According to The Wrap, Friday Night Lights star Jay Hernandez is in negotiations to join the cast of Suicide Squad.
Hernandez’s role is being kept under wraps, but The Wrap says it's possible that he could be playing an inmate on the same cell block as The Joker.

I'd rather see Bane left on the bench for a while. He has been in two movies (albeit 'Batman & Robin' was horrible for all involved). The villains catalog is awfully deep....Love to see somebody new
Just paging through my copy of 'The Essential Batman Encyclopedia': Anarchy, Black Mask, Clayface, The Creeper, Dr Death, Firefly, Holiday, Hush, Mr Zsasz, Owlman, Phantom Stranger (doubtful), or Riddler. Those are just the guys that stuck out. If an entire DC Unverse is being created, he could be an Easter Egg as somebody else's villain too.

I just finished watching and Arrow never ceases to amaze. The fact that young Waller is there with a looming possibility of another SS episode is very exciting and now that Atom is finally here there will not be a shortage of suited action
It is actually confirmed I do believe that there will be another SS-centric episode before this season is complete.

Definitely a lot of big things happening. I already learned my lesson of spacing on just 1 episode but this last episode was so great. It's nice seeing old faces again-I won't say who cause I hate spoilers- but you know already. It's also mind boggling seeing the things that happened pre Arrow that we didn't know Oliver experienced or people he saw while everyone thought he was dead
It was nice to put a face to Andy Diggle's name.
I really dug this episode. It fired on all cylinders. I was pleasantly surprised by how the interactions between Quentin and Laurel would go after he found out. There's friction between them but it didn't become melodramatic.
On an unrelated note, anyone noticed that there's been more Suicide Squad news tidbits than BvS as of recently? Mean anything?

Probably means that they don't think really have to sell BvS to the public this early in..which they don't. It is a good idea to to get get tidbits out of this movie though. At least we know it's being taken seriously.

i wanted a guy taller and more physical guy than Ben Affleck to play bane, first i thought it would be Dwayne and now he is Black Adam and then i wished maybe Joe Manganiello but now it looks like he's closer to Death Stroke if the trades are to be believe, you see i really want to see a mature relation between between batman and bane on screen, which wasn't done properly in TDKR.

cell block and cell mate are two very different things. Most of the notorious criminals have usually shared a cell block... but, as far as I know, none have actually had a cell mate.
Not solitary confinement as in a cell below ground all by himself but as in he has a cell of his own, yes. But most of Arkham's most dangerous do. It's very similar to, let's say, clayface's cell in the first Arkham game... or Calendar Man in the Long Halloween. Although in a cell all by themselves, they are in a cell block (let's call this Cell Block B) where their cell is right next to or across from another super villain's.
A cell mate? Either the Joker is locked up in Arkham Asylum, or GTFO!
I'd be shocked if the movie doesn't end up with Harley Quinn betraying the Squad, and her and Joker on the run.
