'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' heads to Chicago, Zack Snyder to return to Detroit for 'Justice League'

on 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' heads to Chicago, Zack Snyder to return to Detroit for 'Justice League'

A few days ago Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice wrapped up in Detroit, Michigan, the place it called home for almost a year. Zack Snyder called into a Detroit radio station to thank the city for hosting them, and he was also interviewed by WXYZ Detroit, which you can watch in the video above. Snyder said that they'll "absolutely" return to Detroit for Justice League.

Now the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cast and crew will make their way to Chicago, Illinois. Henry Cavill has already been spotted in the city taking photos with fans at restaurants and bars. The Batmobile has been spotted at well, so there's a good chance we'll see it tearing up the streets of Chicago very soon. Filming in Chicago is scheduled to begin this week. While in the state of Illinois, the crew will also be filming at the Kent Farm set in Yorkville.

We're getting towards the end, but it's not over yet! Stay tuned to Batman News for all the latest Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice production news.

      Ya Han is a great composer.I liked him even before batman by the music of Spirit :Stallion Of Cinnamon(2002).Movie didnt click much but the soundtrack was awesome.And then came "The Dark Knight trilogy.The music he made was just epic.
      The theme for Man of Steel was good and i likedd it but it didnt surpass Dark knight trilogy theme for me.
      I wish the soundtrack for BvS will surpass all.Thanks :)

          no this is the exact same batmobile, the shape is just identical and look closely they are tires not chains.

            the tires are the same, the front still has the gun and the cockpit is also at the exact same location, so this is the same batmobile. this is just from a different angle that makes it look little different.

            dude let me tell, you the last part has retractable wing kind stuff, so it can be up like it was in set photos or it can be lowered down, as it looked like a retractable wing, so that's why it might look a little different, but there is no need to have another batmobile, it would make more sense to have another batplane not a batmobile, so i am sure it is the same batmobile, but let's wait and see.

            You are little confused. That first photo with black tarp is new photo. It is probably second batmobile. I mean second design. And my another photo where two batmobiles are covered those two batmobile are same design. That is old photo. That is the batmobile what we have seen from sets. They use two batmobile on the set based on same design. What i am talking about here this new photo. What i am saying is different model. And it is different if you look closely.

            I think that's an old photo, probably with the stripped-down stunt car that was seen in some shots.

            I was thinking the same, they did use two Batmobile on set and later displayed the stunt car.

            Yeah. But it is easy to notice that this vehicle is not same from the set. That was down. And it's shape is like that. And the uncovered wheel part is looks like chain man. On facebook,admin of 'Henry Cavill Online' also agree with me.

            but why another Batmobile when he already has one, maybe a Batplane would make more sense, considering he's now in a world filled with meta humans.

            I still think there'll be a Batplane of some kind, but perhaps one of the Batmobiles gets destroyed by Supes and Bats needs to use the other? Or maybe Robin uses this one like she uses the Bat Tank at end of the Dark Knight Returns?
            Could be laced with Kryptonite for protection?

            Or this might not even be a Batmobile, the silhouette reminds me of an armored Humvee or something similar.

            Who knows that first batmobile is not automatic? I don't think that batmobile Batman drive. That is for patroling in Gotham at night. I just don't like first one.

            i understand that you like tank or armor type design but frankly speaking the Batmobile that was revealed was fucking awesome, it looks like a highly advanced and futuristic piece of vehicle and it is everything that a Batmobile should be or was in the comic. but i don't think that Batmobile was a drone, as it makes no sense for a vehicle to be a unmanned patrol and monitoring device, maybe a Bat Drone (robot) might be a better fit for that.

