How's this for an absolutely crazy story? Collider is reporting that this Thursday, April 16, Zack Snyder will release a 5 second teaser of the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer on Twitter. Fans will then be able to sign up to watch the full trailer in a theater on Monday, April 20th.

Honestly, this sounds like such a Christopher Nolan thing to do. You have to sign up to watch it at a theater? I really hope Warner Bros. is putting the full trailer online on Monday, April 20th too. Otherwise, get ready to see the first footage from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice from someone's iPhone camera!

Whatever happens, you'll be able to see the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer right here on Batman News as soon as it's released. Stay tuned!

Apparently the BvS trailer is around 2mins 30 seconds. Also heard that there will be TWO trailers, first trailer then Zac Snyder will come on screen in theaters and say something along the lines of "hey guys if you liked that bla bla" then a SECOND trailer will show with an additional 15 seconds, presumably one trailer will be from Supermans pov and the other from Batmans pov, in a similar vein to the MOS trailers, one with Jor-El then another with Pa Kent's voiceover. Perhaps both trailers will show in theaters as a "special" with only one being officially released online then the second a few weeks later, in the original Mad Max date?

I'm so excited for this. I've been waiting for a very, very long time... I check batman-news.com about 10 times a day for these reports, and it's finally happening! I do wonder if it's a better idea than releasing it with "Mad Max." The benefit to that would have been stealing the headlines once "Avengers" has had its 15 minutes of spotlight, but I also don't think "Mad Max" will be nearly as big a release as "Avengers," so why not cunt punt Marvel and steal some headlines WHILE "Avengers" has its spotlight? Fuck that piss-poor excuse for a movie. Bring on the Batman.
