New trailer for 'Batman: The Complete Television Series' Blu-ray boxset (video) [update]

This summer a teaser trailer for Batman: The Complete Television Series was released, and today IGN debuted a brand new one. For the first time ever all 120 episodes of the 1960’s Batman TV show will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Download. The series has been fully remastered in HD and will come with brand new special features. The Batman: The Complete Television Series Blu-ray boxset that comes with all the extras you saw in the video above is available for pre-order now on Amazon.

Update: Warner Bros. announced today that Adam West will be at a panel at New York Comic-Con to promote the release of Batman: The Complete Television Series.

Fans will get all the details on the most anticipated home entertainment release in fanboy history when Warner Bros. Home Entertainment puts Adam West center-stage for a Bat-tastic look at “Batman: The Complete TV Series” during a special Thursday, October 9 panel at New York Comic Con.
Starting at 6:45pm on the Main Stage in the Jacob Javits Convention Center, fans in attendance – and those live-streaming the panel at home – will get an inside sneak peak at all the exclusive content in this long-awaited home entertainment release, as well as dazzling HD remastered footage from the landmark series.
“Batman: The Complete TV Series” will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment as a Limited Edition Box Set, and on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD, starting November 11, 2014.

Anyone else think Ty Burrell would make a good Adam West style Batman?

I often imagine the cast of Batman switching places with the cast of Star Trek just fo ran episode. Seeing Adam West as Captain Kirk and William Shatner as the Caped Crusader just makes me giggle inside.

  I guess those had much of a different feel for me. Star Trek took itself a bit more seriously than Batman did.

    The tone of each show was definitely different but there are certain things about each actor that remind me of others. West and Shatner have trademark mannerisms in the way they deliver lines. I can see Burgess Meredith making a great Leonard McCoy and De Kelley turning in a decent Penguin. Walter Keonig as Robin and Burt Ward as Chekov? I can see it.
    Nichelle Nichols as Catwoman! Eartha Kitt as Uhura! Stafford Repp as Scotty and James Doohan as Chief O'Hara. Yvonne Craig, Julie Newmar, and Frank Gorshin actually made the crossover.
    It'd just have been fun to see their takes on each other's characters. Similar but different.

Agreed! I just watched this on a decent screen and they've done an amazing job with the remastering. If part of the reason it took this long was that they were really taking their time to do it right, I'm not going to complain. (They were lucky that the originals were in such good shape, too,.. film can deteriorate over time, but these colors and images look perfect!)

I've seen interviews with Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar who all state that they have recorded audio commentaries for the upcoming release. I can't confirm that the audio tracks will be on there, as I have no official statement as such, but the stars have at least confirmed recording such elements.
