Last week Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder accused a Stormtrooper of stealing the Batmobile. Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J. Abrams took to Twitter today and fired back and showed Snyder exactly what the massive Millennium Falcon would do to the Batmobile. Hans Zimmer's Dark Knight Trilogy score plays over the video and a Tumbler is used instead of Ben Affleck's new Batmobile... but you get the idea! Check out the cool video below.

Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams AKA Harvey Dent from BATMAN & BATMAN RETURNS) refers to the Falcon as the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.

did you hallucinate billy dee in Batman Returns?

I'm giving him a reprieve in gratitude for the Katy Perry pic yesterday. YMMV.

Here's your assignment:
1. Go to a hypnotist and lose the memory of Phantom Menace. The rest is optional, but you need this to avoid brain damage.
2. Google "star wars machete order" and follow the instructions.0 likes

That would be amazeballs.

I don't think he was referring to the batmobile as a hunk of junk. He was talking about the Millennium Falcon and referencing a line from the old Star Wars movies, "She's the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy." --Lando Calrissian.
This was pretty cool, although it just makes the batmobile look MORE badass that it's able to stick to the bottom of the Millennium Falcon without any of the crew noticing. It even goes into camo mode! This was more of a pro-Batman video than a pro-Star Wars video. I know it's all in good fun, but this video wasn't much of a "burn" to Snyder. Just makes the batmobile look cooler.
So while it was cool, it was a weak entry on Abrams part

When did Anakin's Jedi masters know he was leaning towards the dark side? In the Sith Grade.
So J.J. Abrams implicates that the Tumbler is hunka junk! But probably the coolest hunka junk in Gotham City
You gotta love the crossovers!
It's time for Snyder to unveil the X-Batwing.

I think he'll save that for the trailer.

Awesome
I am definitely excited for Gotham!

I am looking forward to seeing their realization of the city. Yes, there are all the villains, etc., but really I think this will succeed or fail based on how well they set up and use Gotham as an entity. There's only so far you can go without Batman, and so it'll have to rely on the noir, Burtonesque background to the procedural elements to really sustain itself. There was a review of the 1989 "Batman" that called it, "a great city movie," and I think -- and hope -- that Gotham (which names itself after said city, rather than Gordon) brings that in spades.

While I doubt we'll see a regular Batman series anytime in the reasonable future, particularly since Bats is DC's only proven-bankable movie franchise in the current century (I liked MoS, but 1 film does not a franchise make), one thing to watch for if Gotham survives is Master Mazouz's development. The boy's 13, so essentially he may have to spend his teen years as a gym rat if he's going to convincingly be "the boy who's growing up to be Batman." He can't mature into the body type of the guy who's playing Edward Nigma, for instance. And this stuff's real; it's not like an adult Affleck bulking up to play Batman and then turning into a flabby slob for his next part.... his adolescent development will be setting up his body FOR HIS ENTIRE LIFE! So if the show has legs I wonder how all that's going to turn out, and how much his parents are willing to let him put himself through, because as he is today I would see him maturing into a slim, bookish type rather than a jock.

I'm not really excited about Gotham and I am not reading those comics. But I am very excited for the third season of Arrow and the first season of the Flash.

Im most excited for Arrow > Flash > Gotham in that order. I have my worries about Gotham but hoping to be proved wrong. My concern being the creators forcing too many villains into the show so early.

shots fired.
That looked more like how the Millenium Falcon hid itself on an Imperial Space Cruiser (?) while it was trying to outrun the Imperial troops.