            The first batmobile is look great from sides. But from above looks shit. The problem is front wheels are not big. At least not that fat. It feels weak overall. But that batmobile will massively driven by effects,so it will look cool,but in real life it is not destructive or that special anything. Nolan's batmobile will destroy it totally if clash face to face and can go over the vehicle. Where Nolan's batmobile did not need effects to blow peoples mind.

            first and foremost post processing will be needed for every Batmobile or Batplane or Batpod no matter how destructive or how functional it is, they'll need a minimum of 40% post processing visual aid and remaining 60% is the actual vehicle, so every batmobile made in now in movies, all of them are capable of achieving 100 KPH and will have great breaking and suspension mechanism plus also a strong and durable outer shell. all those are mandatory for every batmobile, without which it cannot be used, so in real life all the Batmobiles are more or less equal but when it comes to movies, that's where the real treat is and we all know the Batmobile will be more stunning and funtional on screen :)

            The silhouette looks different.. lower back, boxier in the middle and the four tires look the same size, different thread and aligned unlike the already released batmobile. Looks smaller too on that flatbed trailer in comparison.

      @disqus_gOh9cjvfbF:disqus,@hideyourkidshideyourwifi:disqus@disqus_KNjdoaABdn:disqus My theory is there will be definitely 2 batmobiles.I was watching Dark Knight returns again and took this screenshot.This Batmobile was the old one which batman doesnt use in the movie but he must have used that when he was young.They just show it for few seconds in the movie.
      So considering the story telling of MoS the storytelling was going back and now.
      So in BvS while introducing Batman they might go back to the past to show off how he used to fight crime rather than just jumping into a fight with Superman.Then that Batmobile may come up in the present he might show up with a new Batmobile.
      Or else if Robin rumors are true,Robin might be using that in Gotham when Bruce has his own Batmobile while he's else where in the World.So i'm almost sure that they'll be 2 batmobile and i'm counting that the new Batmobile will fly as well.
      Also i doubt that the suit they showed for Baman must be his old suit when he was young and in now he'll have 2 new suits 1) Armor to take on Superman and 2)New 52 suit as normal batman.
      So that means 2 Batmobiles and 3 Batsuits.

      But thats just me overthinking.Thanks :0

        I'm gonna say that both are both. Parts of Detroit and Chicago (if I remember right) were Gotham in the Nolan verse. And the Eli and Edythe Board Art Museum which is rumored to be Lex's house party place is in East Lansing, which is an hour and a half away from Detroit. Gotham still has it's skyscrapers too, as well as it's dirty streets and less pleasant neighborhoods. Also, since Metropolis was destroyed in MoS, who knows what it looks like now! (Similar but maybe a lot different. CGI might spruce it up a bit.)

            Did you think what lavel vibration created world engine that is enough for destroy whole city and other areas? I think there going to be this mistake. After that long time vibration if they show anything survive,buildings,it will be technical mistake. But some buliding survived. We have seen at the end of the film Clark goes in Daily Planet. It is scientifically wrong totally. If there is 10.0 or 12.0 earth quake everything will be destroyed. But that world engine create far far more strong power which covert whole city and other near areas in powder! Zack made a mistake here!

          That's more but I'm not sure how much more, 125 would be my guess, I was a featured xtra in a movie once and received 275 a day but I was actually shooting a gun and even had a death scene , no lines though

    I hope that Jake Gyllenhaal gets a chance to be the next joker Nightcrawler should be the audition tape not only is it one of the best movies of this year he's in the run for an oscar for his portrayal...side note his sister plays Rachel in The Dark Knight also I just learned that Jake Gyllenhaal is Heath Leadgers daughter's god father and Jaime Lee Curtis is Jakes god mother that's crazy

      This is the one casting suggestion that you have made that I agree with. Apparently he is creepy as hell in Nightcrawler. Also I'm a big fan of his film choices (Prisoners, Zodiac, Donnie Darko, End of Watch and Source Code).

        The more time goes on and the more we are seeing of Batman's involvement in the movie.. the less I think there will be a superpowered villain (Metallo, doomsday etc). I think it'll just be Batman v superman with lex stiring shit or getting in the middle of things.
