn't used in ancient Greek (or modern Greek either).

    I reached out to the Justice League Mortal photographer to see if he had photos of Armie Hammer as Batman too. Unfortunately, he did not.

      It's okay, I highly doubt it was better than Affleck's version, but it would have been cool to see.
