This 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' email was sent to Detroit businesses today

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice car chase that was rumored to begin today will actually start shooting tomorrow, August 7th through Saturday, August 9th. Batman News has obtained an email that was sent out today to local businesses in Detroit around where filming will take place.

Surprisingly residents weren't warned about loud noises like explosions or gun shots, but they were given a heads up that a helicopter will be flying low to the ground on Saturday. If you live in the Detroit area you'll want to take a look at all of the street closings listed in the email below. Travel will likely be a pain over the next few days, but everything is expected to return to normal on Sunday, August 10th.

Good afternoon Detroit.
Beginning Thursday, August 7 through Saturday, August 9, 2014, a project in the area will result in road closures that will affect access to the Financial District parking garage. The road closures will also cause intermittent access to Chrysler House, Federal Reserve and the Qube building entrances.
Road Closures
Fort Street from Griswold Street to Shelby Street will be closed on Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2014.
Congress Street from Woodward Avenue to Washington Boulevard will be closed on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
Griswold Street from Lafayette Street to Larned Street will be closed on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
All streets will reopen on Sunday, August 10, 2014.
Financial District (Chrysler House) Parking Garage Entrance/Exit Closures
The Shelby Street entrance will be open on Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8, 2014. During this time Shelby Street will be converted for two way traffic from Lafayette Street to the parking garage entrance.
Due to the full closure of Shelby Street on Saturday, August 9, 2014, the Shelby Street entrance to the parking garage will be closed. Team members will need to use the Lafayette Street entrance/exit during this time.
Normal operation will resume on Sunday, August 10, 2014.
Chrysler House, Federal Reserve and the Qube Entrance/Exit Intermittent Closures
Starting on Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2014, the Fort Street entrance/exits to both Chrysler House and Federal Reserve buildings will be closed intermittently for the project. Please use Griswold Street entrance for Chrysler House and the back/alley entrance for the Federal Reserve.
On Saturday, August 9, 2014, the south entrance/exit of the Qube on Griswold Street will also be closed intermittently. Please access the building using the Woodward Avenue entrances/exits.
Normal operation will resume on Sunday, August 10, 2014.
On Saturday, August 9, 2014, you may hear or see a helicopter flying low near Fort Street, please do not be alarmed.
As well, there will be clear directional signage posted during this time.

If they really are filming a car chase scene over the next few days, hopefully that means they're bringing out the Batmobile! You have to have a good guy and a bad guy for a chase, right? I don't think Superman or Wonder Woman would have to drive. Stay tuned to Batman News for all the latest on what goes down on this Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice shoot.

If there is a chase sequence, it could just be Batman chasing/being chased by random thugs sometime early on in the movie. Maybe even the first time we'll see Batman in action (as soon as he comes out of retirement).

Either way, it's gonna be freakin' awesome.

    Excellent! A strong alpha male is the epitome of the sort of patriarch who'd leave a lifelong impression on his son.     Well, Zack Snyder did say in one of his interviews that the Batman will likely be beating the crap out of guys so technically he won't be semi-retiring at all, I don't think they're going to even mention him retiring even though it will be influence by the novel ( storywise of course).

I just think that because of the actions of Man of Steel, Batman will just be focusing on getting superman and seeing metropolis and finding out whats going on with all the aliens as will be lex, doubt he will be retired at all, just experienced and even more dangerous

Judging from all those older, neoclassical buildings in the video, I'd say Gotham. I'd expect Metropolis to be more "bright and shiny."
