Alfred is an ex-Marine in Gotham, and he kicks some serious ass in the big fall finale. FOX has released five clips from next week's episode of Gotham, titled "LoveCraft". Check them out below along with a full synopsis.
Selina leads a new friend on a perilous journey through Gotham to evade the assassins on her trail. Following a misstep, Gordon is reassigned to duty at Arkham Asylum in the all-new “Lovecraft” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Nov. 24 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

And what a treat it is to watch those kids act -- not forced at all. Real good chemistry.
Harvey Dent is way over his head. He's acting very stupidly and hot headed. He comes off as a massive dumbass. He's a stupid nerd. He has the knowledge in his field, but not wisdom and he acts purely off of emotion. He could use that knowledge in the system a lot better. You would see that with Gordon and Bullock they're both kind of stupid too, but not nearly as stupid. The gangs want to take advantage of their stupidity to further corrupt them. The gangs make this a game, where instead of killing everyone they put them in positions to better stabilize and strengthen those gangs' power. The gangs are also putting the pressure on eachother, in order to weed out the cannon fodder and get a better combined stronghold in Gotham City to fortify their power gain in that city. I can see that leading into Two-Face. Harvey Dent has his own issues, and a hidden criminal nature in his double faced side with his coping issue. That issue has been hurting his life and his career alot, and as the pressure mounts that's when he turns to Two-Face which that identity has taken years to fully show. Two-Face chooses that identity when he is defeated, and when his face is warped where he loses faith and the Harvey Dent identity gives up to shame. He was always kind stupid at his lawyer role. He wanted to get the gang to reveal themselves by telling them he knew the killer, so that he could find out if it is the gang. But then he should know that if he's right, then he's good as dead, so it was a stupid short sighted move. In real life a lot of roles like that are really stupid, so I can see that type of corruption being used on them. The gang might already know who the witness is and go after them so that Harvey Dent can't go any further. Or they might feel it's safe enough for them to just threaten Harvey Dent and force the information out of him who the witness is. I'm not sure how they find out it's Selina Kyle, if they already somehow knew if she's been in those circles and she's supposed to keep her mouth shut, if they find out from Harvey Dent or someone else, and Harvey Dent almost gets Selina Kyle, Bruce Wayne, Alfred, and maybe others killed. Since even most professionals are really stupid like this in real life, and don't use better approaches, the show is capturing real life of how this would work. It gets into the science, and apart of that science is how incredibly stupid people are. There's a better path to take, and the show is depicting that too where people have a choice and they can sense in their guidance of what choice to choose. It shows people have so much more freedom and control of their reality for what they can make of it. Men and women with degrees and high paid positions can be very stupid and immature like that, because they think their money, status, and their expensive college education gives them God status and they think they know everything. Alfred would need more than Marine training to survive this. Did he have military experience in the USA, Europe, or both? He must have had other experience too, as he seems a lot more professional than just Marines. He could have been in specialized groups of Marines. I don't know if they have anything like Marines in Europe, and it could be different now or in the past. In the past USA Marines could have been a lot better, because a lot of their standards became illegal by today's standards so they had to remove them, and make it the low quality branch. The Marines now in day have a false reputation as being this tough capable branch, when from what I've heard they're the lowest quality branch that may be costing too much money and may not be needed at all. I don't like how the USA churches things up like that and lies about the poor quality to the people, which is leading to major degradation in this country. It would be much better if this country were purely honest on everything, and then the people of this country would get a radical new reality because of it with great improvement. Instead people are basing their belief systems on mediocrity and lies they purely force their denial making everyone else the stupider, screwing better quality people from reproducing, and getting mounds of low quality people to over produce low quality children. If the Gotham show reveals those realities by showing all of the stupid, and then showing the intelligence to overcome it, then the show can accomplish great things. By lying about the system makes things worse as that's denial, and so the show can show the truth of things instead. Intelligence, and having a good team strategy is a lot more important than short sightedness and operating outside of logic for force. If you have to hide everything you're saying you join with a bunch of people to do, when someone can simply look at you and those people and point out everything, but so many people are getting like that bunch where they get to the point of faking morality, and faking intellectualism by forcing the image, but not having any real foundation beliefs so they just act like trash, but well paid people including in college education are doing this alot where there's too much social corruption in the thought systems. Yet for what they think they know, they collect with a bunch of people for a fake type of protection, they plan and manipulate with that bunch of people, and then they completely ignore any truth any person with common sense would tell them that those people are just lies. If there are European Marines back then they could have been a lot better. Now in days for most of US Marines they get people that aren't good enough for the other military groups, and they're the less mentally and physically capable people for the front lines. I've even heard the other military branches were thinking about removing the Marines because they're useless including money expense wise, the other branches can better do those services, and it's just a waste of money. But like any branch there can be those better sects of the Marines, so the more bright people will be much more effective and capable in the Marines, and be more of the specialized Marines, but the Marines as a whole is low quality. Marines get the worst scores and performance. I think they also get the worst job opportunities. I don't have respect for someone just because they join the military, and in many cases they use it as an excuse while they're just as bad as before they joined the military, where the military would be wise to have much better standards if it wants more success and to better utilize it's money, instead of making it a welfare program extension. The person makes the person, nothing else makes the person. People that join the military can be even more cowardly and weak than people outside of the military, so the military now in days can attract a lot of low quality people like a welfare system extension. A lot of those men and women are in denial of their low quality nature, and it just weakens the US image, but they don't show that on the media. The media and the military lies to you by not showing this, and by letting those problems grow worse. It can be easy to out think, out gun, out wit, out strengthen, out speed, and out endurance military members. A lot of those problems are to do with other issues in the USA system too. It just leads to major decay in the USA and it's growing Liberalism and all of the problems that brings, or it should be better called communism. The rich spoiled millionaires are exploiting and destroying the rest of the classes turning this country into more and more ghettos, where 40 years down the line this country will have no future. False bravery, denial, and lies won't fix anything, it will just make it worse. A lot of those low quality military people will end up costing the system a lot more with the health problems they get due to their laziness, and also with psychological and physical injuries they'll get in battle because they're way too mediocre as individuals, that will put the USA into trillions of dollars more of debt. How can a military person consider themselves a patriot and veteran when they're stupid, cowardly, weak, in denial, and end up costing the country millions of dollars while they also add many more problems to the country, and have nothing to offer the country whatsoever? They'll go to war and get all kinds of war injuries, but they got a lot of their men killed, they didn't do anything against the enemies, and they end up costing the system so much money while when they get out of the military they talk anyone that's intelligent and capable out of ever going to the military, because all of the massively stupid people are hoarding the military just like the mediocre media and all the problems the mediocre spoiled rich millionaire media creates. They're just stupid bums that went to the military and stole the military's money for their worthless selves when they served in the military with only low quality. Most men and women that die and get injured in battle are those that are more stupid and mediocre, kind of like when you go to fight someone and they back down when they're way over their heads but you're just going to give them a simple ass kicking, a lot of those military men are like those people that back down to something they start and they're stupid scrawny morons that won't do a simple fight without lies and deception because they're so pathetic, and they avoid the simple ass kicking they would receive because of what lousy people they are, and our country keeps heroizing them I have no idea why it's bizarre. It's that this country is moving towards so much greed by creating and preying on ignorance by forcing that reproduction of people into the future. If those mediocre people stopped joining the military, all aspects of the military would greatly improve. Can those military men and women stop lying, and say how stupid and mediocre they still are after being in the military and war; the military can't fix that in people, instead of the military lying to people about that. I've seen it too much where I provide the information, I will simplify it and explain it, but those lousy people (not always in the military a lot of the time but those lousy types are everywhere) are too set on their trash, and the country backs up their trash and lies. They drive nice vehicles but they're still trash, just look at them. I tell those lousy people their lies, showing I can easily see it and what they're doing, and they got this trashy strategy for avoiding it, and people in the educated fields are doing this so much it's bizarre I wish you would stop supporting them because this country is developing a system that doesn't work.

