      I generally agree with you, but when it comes to a villain as iconic as Brainiac, I want to see him portrayed for the first time by someone with that iconic status, even if it's not exactly out-of-the-box casting. It's like Nicholson as the Joker in Batman '89. The casting was spot-on, even if it was predictable and obvious.

   Not sure that Fiennes is a 'better' actor than Jeremy Irons, but he's certainly more likable and at a (slightly) different point of his career than Irons is, just because he's about a decade younger.

    Arrested Development reunion with Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes, and Zach Galifianakis as the Joker? This movie sounds fantastic! I'm really excited for anything DC has coming up soon, honestly, as well as most of what Marvel's doing. Great time to be a geek.
