      I was thinking when Reggie said that his (and Alfred's) unit was "quiet, precise..." that it was straight from The Dark Knight Returns, when Batman takes control of the Sons of the Batman.

   This show is putting a nice new twist on the Joker's "multiple choice" origin. Is he the bad comedian in the pilot? Jerome Valeska? The bad comedian in Oswald's club? The Red Hood? It'd be cool to see a young gangster named Jack Napier eventually. Maybe a mustached Latin lover in a magenta suit.

   okay Gotham, we're still friends. though i have to laugh at how many beaky-nosed bug-eyed stringy actors they're going to throw at us. still think there's a better chance of oswald turning out to be the Joker than anyone else they've shown so far. i'd take the kid at the end though ~ at least he's bruce's age ~ ha!

   that scene with barbara was just creepy.

   and the kid is still the best thing about this show.

      I was thinking how Oswald looks more like the Joker and Butch looks more like the Penguin tonight. I still think Oswald = Joker is just a crazy fan theory, but it's definitely an interesting one.

      I agree. That was just too much for me. It was getting a bit too gross with the electrocuter then the gland thief but that was the last straw. I am done with this show.

   I'm glad they didn't do it, but part of me kinda wanted the kid who picked up the hood at the end to be Jerome. Haha. But like I said, I'm glad they didn't, cause it would have felt kinda premature for something like that. I did like that they implied that the hood would live on though :D

   Also Fish..she finally did something that made me like her just a little bit more! I finally felt like she did something intelligent that there wasn't much they could do to stop her. :D I'd like to see more of that. Cause I DO want to like Fish, I just...haven't liked her much so far.. haha. Although that was a very....oddly violent scene haha. But that might just be my thing I have about eyes too :P

   Also I feel like I'm liking Barbara better as...not Jim's girlfriend >.> not a lot better but better.

   Also, I'm gonna try to keep track of all the Joker hints that I thought would be throughout the series but all seem to be happening now >.> haha

   Also, I like Butch...He seems cool now (not that he wasn't before) and he has that cool thing about basically being for the club no matter whose in charge of it. But I can't help but always feel like hes hiding something or up to something o.O Its just something about him since hes come back..hmm..

      Everybody complains about Barbara, but Barbara is the ONLY character on this series to have actually had an arc. Every single character on this show is the exact same character they were in #1. Barbara started out as this well put together, everything going for, beautiful and rich socialite. She made one terrible decision and it has led to her total downfall into this broken shell of woman. I am way more interested in seeing how she eventually becomes the woman that Gordon will end up marrying than seeing how that idiotic Fish crap goes.

    I liked seeing what amounts to Bruce beginning to learn from different "teachers". Even if this last teacher was a drunk ex-SAS with PTSD and some ominous connections with Wayne Enterprises. That's kind of F'ed up. I could have sworn that the doctor Fish was referring to was gonna be a Dr. Strange. Darn. I guess Dr. Dahlmocker or however it would be spelled is cool too though.

    I was already laughing at how many thugs in Gotham have those lame eye patches and now THIS? Uggh.

    This whole Fish storyline keeps getting dumber and dumber. There is no way this person should still be alive. They should've just brought her up to the manager guy and shot her. Why would let her live to keep riling up the other prisoners? Cap that bitch.

    First,I would like to say that i never before criticized the series so much as now.I watch it because I am a batman fan and even I know it's not that great I, hope it will get better and that's the reason for me to keep watching it.
    But for the final scene in this episode I really don't want to know what to say.After closing one of the most popular cases in the past few weeks,the detectives and the other police officers take the red hood from the body and they just leave it on the street to be taken by anybody?The same detectives that were anxious that everybody could wear the hood and continue the robberies?I mean aren't these things evidence?Don't they go to the police station file that justifies that the case was closed correctly?
    I know that this is a superhero series but come on man,it's not only for kids, that's not good enough!I don't know maybe i am too harsh.If somebody thinks this can be explained please reply to me,because i simply don't get it :P

    So many Joker red herrings. Mooney gouges out her eyeball. Barbara attempts to groom Selina like some pedophile. Definitely a fish-themed episode.

    And I'm getting the impression that by the time the Joker does show up, we won't know who he is. That's fine with me. It shouldn't happen 'til after Bruce dons cape and cowl anyway.

    I loved that Jeffrey Combs was in this episode, I love that voice, most people think of 'The Re-animator', I close my eyes and all I hear is The Scarecrow from TNBA..."Fear is power" <shivers> but it made me think, if they were going to bring a Batman alumni into the show why wasn't he Gerald Crane in the Scarecrow two-parter, don't get me wrong I thought Julian Sands was great, but it kind of feels like a missed opportunity having a previous master of fear being the father to a young Jonathan Crane. Perhaps the producers weren't really aware and knew he's good at playing evil doctors/scientists.

    Geez this show is horrible, I can't believe such horrible writing makes it on air. But I still have to watch each episode they all have 1 or 2 minutes of absolute genius IMO, that really fall well in line with the Batman mythos... Last episode's scene with Bruce facing the board was awesome, and I thought this episode's scene were Alfred meets his old pal from SAS, and he ends up saying something along the lines of "this place has been good to me" nails the reason why a former sas wardog would stick around for so long around the Waynes. This is the stuff good prequels are made of. But man overall, this show is painful to watch... Oh the wasted potential!! Also Bruce is well played, but I'd say its time to have him show some exceptional abilities on all front... including when dealing with Alfred being in the hospital.
