Earlier this month Nicholas D'Agosto was cast as Harvey Dent in Gotham, and now DC All Access has caught up with the actor on the set. D'Agosto talks about his take on the character, and even does Harvey's trademark coin flip. They also talk with star Ben McKenzie and give a tour of the massive GCPD Gotham set. Check it out!

Boo fucking hoo, the show didn't follow your narrow-as-hell view of Batman and now you're butt fucking hurt.
Stop whining like a pathetic DC fanboy and learn to appreciate that people are trying to create their own vision of Gotham. In this universe, Gordon would already have met these villains in their younger selves. And Batman turns out younger than his villains. So? Does that make you so unable to accept what they've created that you would rather cut off support for the show and later complain why DC doesn't have confidence in its properties when they cancel the show due to low ratings?
People are allowed to take liberties with comic book characters. That's the beauty of the medium. Some of the most popular Batman stories have been Elsworld-like. Think about it. Reinterpretations are exciting and keep the medium alive.
So please, just open your mind for a bit and realise this is a DIFFERENT world they are creating. No one is saying this is the canonical or definitive Batman story. It is THEIR version.
In my opinion? I love it. I think it's interesting how they've almost made Bruce Wayne a mini Batman with all his detective work as a kid. It's almost like an Elseworlds storyline where Batman exists in the form of a kid, named Bruce Wayne.

Exactly. They've done WAY crazier stuff in Elseworlds tales, and everyone just kind of goes along with it. For some reason, people are acting like the creators of GOTHAM are going to ruin their precious Batman. THIS SHOW DOES NOTHING TO THE INTERPRETATIONS THAT YOU PREFER!!! IT'S NOT DC COMICS "CANON"!!!

Does anyone actually KNOW how old the characters are supposed to be or are folks just complaining because, hey, the internet?

Will someone just make the guy playing Jim Gordon to grow a freaking mustache....

They addressed that in one of the interviews with Heller and Cannon; they feel Gordon hasn't earned the mustache yet.

Perfect Dent imo, just wish Wayne was the same age -_-

Every villain will be 20 years older than Bruce, just unfair to me. When he becomes Batman he'll be at his prime while Penguin, Two-Face, Joker etc... will be 50- 80 years old.

But the villains have henchmen!

I'm sure you're aware that can be taking care of easily.

How I feel about every creative decision made regarding this show:

People complaining that him and bruce NEED to be around the same age need to be more flexible. The arkham series is beloved by almost all batman fans and if u look at two face in the arkham knight stills, he (along with riddler) could realistically be 10 years + older than bruce. Look past ages, Gotham's a great show :D (IMO)
