It leaked in crappy quality, but today Warner Bros. officially released the first teaser trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice online in glorious HD! Fans who attend the IMAX screening on Monday will be treated to even more footage, according to director Zack Snyder:

Cell Phone v IMAX. IMAX Event BvS fans will still be first & only to see special IMAX BvS teaser #AFewExtraShotsPlusALittleSwag #NotPirated

We get a few awesome shots of Ben Affleck as Batman, a peek at the Batwing and Batmobile, and even get to hear his menacing voice at the end as he says to Superman "Tell me, do you bleed? You will!". I have goosebumps!

  Ok. Definitely still going. Gonna watch the online trailer just to scratch the itch, then go for a double dose of awesome at the IMAX. You guys talked me into it. Along with Snyder lol.

  someone sounds a little butthurt. I bet he wasn't even planning on releasing the teaser to the public (just like they never released the comic-con thing) DC is the worst when it comes to letting fans see trailers.

    They always stated that they were going to release the teaser though. Either with Age of Ultron or Mad Max. Why shouldn't he be butt hurt. You're planning something special for fans to be released on a certain day and it gets leaked early and slightly ruins the suprise.....he has every right to be "butthurt". At least he took his butthurt and decided to put up the HD version online for us to see in the proper way instead of not doing that at all.

      The problem with this idea of "trying to do something special for the fans" is there only doing something special for a tiny tiny fraction
      the FANS in general have been begging for a trailer, or even just a teaser since before the new year.. heck people were frantically checking the superbowl to see if anything would come out
      so the best thing they could possibly do for the fans is release the damn trailer as early as possible for EVERYONE, not some elite few
      How does it benefit all the fans to do stuff for an elite few when that means 99% of the fans won't ever get to see it?
      i might not care so much if it was simply a matter of "we'll show it to them first and then to everyone else later that night"
      but they've had a tendency to not show things EVER to other people (like how the comic-con footage was never officially released and now Snyder is saying the extra 5 seconds of the imax screening will never be put online in a trailer... so how's that fair to everyone?

    i wouldn't say its anything to do with TDKR if u read or watched the Dark Knight Returns u would know that when he fights two-face he uses a sniper with a hook shot at the end but now that i think back it would be cool if this was to link into him breaking into lexcorp and stealing kryptonite but anyway i doubt it has to do with TDKR

      I'm not saying he'll use it exactly like the reference material. We know BvS is influenced by TDKR, but we know it's not the exact same story. We also don't see Batman with a rifle very often, but we do in TDKR, the reference material. Just connecting dots, not looking too much into it.

Supes seems to be kind of a bad guy. The Superman troopers and that statue reminds me of the Injustice plot...

  Exactly what I was thinking man. The way he looked full of his self standing next to day of the dead costumed folk, the way the soldiers kneeled before him and all round kinda menacing presence. Holly Hunters voiceover seems to be against him too.
  It does seem to be going down a more injustice version of Kent rather than the Ronald Reagan loving version of TDK.

    I think both were made to look ambiguous as far as who the "bad guy" is. I have a feeling that when the credits roll, we'll be rooting for both of them...As it should be.

    He looks and acts exactly like Bruce Wayne and he is great as Batman but it's cool if you feel different. Hope you change your mind and end up loving the film by next year

        Say what you will about Affleck but he's got the most square jaw..maybe ever. Any more square he'd look like Jay Leno.
        I was sold on his Bruce look. He looked straight up pissed off. Intimidating.

        To me if anything it's his frame that looks the closest to a Bruce Wayne type, not his face. Must be a thing where he's too well known to be separated from his star brand.

    What I mean is that I can't look at the actor and think Bruce Wayne instead of Ben Affleck. Needless to say, some actors can do this fairly effortlessly, while with others it takes a complete suspension of disbelief.

It looks like the Batmobile converts into the Batplane. If you freeze it at 1:24, the back of the Batplane looks exactly like the Batmobile. Just my opinion. Other than that, looks great and going to be there when it opens. And this is coming from someone who's never cared for Ben Affleck movies...Keeping my fingers crossed that they don't frack this up.

  I looked closely at that Batwing rear end...it has the same massive transaxle or differential/axle that the Batmobile has in the early leaked shots. There would be no reason for that on a dedicated Batwing, so I'm concluding that the Batmobile/Batwing are the same vehicle. It also has the same angled wings/airfoils on the top rear (that look like folded wings).
  I made the attached graphic...because I was bored and thought this would be a neat reference for the discussion.

They start the trailer with Charlie Rose and Neil deGrasse Tyson discussing how controversial and challenging Superman is. Yes. A comic book movie for adults.
