Jared Leto tries to hide his Joker costume in 'Suicide Squad' set photos, first look at Common in character

It's been a while since we've seen Jared Leto on set of Suicide Squad as the Joker, but the actor was spotted in Toronto, Canada earlier today. Leto was wearing a black robe to try and hide his costume from photographers, but we all know what he'll look like.

Get a good look at Leto's Joker makeup and some of his tattoos in the photos below, courtesy of Just Jared.

  A lot of people nowadays have tattoos. It's not as uncommon (pun?) as it once was.
  In the words of my tattoo artist, "25 years ago when I first started out as a tattoo artist... They didn't have shops, my parents hated me, etc. You were weird if you had a tattoo. Nowadays, times have changed and everyone gets them, you are weird if you don't have a tattoo.

      Well El Diablo and Tattooed Man are suppose to have have tattoos!! If you think about it in todays underworld alot of criminals have tattoos, so i don't see whats wrong with them!

    I agree 100%. 4-6 people who I directly work with have tattoos (that I know about) Ayer's Joker's way of thinking is probably more cynical than anything. which explains the "damaged". he's not serious about it at all. it's just a bad joke to him.

  I'm expecting multiple looks as well. As Leto works with more of the filmmakers entrusted with bringing the DCCU to life, I'm sure we'll see him and the other characters evolve visually, and perhaps in other ways.

    Not really, while the hair is kind endgame-esque, everything else is basically for the movie, the grill, the tattoos (well, at least those particular tattoos and that many of them), and everything else everybody loves/hates about his new look draws basically nothing from the comics.

      The pale white skin , no eyebrows , Jareds face shape, his eyes etc are all pointers to batman endgame. Joker has had tattoos before so its not a big deal. Certain ones like wing of a dead bird also indicate a history with batman along with the fake teeth .
      Well I do love this jokers hair , lips and some other features. The major tatoo people have a problem with is the damaged one and I think it shows his sense of humor writing the word quite neatly on his forehead in contrast to the words actual meaning. Maybe its because the joker sees damage and chaos as beautiful like in the killing joke. Anyway the joker is open to changing his appearance and experimenting like he took his face off , cut his tongue etc

      "Going dark" implies to most of us that they're doing the rest of the shooting inside the safety of the sound stage, which makes fan pics nearly impossible. Ayer would know when their location work would be completed.
