Tom Hardy is no stranger to DC Comics projects. He of course starred The Dark Knight Rises as Bane, and was even going to star in Suicide Squad before having to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. But according to a new interview with Collider, Hardy and Warner Bros. are working on another DC Comics project:
I actually got something cooking with Warner Bros. which is also a comic book, itβs a DC thing which is kind ofβ¦ Itβs really good actually, it contains elements of all kinds of stuff. From Oceanβs Eleven, to Batman, you can get all the wrappers out and it would be a big, really cool, Technicolor, Pulp Fictionβ¦Itβs a psychological fuckfest, itβs absolutely awesome. Itβs as if you would take Transmetropolitan and make it happen, but itβs not that out there itβs something which is much more real world. It could be like Heat, it could be fucking awesome. Let me tell you what it is, try and guess.
When asked if this project was one of the DC Comics movies that Warner Bros. announced through 2020, Hardy revealed that this mystery project isn't even a movie:
Itβs not even a movie. Itβs alreadyβ¦ Itβs real estate, itβs PRIME real estate which is sitting there right under everybodyβs nose that no oneβs really thought about yet and it goes TV and movie, itβs awesome. I canβt believe that nobody has even βI know they thought of it but no one has actually blown life into it yet.
Based on these clues, do you have any idea what he could be talking about? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
