The cast of Gotham was at PaleyFest in NYC last night to talk about their hit new show. Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Robin Lord Taylor, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sean Pertwee, Zabryna Guevara and executive producer Danny Cannon all spoke about their experience working on the show so far. You really need to stop what you are doing. This is DC area and if you don't have interest in DC then don't come. Why wasting your time? Why calling himself 'neutral' and indirectly attacking DC from Marvel side? You don't have the power to defeat me with conversation which have logic and true facts. If you do this because you are some guy who collect money from Marvel or other side then it is okay. But if not,then seriously pal there is something going very bad in you.
How was that a slight against DC? How was that to commend Marvel? I merely stated a lot of fanboys (not just for comic books) seem to want him in their movies. SciFi fans are big on him too.

In one of recent post here you said you think c3 is big event than bvs. Your have zero interest in DC. You will go to see c3 first if both films release same day etc etc. Only Marvel fans can say these. You need to declare now you are a Marvel lover more than DC. Enough 'neutral' drama!
I didn't say Cap 3 was a bigger event then BvS:DoJ; reread the post.
I DID say if the two were being released the same weekend & I could only see 1, it would be Cap 3...noting my wife (who I go to movies with) has no interest in BvS, but does with Marvel Studios movies. I wouldn't force her to see a movie shes not interested. How about "comic book fans who like both companies who likes his wife happy on date night" would say that?!

Yup, she liked Nolan's trilogy...or at least she likes Liam Neeson & Heath Ledger.
My wife also likes RDJ. She's liked the Marvel a Studios movies since Iron Man. In fact, the only reason I saw GotG in theatres is because she saw "Marvel Studios" on the advertising. She likes Indiana Jones & Star Wars movies; which have the same tone as Marvel, so yeah, she likes Adventure movies.
She's not an Affleck fan, nor a Superman fan.
I cannot wait until Captain Marvel is in theatres to see how you backspin the whole "childish & lighter" comments.
Suggest her notable DC works from comics,animation,TV. Aqnd he play games than suggest Batman: Arkham game series. Then see what is her opinion on DC and Marvel entirely seen in all fields work. Not only live-action films. And you mention Liam and Heath. If she like Nolan Batman films for them only then i must say she actually failed to capture central idea of Nolan films.
Is she follow serious films? I mean mastepiece,great films etc? If she follow great filmmamers works then you can suggest Satyajit Ray,Bergman,Kurosawa,Eisenstein,Chaplin,Kubrick,Spielberg,Scorsese,Polanski,Nolan etc. I am just saying.
She doesn't read comic books, we don't play video games, watch TV series, & the only cartoons we (painstakingly) watch are with our 18 month old daughter.
She enjoyed the Nolan trilogy, but initially wanted to see them because of those actors. My wife has some interest in Batman (not enough for BvS:DoJ), & pretty much zero interest in the other DC characters.
Both of us enjoy entertaining movies; serious, comedies, adventure, whatever. Neither of us give a fuck about any awards for the movie or individual awards.
And I've never heard of those names.

Yes, but those weren't the names I recall being suggested to me.
The only Kubrick movie I recall seeing was 2001: Space Odyssey...I thought it was a joke when "Intermission" came on screen. I was so bored by that point, I thought the movie was a level of Hell missed by Dante.
And tell her Ben and Cavill bas far far more strong,well-shaped body than Rober Downey. And i think yoh told me she like Momoa too. So she has a reason to see bvs! :-)
So I should tell my wife a guy on a Batman website finds Affleck & Cavill way more strong & well-built then RDJ, so she should also be attracted them instead? That's going to be a hard sell for my to convince of that based on your opinion.
She would disagree with you about RDJ...it's not just his looks, but his personality; neither Affleck or Cavill (which she has no idea who he is) has it.

My wife isn't swallow, muscles aren't what see focuses on. After seeing him in Conan, I'd prefer to see him stay away from the comic book genre.

He wouldn't be a bad choice, but I'd go with Peter Dinklage, his voice is just ideal.
Leave voice. What is actual voice that will not matter in film. Voice can change with technology. They can use his voice with appropiate voice if he don't have that in real. Acting skills,personality etc important.
I couldn't disagree more. Brainiac would have to be created with some sort of CGI, because someone in a suit just isn't gonna cut it, (although I think that the actors face should be incorporated as much as humanly possible.) and while I agree the voice should perhaps be altered a little, It's also crucial to find someone with a decent base talent like Dinklage, he has the voice, and undoubtedly the acting chops and personality.
Dinklage is not Brainiac material. He can make great Darkseid may be. He don't have the bone structure of Brainiac. Cumberbatch have. If you see Brainiac how can you think Dinklage dude as him? I think he can make some serious legacy with Darkseid. And his voice will be really really great as him.
You don't seem to grasp the impact CGI has on roles now, look at James Spader, he won the Ultron role with just his voice. Dinklage would be an amazing Brainiac, Cumberbatch would make a better Darkseid than Braniac, his voice doesn't suit an android like character.

Yap. He looks tall in TDKR. I think they will use some techonology and look Eisenberg tall. Because he is too short. 5'7 may be. Where Cavill is 6'1. Ben is 6'4. At least Lex need to be 5'11.
That's why it doesn't matter if Dinklage has a big face (which I don't get...long face, not really big), he could still play Brainiac.
To me Cumberbatch is more close to the character of Brainiac. I think Dinklage is more Darkseid material. Specially his face. His strong jaw also. Do you see Darkseid? If you see then you can think him as him.Specially Dinklage voice is so powerful and dominating. Perfect with Darkseid man.
I'll have to disagree with you. I've seen both Dinklage & Darkseid and they don't share any resemblance. I've always picture Darkseid with a deep, low voice, which is why Michael Ironside was perfectly voice casted.
I think he will join DCCU. In which role it is impossible to confirm now. But he will play any part. It will be great if he take Brainiac. And he will soon introduced. You know,this is other area of discussion,i don't want any enemies to die in DCCU now. Zod is dead it is all right. But not more. I mean if they exist it will be great,because they can make dramatic come back in somewhere sometimes,it will interesting. I really will miss Zod in future. If he exist it will be great to see. After what performance Shannon deliver as Zod. It is okay they died later but after we have enough of them. :-)

I dont think Harley will come so soon, but what yoy told is right and give sense to explore her history.
All last week they've been setting up to start filming at the Metamora location. They've had a crew running electrical cables back to the lake and have beefed up security so hopefully that's where they'll be next

Hey Batman-News, is it just me, or did the regulars on this site used to be a lot less immature? Seems like four out of every five comments is name-calling, insults, or other flaming. I've been following you guys since we were all desperately waiting for each new rumor or announcement about The Dark Knight sequel... just seems like there are a lot of idiots on here now drowning out the cool people. I suppose that's the joy of freedom of speech... :P
Long time poster and I totally agree. This place has grown to be about as bad AICN talkbacks. That's what happens when something gains popularity. More readers, more posters, more jerks.
I recently got rid of my account and started posting as a guest. Under my regular name I had quite a few people here I considered internet pals. We might not always agree but we could respect each other's opinions, debate them and joke around with each other. But posting as a guest, these exact same people routinely attack my opinions for not falling in line and talk in such harsh tones. I find it very odd. Enlightening, but odd.
And then there's the two camps where if you like something you're called a sheep who likes everything and if you don't like something you're a troll or hater and you need to go suck Marvel's ass. Don't you dare actually form an opinion on a case by case basis. That's crazy talk!
