on Confirmed: 'Batman v Superman' trailer is "absolutely" coming with 'Mad Max' in May

Update 04/01/15: Variety has confirmed this report with their own sources. Get pumped!!!

It's finally happening! Collider reports that the first Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer is "absolutely" attached to Mad Max: Fury Road, which will be released on May 15th.

There have been a lot of bogus rumors about the trailer over the past few months, and I've learned a lot about which sites are worth sharing here, but I stand by Collider 100%. If they say it's coming in May with Mad Max: Fury Road, you can count on it!

Ironically, Warner Bros. released a brand new Mad Max: Fury Road trailer today. Check it out!

    Will it be released only in theatrical format , because they would be really restricting themselves in terms of traffic and reach if they don't release it online. And releasing a trailer to a PG 13 movie in a R rated movie doesn't make sense the demographics aren't even the same I just hope they release it online as well around the same time.

        They do because the bootlegs spread insanely fast. Couple of years back they used to wait a weekend before putting it online. Now they either have to release it approximately the same time it's shown in theaters for the first time or before if it already leaks... Which is a pity imo, I don't want a blurry first impression to float around on the internet before the official 1080p one comes out!

    I can't wait to buy my ticket for The Batman VS Superman 30 second trailer. I heard Warner Brothers did something extra nice too and attached something called "Mad Max" to the trailer. Sounds great!

          Actually, I like it for a couple reasons:
          1.) it didn't make sense to present a more accurate interpretation of the character with the themes previously presented in this solo franchise

          2.) opens the door for another interpretation in the shared MCU

          3. a.) Marvel fans seem upset because they got 'cheated' out of a more faithful interpretation

          3.b.) DC fanboys who hate the MCU, hate that they got 'cheated' out of a more faithful interpretation

          3.c.) the dissatisfaction of both fanbases unite them for the same moment

          4.) it reminds me of the Robin John Blake complaints I've heard since TDKR.

            I was expecting it. A buddy of mine saw it beforehand & told me not everything is as it appears. I figured it was Mandarin because of all the question marks him & I had before the movie's release.

            What took me out of the movie were the scenes with the kid. I had flashbacks to what made Superman Returns difficult to watch. #KeepKidsOutOfComicBookMovies

            I like your reasoning but seriously what if in the The Dark Knight, the Joker was actually revealed to be a pawn: a small-time underpaid schizophrenic clown at the circus to do the dirty work while the real Joker was actually Coleman Reese all along. See how ridiculous it sounds.

            The Joker using someone to impersonate him? Actually, no. That could open up the possibility of getting 2 different interpretations of the same character in one movie. That would definitely be a "holy fuck!" moment.

            My problem was the reveal was all played as a joke. Now that I've had some distance from the movie, it's fun to watch, but it still goes for the laugh far too often that it destroys any sense of dramatic tension.

          I just don't believe in the themes established of the IM franchise it would work. Then, you'd be left with a character who was the Mandarin in name only. There'd still be complaints.

          At least this way there's still the possibility of the actual Mandarin in the MCU.

        As someone who thinks The Mandarin is one awesome son of a gun, that horrendous movie is my most hated film of all time. I hate what they did to The Mandarin. I also had several other problems with the movie but that was the cherry on top.
