Suicide Squad filming continued in Toronto last night, but this time Jared Leto's Joker was no where to be seen.
Instead, the new set photos give us a great look at Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Will Smith as Deadshot. It's a little creepy seeing Akinnuoye-Agbaje laughing in his Killer Croc makeup, all while causally sipping water out of a straw.

Why did we not get at least one set photo of batman when BvS was filming.
Its much easier to sell Batman V Superman than Suicide Squad.

Because Zack Snyder used some of that massive BvS budget, to lock that set down, while filming the good stuff (Batman/action stuff).
there were many photos and even videos of the batman v superman filming but warner bros was coming down on everyone with the hammer so blogs were not posting them.
Croc looks great, also Deadshot, but I'd like to see him wearing the mask.
The power of practical effects. Something severely lacking in Marvel movies.. amongst other things..
I think it would be even easier to make an actual crocodile look like a human instead of this hahaha, but it looks AMAZING!

If not for CGI, all of these comic book movies would suck just as they did in the 70's and 80's. Superman 1 withstanding of course. Conversely, compared to todays (CGI) heroe movies like Avengers...the 70,s Superman looks cheeey.

Every picture of Will Smith from the production of this film looks like he's uncomfortable being there. Lots of "WTF" looks on his face haha
To be fair, he is fighting alongside a human size crocodile, a guy who throws boomerangs as projectiles, another guy who uses a rope, a woman who can turn into a magical being and Jokers girlfriend.
I'd have that look as well.
Definitely getting "We're fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow" vibe

Yeah, I think that's just part of the "I'm getting too old for this s**t" action movie cliche. It works for the Deadshot character in this setting. He's a world weary character. He's a professional stuck working alongside freaks.

Remember when Guardians of the Galaxy was being promoted as a film about a team of villains and anti-heroes? I hope we actually get that with Squad.

He's not made of awful CGI like Groot, so no.
It wasn't meant as an insult. His skin texture just really reminds me of the tree man. Have you ever seen that real like guy? His feet and hands look like tree bark.

I have nothing against DC fanboys. I love DC/Vertigo myself. It's when they start calling every single Marvel character a "rippoff" that I get annoyed. "oh my company is so better than yours bla bla bla" *cough* Marvel and DC share the same writers/artists *cough*

They have fans like that on both sides sadly. It has a lot due with the massive success of the films both companies produce. Which produces immature fans who think it's some sort of stupid contest as to which company is superior. I've encountered countless Marvel and DC fanboys when it comes to the comics. I don't tolerate that shit. I can let it slide when it comes to the movies but until they've actually read each and every comic ether company has produced, they have no right to judge. The usual argument from the Marvel fanboys is that the characters are more relatable and the usual argument from the DC fanboys is that DC has been around the longest and all Marvel does is "steal" from them. My response to both of them is; SHUT THE FUCK UP. Fanboys are worse than whinny brats, I swear

There's a difference between being a fan and being a fanboy. If I was, I'd be here ranting all the time about how much DC "sucks"...which is not the case. It's stupid that you can't criticize anything about DC here without being attacked...

I actually loved (and at times defended) the first 2 seasons of Arrow. Sadly the 3rd season took a turn for the worse and I hope they rectify it.
I liked season 1's ending and the beginning to me sucked but season 2's beginning was good but the ending sucked. I agree season 3 was disappointing (this from a guy who after seeing the end of season 2 had low expectations)
Arrow season 4 is going to be like the Green Arrow we know and love from the comics and less like Batman lite. Which is why I absolutely can't wait for Season 4.
I'm not sure about other people on this site, but I actually like Marvel but i also love DC. There's no need to hate on either unless someone is trolling or if it is brought up.

Yet sometimes it can come across looking cheaper than prosthetics. I think practical effects can be done great when in the right hands. Take Edgar from MIB for example. I thought that was great, albeit minimalistic work of having a giant roach slowly rip through the flesh of decaying human skin.

I wasn't talking about the CGI though. I was talking about the practical effects on the roach baddie. And yes, while POTA had good mo cap, for me, after so much of it, it gets distracting.

Now this is more like it! Seeing pictures of Deadshot, Harley, Croc and the others make me feel better about this movie. Especially with the potential action going on (plane crash). But seeing the Joker pics make me nervous

Ok well, I guess it's time to binge watch the first season on Netflix. I'll tell you what I think. USA usually put out amazing stuff like White Collar and Burn Notice.
