In a new interview with MTV, The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons was asked which superhero he'd like to play. He wasn't interested in playing the hero, but would like to play a villain -- particularly The Riddler.
The Riddler hasn't appeared in a movie since Jim Carrey played him in 1995's Batman Forever. Would you like to see Parsons take a stab at a dark and serious Riddler opposite Ben Affleck's Batman one day? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

In my opinion Hardy did a "meh" job on Bane. The character should have been cast as a Latin American, not a Brittish guy.
Also, the way he used his voice acting was way beyond forced! (many of those quotes are just ridiculous to me and that's the mistake of the director or screen play writer, though - not Tom Hardy.) Also, don't forget: it's all subjective.
I personally hated all of Nolan's Batman movies, I also hated Inception and Interstellar, it's mainly his way of making a movie that I hate so f-ing much. Just wanted to mention this once again. I'm all in for Affleck - and I think HE WILL BLOW YOUR MIND, Atomic Man!

C'mon, can't you take a little jab? It's just hard to believe someone would hate the whole trilogy. Usually you hear complaints about TDK and TDKR, but most all Bat-fans seem to love BB. Really, it's the perfect Bat-trilogy.

For the EiC of the forum, that sounds odd coming from you. You can clearly see the influences of the source material. You might not like the presentation, but you can't say it wasn't related to Batman.

I seem to be missing the worlds obsession with this dude, he seems to be an average actor in an average show, keep him as far away from franchises that I enjoy as humanly possible.

I've only seen him on TBBT, so I can't comment on his range as an actor. I've seen some episodes of that show, as my wife is a fan. Aside from the 2 blondes, I don't understand how the show continues. The laugh track seems to work overtime.

That doesn't mean a laugh track isn't added in post. I also wouldn't call the number of "inventive" jokes many. In all the episodes I've sat through with my wife, only even caused me to crack a smile.
Like most current sitcoms, the jokes, plots, & bits seem to be reused, reworded, or easy to foreshadow.

Throw some extra design into the costume and makeup and he would certainly look the part. He would have to really intensify his acting style...I could MAYBE see it. Although I think for a lot of people it would be hard to take him seriously as the riddler because of his role as Sheldon on TBBT. It'd be a long shot, but I would give him a chance if he got the role.
I agree with you. He'd be a great Nigma, of course, but the actor I would love to see as The Riddler is Neil Patrick Harris.

NPH? WTF. He couldn't carry the Oscars. He was awful! Keep him away from the Batman franchise. He could kill it like Cloney did. May look good in a drawing or photo shop Riddler but no way. When I saw the first promos of Cloney as Bruce Wayne and Batman I was sold. Boy did he "look" like the comic version. Then the movie came out, enough said.
