This could be the week we've all been waiting for. We've seen photos of Henry Cavill as Superman on the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and by the sounds of this week's upcoming night shoots, we may finally see the Batman!

Our good friend Bananadoc sent Batman News a photo of a notice posted around the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit. It states that the movie will be shooting at night, starting tonight through Friday. But this is where things get interesting. Tomorrow, Wednesday September 10th, nearby tenants are warned that pyrotechnics will be used outdoors. Filming will take place all over the complex, including some rooftops.

Take a look at some photos of the Russell Industrial Center I found online in the gallery below and tell me it doesn't scream "Batman"! Especially that last photo that was taken at night. Be sure to check out Bananadoc's photos of the Russell Industrial Center set as well. This week should be interesting, stay tuned to Batman News for all the latest!

        Thank you for your help in this. Do you notice that first batmobile which was covered maximum posted before first batman-batmobile photo by Zack? That 'almost covered' batmobile was in this buildings any one big glass parts near. :-) The Batmobile in this building from first may be. and that Comic con Batman's full body photo,which is not officially released,also clicked in this building.

    It doesn't have anything to do with this but you know what's really weird? When Henry Cavill bulks himself up, he doesn't look fat. But when Ben Affleck does, he looks fat! How? Is it because of age?

      it not fat, the pics of Ben which we saw, at that time Ben was in his bulking cycle, which means they concentrate on making maximum bulk and then during the shirtless sequences or something similar they go with cutting cycle to achieve the perfect look, so we don;t know yet on how Ben looks without the suit, but if you are talking about the batsuit ben being fat, then man he isn't fat it's how a middle age guy's muscle build looks if not it can just be protective layers of the bat suit who knows

      Yeah sometimes he looks. But that is not fat. That is 'sometimes he doesnt looks so well-balanced'. Its looks when he not go out there after gym. But when he come after gym he looks great. Look at those set photos of him as Bruce. He looks great. But after that filming in his birthday photos in restsurant he looks fat. Actually that is not fat. when you not follow gym sometimes you look little different. Again when you start you look tight fit again. Don't worry. I also think first he is fat.

Could it be the scene from TDKReturns where the cops follow Batman into that old abandoned shit hole and Batman takes out a bunch of the mutants predator style and breaks one of the guys ribs? That'd be epic. I can't wait to see Snyder's Batman, I think he is the perfect director for Batman because he has such a flair for visuals and visual style is so incredibly important to bring Batman to life on the big screen. He is a very theatrical character.

You know what I really want to see Batman do? Actually USE his batarangs. Sure, Batbale used them in TDK series, but minimally. It was like for a couple intense shots and that was it. I think he should use them like in the DCAU. Not like a one time use per movie. Anyone agree or am I just the only one who cares and thinks this is important?

    That's a slippery slope. Too many tools & you have Batman & Robin. If the white lenses are added, I could see them more added during post. It wouldn't hinder the actor or stunt person that way.

      Have u played Arkham games? Detective mode is activated in these games by pressing LT/L2, a visual mode which provides contextual information, tinting the game
      world blue and highlighting interactive objects like destructible walls
      and removable grates, the number of enemies in an area and their
      status—such as their awareness of Batman's presence—and shows civilians
      and corpses. The mode is also used to follow footprints, investigate odors, and solve puzzles. (yes, copied from wikipedia, i didn't know how to explain it).
      Also it gives the iconic white lenses like the sonar eyes in TDK only much better looking.

        I actually don't play video games. They need to call it something different. As a detective, it sounds ridiculous to have it called "detective mode." It reminds me of when people advocate Batman using "ninja fighting skills"...which is essentially sabotage & subterfuge.
        It also sounds like Batman is wearing Iron Man's helmet.
        I understand the look of the lenses & using "screens" for night vision, thermal imaging, or infrared, but those other options seem to take away some of what makes Batman Batman.

        Also agree about the detective mode and stuff taking away the core batman-ism of Batman, but it is very cool feature from a video game point of view.

        Uh, he's human. I'm not saying it should have all the features of the game, that's redundant. I see it would be awesome in a scenario where he sees things the normal eye can't see like traces of DNA foot prints bullet data etc and uses his data base to track down person or the origin of the trace. That would not hurt his worlds greatest detective persona like some suggest but enhance it even more. Plus in the Dark tell me the eyes wouldn't scare the f out of criminals whens his gliding like in batman begins. I wouldn't even want them to mention the name of this gadget on his batsuit just use it, I don't need it to have a name he just use it to be an awesome detective I don't see the problem. Also, people have a problem with detective vision or mode but not with batarang? lol whatever.

My point is that, given how people moan about Christian Bale's Batman not being much of a detective, I don't see how giving something like detecto-vision/mode/whatever to Affleck's Batman would make him anymore of an actual detective than Christian Bale's Batman was. He's not a detective if he has his own little J.A.R.V.I.S doing the detecting for him. He certainly ain't no Sherlock Holmes.

