In addition to the new armored Batsuit, Warner Bros. has Batman's gadgets from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on display at Comic-Con.
There's a really hi-tech looking cowl, grenade launchers, sticky bombs, batarangs, smoke bombs, and grappling hooks! Check some photos out in the gallery below, courtesy of Superhero News and Toyark.

Definitely thought that grenade launcher was Mr. Freeze's gun for a second and got super excited. It's not quite that cool, but still pretty sweet. Although, why would Batman need/use a grenade launcher?
Great stuff!!! In a way I feel sorry for the villains who come across this version of Batman. He's about 6"4 230 pounds, and packing some serious heat in terms of gadgets.They stand no chance! Affleck is the Batman.

the batarang is a batman staple. that's like saying I'm tired of seeing ryu shooting hadokens, or megaman use a blaster, or mario using mushrooms.
lol, thats like telling harry potter to put down his wand, or scorpion to not use his harpoon kunai, or rocky balboa to stop throwing punches in movies, or green lantern to stop making constructs.
A staple is called that bc it's part of the character. The batarang is as much a part of Batman as his utility belt. What you're asking is for him to not be him. That's just silly.
Harry's wand is a tool he uses. A tool that enhances his character. Iconic of who he is. His wand, on its owns, is just as representative of him as a character as the batarang is to Batman. The problem here is you're failing to see that.
Unlimited Batarangs in the utility belt.

In film, it really seems that he only uses a batarang about once per movie if at all, through all the films if you think about it so I hope he actually uses them a lot in this

This movie sounds like the dumbest move ever. Seriously, WB had the perfect Batman story with Nolan's trilogy, but they had to screw it up and come up with this crap. Any smart person would have just continued that story. But I guess there's no such thing at WB...

First of all, they didn’t screw up anything. Nolan’s trilogy still exists and it’s still great. That hasn’t changed and it won’t change with this new movie universe.
Secondly, the trilogy had a beginning and an ending. It came full circle. There was no way to continue that story.
And finally, other superheroes would not fit in the world Nolan created. He made it perfectly clear that Batman was the only one.
There’s absolutely no reason why they can’t both be good. There’s no reason why we can’t love both.
There we go, another close minded Nolanite. You should be happy that they aren't ruining the trilogy by adding unrealistic things and keeping Nolan's heroic Bat legend and ending it there.

I believe OP is right it does seem like a line launcher. Especially more so if you look at the hooks next to it.
