In a recent interview with MTV, The Dark Knight Rises star Tom Hardy was asked if he'd like to return to the DC Comics movie universe. "Of course, I'm Bane! I want to go back", Hardy replied.

He then told a funny story about being asked who he wanted to win in Batman v Superman. "I would like to hold the pair of them under the water until the bubbles stop," he joked.

Tom Hardy had a chance to play a role in the new DCEU. He was originally cast in Suicide Squad as Rick Flagg before having to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with another movie. Hopefully he gets another shot at some point down the road.

      I don't think so. But I remember The Rock being the guy I wanted as Bane in Nolan's universe. Hardy did a great job though, so no complaints here. I just think that The Rock's physical presence would've pleased more fans.

        It's a shame that the poor man is dead, he was really funny in his movies but in real life it was the other way around, Jena Malone wrote a beautiful poem about the late Robin Williams.

            I get what you mean. I think Gadot is super hot too, but I think I'd still go for Amy first, because of that Je ne Sais Quoi, that uniqueness you're talking about. I think with Amy, it's more about the charm and the warmth beyond the obvious cuteness.
            Gadot is scorching, don't get me wrong, but I guess she's soooo far out of my league I wouldn't even consider her. I'd just be content to gaze from afar :D