That's how they use it on the GAME they can modify it for the movie to have different features and not be a fucking training wheel but a tool to make faster deductions. The comment is because you're complaining about the name and no one has a problem with batarang which in my opinion is stupid, but like I said they don't need to name it. Again love the fucking Ironman references like Ironman OWNS tech now...smh. Also he's human and there are things the human body can't do, that's why he uses his company to build all that advanced tech, it's not something out of this world to add it actually makes perfect sense for him to use a tool like that if he's going to keep up with all those aliens and master minds etc. He had it in young justice...even robin.

        Name aside, if his tech is doing the locating & "deducting" then anyone could use the tech & be "the world's greatest detective." The tech would take away from Batman using his own skills.
        Could it analyze fibers, paint samples, etc? Sure, CSI uses the same type of tech & it'd be hell of a lot quicker then doing all the various tests by hand to run tests.
        Should it spot stuff for him? No. Being the world's greatest detective means you're very observant. A device shouldn't be sporting the clues.
        Should it make the deductions for him? No. Another part of being the world's greatest detective means you're great at problem solving & "connecting the dots." A device shouldn't be putting the picture together. It should only assist with providing the puzzles pieces to put together.

      That movie sucked and was set to fail. It wasn't the tools but the interpretation and the way they executed the use of them. Snyder knows his shit, look at those damn sweet batmobiles.

        The 'sweetness' of the Batmobile is subjective.
        Part of what makes Batman great is that he doesn't need all this equipment. The batarang is a simple multipurpose tool like a Swiss Army knife.
        Year One is held in high regard. Some of that is the bare bones of the equipment. Sometimes when you have too many tools, you lose track with your own skill.
        Batman & Robin was set to fail. It was made to market merchandise.

        Its essentially the exact same thing as Fox running the tests & manning the computer console in TDK...only reminiscent of RoboCop (actually, Iron Man, but you don't want that comparison.)

  What I really want to see is Batman as a detective. The Nolan trilogy did a great job in showing vigilante Batman, but we didn't see much of detective Batman. Burton's movies showed some of it, but not nearly enough. I want to see Batman actually being "the world's greatest detective".

I feel like this might be the location where supes and bats throw down. Seems like a move bats would make fighting in an abandoned warehouse to minimize civilian injury. Probably something Snyder thought about considering how much criticism MOS got with all the destruction.

I hope Snyder is shooting more on location. Some of the previous set pics and this suggest that. Even more so if he actually uses IMAX for this!! Chris, do you know something about that? I thought I once read somewhere that JJ uses three IMAX camera's for Star Wars VII and Snyder one for BvS, wouldn't that be fantastic?? This film is already going to be massive but nothing beats 15/70mm IMAX!!! OMG

Dude you've just pissed off a lot of Batman fans. However, I totally agree with you. The first fight Batman shouldn't win. It should be like Superman beats up Batman (for whatever reason) and then Batman's puts everything he has on Superman and Superman fighting with all his powers. Epic fight right there

  If there's a fight there probably will be one and Wonder Woman will have to spank both their asses.:) I know we all want Batman to win this fight but realistically I think he would lose unless Superman was holding back (or he had help)

    I didn't mind it, but I thought it might have progressed into something more Batman-y (Batman-y?) as the series went on. I suppose it makes perfect sense in that particular world that Batman would have something like that, rather than something like Tim Burton's bat-mobile. It fits perfectly.

      Batman-y? Are talking huge fins which serve no purpose and the batman symbol on the wheels? I never understood why Batman would be that flashy when it came to his vehicles. If he's building them himself; why bother with "bling". If he's building through his companies, last thing you'd have them build is something the literally screams "Batman". Of course that's just MY take on it. :)
      I do love the look of the Arkham Knight one. it's a prefect evolution from the Tumbler.

so it would be great if this was a set for Gotham and this set is used to showcase an action sequence filled with true martial arts batman style fighting with one of his lesser known villain and thugs,that is batman brutally kicking their ass in bat-fu, would be one helluva intro scene for batman, just BAD ASS

I want fucking cameos of The Joker in this film. Easter Egg, whatever. Even if it's pretty much invisible like the Batman poster in Man of Steel

    but i really want a new joker in this DCCU, after reading the new 52 death of the family, i thought it would make one helluva live action batman movie, but not telling i want a joker in this movie or justice league but just some minor reference like, bat guy fights with crazy people like clowns and walking alligators, or something similar

      That's one of the few things I like about New 52 and I would like that as a movie. I want a Flashpoint adaption too

        Flashpoint paradox or Flashpoint, because if they are making flashpoint it means they have to make a reboot again, so i don't think flashpoint will be made, but flashpoint paradox is kinda interesting, but with WB DC's film roadmap already released, flashpoint paradox doesn;t look likely :)

      Agreed. We are more than likely getting a new Joker which is fine by me since I love the character. I just want to see villains like Red Hood and Firefly in the DCCU.

    Probably he won't be in it but I want him. He's funny, crazy, interesting and a huge character in DCU. He's one of my favorites. He's complicated and mysterious

      He'd also be potentially an old guy too. I'd like to see more minor rogues; KGBeast, Firefly, & Hugo Strange.
      Truthfully, I'd like to see less characters crammed into this movie. Its sounding more & more like what I've heard was a big issue with Amazing Spider-man 2. Just give me Batman verses Kent with Lex reveling in the fight. No "intro" character side bars. No "side mission" fights. Just Batman verses Kent.
