Cara Delevingne reportedly seeing a shrink to prepare for 'Suicide Squad' role

February 17, 2015

Model/actress Cara Delevingne is seeing a psychotherapist to prepare for her role as Enchantress in Suicide Squad, Daily Star reports.

“She’s dedicated to doing her research for the movie and has been seeing her psychotherapist every day. Her character is very dark so she has a lot to learn about the way to act. To her, it’s hilarious because in real life she’s really cheery and laid-back, so she is struggling with the idea of playing a character so opposite.”

Comic Book Movie points out that in the comics when Delevingne's character is not possessed by the evil Enchantress entity, her true identity is the kind-hearted June Moone. It seems like that characteristic will translate on-screen.

Daily Star's report also says that Delevingne is a big fan of Suicide Squad director David Ayer, and that working with Will Smith and Jared Leto is a dream come true.

Suicide Squad is scheduled to begin filming in mid-April in Toronto. As always, stay tuned to Batman News for all the latest production news!

In all seriousness, I think she's going to hit this role out of the park. She's been noted for modeling with a certain dark kind of unconventional style, regardless of her self proclaimed "cheeriness", so I know it'll translate well into the film.

You're fine, just right-click and open the link in another tab. Side note though, how did you manage to find a somewhat high-res shot of that Batman photo? Or did you just sharpen the image?

The far shoulder of Batman looks off to me. You can see where the cape would be draped across, but the shoulder doesn't appear visible. Also, what is that strange median running horizontally across the throat of his cowl? that wasn't visible before...

100%. The whole cast seems like somebody messed up the press release and now they're stuck with it. Will should've been Flag, Tom should've been Deadshot, Cara should've been Harley, Robbie should've been Enchantress and Jai should've been Thug #5.

So if the rumors are to be believed, she's not actually part of the Squad, but rather the target in the mission. I'm definitely keen for this.Clearly at some point she's gonna lose her shit and become the enchantress, while we get to see will smith's "oh shit" face

Some private thoughts should remain private. Or better yet some men ought to stop viewing women as only sexual objects. It doesn't sound like any consideration was given for whether or not she wanted anything, "slipped in her mouth".
    Comes off rapey.
