Tom Hardy looks like Bane in 'Mad Max: Fury Road' Comic-Con trailer

Move over Mel Gibson, Tom Hardy is the new star of the Mad Max franchise.

Warner Bros. debuted the first trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road at their Comic-Con panel on Saturday, but now it's officially online for the world to see. The trailer is absolutely insane, and at one point, Tom Hardy is sporting a muzzle that instantly made me think of his performance as Bane from The Dark Knight Rises. Check it out!

That was a fun trailer, but the Comic-Con footage that we're all waiting to see is from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It leaked online shortly after the Warner Bros. panel, but fans are itching to see it in all its HD glory. The good news is that Warner Bros. has said that they'll be releasing the footage online soon. The bad news... "soon" is such a relative term!

  I don't really buy that. I think the soonest we get anything will be a teaser with The Hobbit. I can't see WB actually releasing any footage widely until then. Or next summer.

    I gotta agree. It seems weird to release a teaser trailer for a movie that's 2 years away from being released. Unless they plan to actually release it sometime next year, I'm doubtful we'll see the trailer this year
    EDIT: I just clicked the link Batman-News posted. Why is it Warner Bros. Portugal has announced the trailer is releasing soon, but Warner Bros. Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures, and/or DC Comics haven't announced the same thing?

    It's an official WB account and the international social media accounts were great sources of news back for TDKR. I'm remaining optimistic!

      First what WB/DC show in Comic-Con that is not a trailer. That is a footage. Trailer and footage is not same. WB will realese that footage soon? It is good if they do it early. I mean this month.

      Yep I know, but they can turn it into a teaser trailer. My thought in it all is if they do release it in the theater, then that means that this film will get pushed ahead.

      You are saying,they just not release the footage? Some more clips add and make a teaser? It is good. But if they just release that footage only for this time and named it as a 'Footage 1' it will great. There is time for teaser trailer and trailer 1,2,3 and TV spots. I think that footage is enought for this time. I am just saying they need to release the footage intact what they show in cc. And if they are ready to release teaser trailer then okay,just release it. But that intact footage they need to release separetly.

  I hope that WB decides to move this back to its original release date, or at least some time close in the near future. It's seams like they are really ahead - especially giving us some early footage in the middle of filming

  Yea I would have liked a golden lasso but it's still awesome! At least she has a lasso as well. Speculation had it that they weren't going to include the lasso because it was too cheesy..but they did include it!! So I'm happy about that.

Announced that they will not officially release the bvs teaser trailer. They said it was just a concept trailer. We will only get bootlegs of that, unless you saw it at comic con.

Now I don't think this is to take away from fairly reliable sources, but if it's been said they're not releasing it, then... well, they're not releasing it. Assuming they're either lying or waiting to reveal it in a later trailer. Perhaps it'll be like how it was done with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, when a Comic-Con clip was used at the beginning of the UK Pirates trailer. Pure speculation on my part, but it's either WB releases a BvS clip or they don't... and right now it appears they're not. :(
