Matt Damon: ''Jason Bourne would kick the shit out of Batman!"

Once Batman gets past Superman, he may have his next opponent lined up. Ben Affleck's BFFL Matt Damon took a friendly little shot at Batman at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend. Here's what the Jason Bourne actor had to say in an interview with E! Online:

"Jason Bourne would kick the shit out of Batman—absolutely!" Damon said with a big smile when I caught up with him at Toronto International Film Festival, where he was promoting The Martian (in theaters Oct. 2).
"Batman's gotta take on Superman first," he added. "If he could beat him then maybe he could take on Jason Bourne."

Damon revealed that even he hasn't heard Ben Affleck's Batman voice yet. "I haven't been like, 'Come on, dude, just do it once,'" Damon said with a laugh. "I haven't asked him to talk Batman yet, but now maybe I will."

As for if he'd ever like to play a superhero, Damon seems content with just being Jason Bourne. "I think they're kind of out of superheroes," Damon said. "Ben's going to be like the sixth or seventh Batman, so I don't think there's really any left. So I'm good. Jason Bourne is my superhero."

Hahaha, obviously Batman would tear Jason apart but I think this was a jab at Ben Affleck rather than Batman. They are good friends after all.

  I think Goyer's a wonderful storyteller, but as a writer he does have flaws here and there. Occasional spotty dialogue, some stuff with plotting etc. It was more obvious in MoS than TDK trilogy because the Nolans really polished TDK stuff (and you know I still loved MoS). Terrio as a writer in terms of character, plot, dialogue etc is exceptional so I'm hopeful/sure BvS will reflect that.

      And the dialogue in MoS wasn't perfect but it wasn't usually Clark I had a problem with.

        I love the movie as a whole but yes some dialogue was meh. An angry I don't think so would have set the tone of the fight better

        Its funny,cuz i didnt liked Sups,until i saw MoS,i thought it was a awesome movie,but after watching 60x times,i started to see some mistakes,its not a perfect movie,but its not as bad as people claim to be.

    I thought they actually did a good job incorporating it, but I can see where someone would be put off by it. Normally movies have shaky cam like Alex Cross or Taken 2 where it's not used for effect, just to hide poor choreography.

  Adam West - yes, Michael Keaton - perhaps, Kilmer and Clooney - yes, Bale and Affleck - I'd say probably not...perhaps Bale. Granted, we haven't seen much of Affleck but from everything I've heard/read it sounds like he's going to be an absolute beast.