He's an ex royal marine, commando, and special service that if you bothered to read the actor's interview said he was also seconded to SAS
My friend bashes this show for no reason. He's only seen episode one. I told him about this episode and he was like "So it doesn't bother you that when Batman and Catwoman were kids, they were kidnapped together?" And I was like "No, why would it?"
And about Alfred, he was all "I don't like how they're making him an action hero, that's not who Alfred is." He said he likes the older Alfred who gives wise advice, and that he's okay with Alfred kicking ass as long as it's something going down at the manor.
I got very upset with this.
ALFRED IS A BADASS. He's former British special forces and not just a field medic. He has no problem using guns and he is a good shot. While not physically imposing, the guy knows how to fight. So you better freaking bet that when YOUNG BRUCE WAYNE gets captured, Alfred is gonna be on the job.

Alfred used his particular set of skills, to clean house! "Poison" Ivy Pepper is SO adorable! I definitely wanna see more of that character next year. I love the little Bruce and Selina relationship. Bruce might even get to home base by the end of Season 1.

The Isley (I refuse to call her Ivy) Bruce and Selina exchange was cringeworthy but the other stuff makes up for it.
I personally loved the bit at the end.. "Why are you scared of her, she's just a little girl?" "Because she's scary, now don't look back!" The idea that Ivy is too f'd up for Selina to handle even at this age is awesome.
It almost looks like Alfred punched that woman just for staring at Bruce and Selina. Though, of course, his instincts were right.
