'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' to film at exotic looking Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum (photos)

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder was spotted scouting the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum this past January, and now it looks like it'll officially be part of the movie.

Lansing State Journal reports that there's currently construction going on outside the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, and that a construction worker said he's part of the crew setting up for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice filming. The museum announced on its website that it will be closed October 13-20th — the week that includes local filming — for "a private rental."

The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum is a very exotic looking building, both inside and out. Check out some photos in the gallery, and let me know what you think the museum might be used for in the comments below!

What a beautiful building/construction!!! I love it! Maybe they will use it as Superman's Fortress of Solitude?

  "Beautiful"? It's spatially an inefficient cow and it's an eyesore in the area. Museums are the most embarrassing blights in modern architecture (which is sort of like being the biggest freak in the circus freakshown....which is sort of saying that that museum is Killer Croc).

    That wasn't Fortress of Solitude, it was a spaceship! Kal-El/Clark/Superman/The Alien will have a Fortress in Batman v Superman. I'm pretty sure of it. 😉

        Perhaps a little too modern looking but it would definitely work, makes me wonder how much screentime is going to be dedicated to Batman, I thought it would open like the animated series special with him arriving in Metropolis. But with Alfred and Wayne Manor and the GCPD it looks like a section is going to be taking place in Gotham. Unless it's just Bruce contacting Alfred at the cave.

    plus it is logical to have a base of operations which is far from access by humans and governments, considering DC heroes have secret identities to protect whereas Marvel characters don't and also having a hall of justice right in the center of the city is downright ridiculous i mean fans, angry civilians, villains and government would be at their doorstep 24/7.

      Well, so far the characters in Marvel Studios movies don't really have secret identities.
      And I believe vol. 2 of Justice League of America (post Infinite Crisis & OYL), the Hall of Justice was introduced in the source material.

    You may be right. Or it also wouldn't be unheard of for a movie of this budget to spend 7 days shooting a coffee cup. Its likely the set for some sort of robbery, bank heist, etc where Bats or Supes comes in to save the day early in the film

      this doesn't look like a bank or treasury building by any means and more over yeah Big budget movies they take a lot of time to shoot movies,normally one page a day(1 page = 1 minute of screen time) and they are shooting here for a week with many sets that are being built as we speak, so i don't think this is just a blink and you miss kinda stuff.
