FOX has released a new Gotham trailer featuring lots of footage from future episodes and it may just be the best one yet!
The new trailer teases serial killer Victor Zsasz, a mob war between Maroni and Falcone, and lots more. Is that the Scarecrow that shows up around the 1:19 mark?

Huh? Derp! Zsasz is already a full grown psycho? And he goes to the police department to confront Gordon in front of everyone? Common sense says, bitch gon get shot. Which is incredibly stupid. I refuse to believe that they will go in that direction for the character.
Zsasz was a rich man before going psycho, he will not been a man soo easy to be touched, the show is been acurate in following the same route.

actually, they could have Gordon and Bullock investigating the death of Thomas' parents. that would make much more sense than Riddler, Catwoman, Ivy, and the Joker.

They can't all be the same or younger age then Bruce. If they were they could not do as interesting as a story.
Or they could, I don't know, have different villains. Go their own way while peeking into the future at points instead of relying completely on the villains we know.

That would have been awful. Imagine Bruce going off to some prep school and all his villains being their in their prepubescent stage. I think it'll work. Bruce is 12, let's say he'll be Batman in about 10 years, the majority of his villains will be in their mid to early forties when he starts kicking their asses. I think it works.
That was never the impression I got reading the source material. I always read, with a few exceptions, for the rogues to be the same age range of Batman.
yeah ~ maybe a few were olders: Ras and even Penguin, but the rest seemed like they should be very close in age (or even younger!).
I think The Riddler should be younger. I am hoping the Joker will be younger as well. Maybe in his late teens.

I agree, but my point is that I am thinking with the Gotham TV series it'll work. Yeah, it would have been nice to see all of them at a younger age, but the actors they've gotten so far to play the characters - particularly the exceptional actor playing Oswald - make for far more interesting people. The young actor playing Bruce Wayne is amazing, but I think it would have been odd seeing a bunch of kids running around, losing their minds. LOL.

Don't think so. That's from last nights episode. I think the "joker clue" was the young boy Selina Kyle cheered up on the bus but I could be wrong.
The kid on the bus? WHY would you think that? The random dude talking to Mooney, was the Joker clue. In the pilot, it was obviously the stand-up comedian.
It definitely wasn't the guy talking to Mooney. He was fat and was her henchmen. He had a purple tie that's the only Joker thing about him.
It may not have been the kid on the bus but it wasn't the other guy either.
Well IF that report was true, that literally EVERY episode, will have some guy that will have some obscure Joker-like thing about him. Then I'll go with the big dude, that was wearing the purple tie. The randomness just stood out to me. The fact that he even had dialog. I could be wrong, but I'm probably not. It was a great episode, either way.
I'm pretty sure he Joker clue in the 2nd episode was the guy who got called "a clown"...
If you haven't guessed yet, they are taking the approach that there will be an unnamed character in each episode that will be a clue. But in true Joker fashion, we will never know which one is the true origin. So it could be the comedian from episode 1, and it could be the kid from episode 2. I prefer the this approach to them actually trying to tell us that one is definitely him.
So far my favorite villains on this show are Bad Writing Man and Jada Pinkett Smith's Batman 66 style of acting.

The most cringy line in the history of this universe was this exchange between Bruce and Gordon in the pilot: "I'm learning to conquer fear"/"Fear doesn't need conquering". Ugh. Makes me want to puke.
So far this show has been very meh, with occasionally horrible acting and costuming, so I'm not holding my breath. If you want a good 'Batman' show, you should just watch Arrow.
I think DC should just give up, because they have the WORST FANS IN THE WORLD. They are never ever ever pleased with anything DC does. EVER.
Not close enough to comics? Fail, will not watch. Too many comic references? DC sucks, why can't they be like Marvel. Movie gets pushed back? DC is so slow, they will never catch up to the glory of Marvel. Movie pushed forward, or has many characters? WHY IS DC RUSHING, THIS IS GOING TO BE SO TERRIBLE, WILL NOT WATCH, MARVEL OWNS DC EVERYDAY
New Batman cartoon? TERRIBLE ANIMATION, TERRIBLE STORY, IM NOT "FEELING" IT, WILL NOT WATCH. Cartoon gets cancelled? DC IS SO STUPID, ALWAYS CANCELLING SHOWS, NO WONDER MARVEL IS SO GOOD

I've been thinking more & more about this post and I think you make some good points, but there's really more to this then the generalization you blanketed over DC fans.
1.) I enjoy Marvel, but they aren't doing everything right. Look at all the fans still bitching about the Mandarin fake out!
If Marvel was doing "everything right", then I'd be reading more then 1 book. The single book I do read is a fringe title. Biggest issue I have with Marvel: they try to rework the source material to mirror the other media versions.
2.) you don't have to like everything, but you should have to settle. Just like when a new creative team takes over a title, you don't have to continue with it if you don't like it.
Much like with Morrison's run on Batman, I don't dig the premise for this TV series. Doesn't mean I think it sucks or needs to overhauled, its just not for me. I don't think I should have to waste my time with anything I don't like; of course that also means I shouldn't be shredding it either.
You can enjoy something, but still be unhappy with the whole product. Again, that doesn't mean you have to settle. If we always settled on half-assed products, we'd be getting more Halle Berry Catwoman-type stuff.
3.) there's a dude here that contents DC is better then Marvel because of legacy, strength, depth, popularity, etc. here's something DC doesn't have: consistency. For the most part, Spider-man from the 60s has remained relatively the exact same character today. The tone, feel, etc, is mostly consistently the same.
Sure there's been revisions to Castle & Stark's origins to bring them more contemporary, but things have consistently remained the same.
DC can't say that. Batman today isn't the same as Batman in the 50s or 60s. Cuts not a bad thing, its just not consistent. To survive all these decades, it couldn't.
I bring this up because DC fans whiny about interpretations because their version of the character isn't always going to be used. Who's even to say which version is the 'true' version? Marvel characters can undergo slight tweaks & still be relatively consistent with the source material when predented in other medias.
4.) here's the key notion in this discussion: as comic book fans, we want the characters we've enjoyed to be loved by the general populace. Let's be honest, both franchises rest more on the general audiences to see the movies & TV series then us. WE are already going to see/watch regardless.
At the same time, we don't want to sacrifice anything to get the general audiences to enjoy the characters. So, even though making Joker the killer of Bruce's parents & Ra's his mentor allows the characters & stories to be accessible, we don't want to alter the source material.
What seems like a reoccurring theme is them overdoing it with cramming villain after villain into each episode. I would of had the Falcone mob war be a central theme for the first season, and then introduce people like Zsasz later on, talking of Zsasz I don't like how he's portrayed here; him walking into the main GCPD building is ridiculous it makes him look like a moron, knowing that even if he did kill Gordon he's not going to walk out of there alive. The Arkham games got him right, making him this twisted predator who feels that he has to kill, someone who makes your skin crawl. Also is that Professor Pyg at 1:58, *facepalm*

I'd seriously hope that's not Scarecrow already. It's far too soon for Crane to already be taking on his Scarecrow persona. Everything else is looking cool, though!
